Indie star Father John Misty stopped by the b.b. gun's The Shed while in Vancouver during his current tour. Misty immediately picked up on the vibe of the little room and played an exclusive set to an audience of about 25 people. This is the b.b. gun session.

Both "The Suburbs" and "Bored in the U.S.A." are songs to which I can relate. I, personally, never wanted the suburban lifestyle. Bored to tears by it, yet through passivity, found myself there, and I am finally working my way out. Spot on, as always, Josh Tillman!

J Dem It's curious you know, I live in a third world country and yet, tho some people might consider this an exciting lifestyle in a picturesque place, I can wait no longer to get out of here. I guess the heart always desires something different. But I completely relate to the comment.

Those are quintessential 1st world white people problems, I've seen black man spend their entire life fighting to make it out of the hood & into a suburban division.

+Maija Filipoviča Nah, I'm guessing 10 times of 10 those individuals working in slave labor camps for 10/11 hours a day making our clothing would much rather have our western civilization.

Mathias Smith That or everybody got bored and left the video before they could digest what he is talking about. I choose to accept the other idea, but then again it's probably both. Either way this dude is a fucking genius.

+suportyourlocalDJ84 i'm gonna be honest, i'm finding him to be terribly annoying and pretentious and like skirting around whatever it is he is trying to say. he sounds like an amalgamation of every annoying hipster i have ever met.

+buttrock obama I thought the exact same thing. If you listen to Andy biersack or pharrel Williams talk about music this guy doesn't compare at all. He just sounds... Stupid.

+buttrock obama I guess I don't hate him. I should just try out his music. Saw a clip of him that made me crack up and it led me to a few interviews. Someone said a hipster is just a goth kid with better style. I like his style but come on wtf
