- Unveiling the unseen, let silence be shattered.
Social media tends to showcase everything positive, and hides the struggles of day to day life. For myself, that is chronic pain from hyper mobility syndrome and the mental health strain.
I have felt a pressure to maintain this positive outlook, but I didn't want to suffer in silence any longer.
Depression, anxiety and chronic pain affect millions of people all across the world, yet there is still a stigma. I hope this documentary shows a vulnerable side that allows others to feel like they are not alone in this battle, and that no matter how perfect someone's life may be across the internet, you never know what is going on behind the scene.
So let's break this stigma, support one another and do what we love.
Thank you.

Bex, I am so proud of you. I have struggled with clinical anxiety and depression and understand how hard it is to share your experience. I have people in my life who struggle w hypermobility syndromes and their sequelae (dysautonomia/POTS, early joint disease, spinal instability, ME/CFS, etc.) and know how much it effects daily life and future planning. As a public figure, sharing your story brings hope and recognition for others with these diseases. Thank you for publicly sharing your story, as vulnerable and nerve-racking as it is. I wish you the best with your health and success with your career. keep that chin up, and as Freddie Mercury says, "my smile, still, stays on.... find the will to carry on."
Thank you so much!
Well done Bex, this must have been a really tough video to film ❤️✨ I’m sure it’s going to help a lot of people out there who are going through things. I’m always here for you xxx
Thank you Tish❤️xxx
I can imagine this was hard yet cathartic to film. It takes a lot of courage to be so vulnerable to help others. Thank you for sharing your story, it’s very inspiring to see despite your challenges - you’ve achieved so much. I hope you are proud of yourself (you should be) and that you feel better soon x
Thank you so much Abi! I was extremely nervous to post this (and in filming) but the support from people and also already the help people have said it has given has made me feel proud! 🫶🏼
Mega proud of you for speaking out about everything you’ve been through. Never be ashamed of who you are as that’s what makes you beautiful. Lots of love always❤
Thank you gorgeous! Lots of love❤️
You're awesome at what you do, and its important to get messages like this out to the world. I've always been overwhelmed with the amount of support I get when I mention anything mental health related on my channel or podcast. Makes you realise people are more behind you than you think.
The support has been incredible! I’m so grateful🥺
I subscribed to your channel after I watched your Caterham daily review and thought you were a really capable and eloquent reviewer.
Dealing with the haters comes with age and experience and having good people around you.
You seem a very intelligent person and I think you will deal with the trials of modern life and I wish you the best if only so that I can see more of your excellent reviews and posts. 🙂
Thank you so much! Your support is appreciated!
Hi Bex, you are a lovely and intelligent young woman. As you say, I had no idea as you always looked so happy in your videos. Massive respect for doing this as it will, without doubt, help others. Look forward to your next video which I will view in a new light! Well done.
Thank you so much🙌🏼
Thanks for raising awareness on this Bex, i honestly didn't know about hypermobility syndrome.
All the best for 2024!
Thank you🙌🏼
Offering all the support and encouragement you deserve for the amount of incredible work you've been doing since you started the Driving Bex channel! Great to see a spotlight being shone on the importance of mental (and physical) health conditions in the automotive creative space. ☺️
Thank you so much Jasper🫶🏼
Massive respect to you for being so brave, Bex. Keep doing what you love because it’s brilliant - your followers have your back all the way 💙
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it🙌🏼
You know im always here ❤️ chronic pain is living hell at times, add in the chronic fatigue and the mental health and it wuickly becomes a lonely dark place! But you know you can always speak to me even if it's about that 1 person commenting mean stuff ❤️ I cant wait to keep watching your journey xx
Thank you so much sweet! The same goes to you❤️
I've suffered with mental health challenges for much of my life so I can relate - here if you ever wanna chat.
Thank you! The same goes to you!
Bex, look after yourself. It matters not what the (anti) social media expect or what other people expect you to look or act like. We all have to deal with things that affect us both physically and mentally and that affects the way we behave and feel. I have been a subscriber of the channel from not long after it started and you inspire many others. Take care and look after yourself, social media is a minefield so please don't take everything to heart. Life is difficult sometimes and it takes time to deal with it, so take the time you need.
Thank you for your support🫶🏼
First, I want to thank you for your openness in sharing your battle with both your inner (the depression) and your outer (the hyper mobility syndrome) pain. It's never the easiest thing to do, but by doing so, you're giving all of us even more reasons to not only enjoy your content...but also to love who you are as a fellow human.
I'm rooting for you, my dear - not just in winning your battles with these demons - but in continuing to live out your passion of driving (and reviewing) all sorts of vehicles - and achieving your ultimate goal of getting back behind the wheel and racing again! Sending much love (and empathetic (hugs)) to you, my beautiful friend! ❤😘 #withlove #yourenotalonebex
Thank you so much for your support🥹
Well done Bex for making this video! Can only repeat what others have already said. Always enjoy watching your reviews. Keep up the great work and very best wishes for the future.

Well done for being so open and honest about the challenges that you’re facing and I wish you all the best in your continued journey. I didn’t have a good 2023 but things are looking up for 2024. Tough times don’t last, tough people do - as others have said - hang in there and keep up with the great content!

I think personally you are an amazing person who has a lot to give, i hope you never give up! As someone who suffers with Depression, anxiety you are a real inspiration for the younger generation. Keep at it you deserve every opportunity your content is great! ❤
Thank you so much! That means a lot🥰
Amazing video Bex!!
Good on you for opening up and think we can all take a leaf out of your book. Social media is a highlight reel & it’s worth reminding people for when those down days come.
Best of luck with the Chronic pain! Take each day as it comes and hopefully see you back on the track soon for good 💪🏼
Thank you! Definitely looking forward to getting back out there!💪🏼
Hope you are doing okay Bex, the first thing with mental health is realising and admitting you have a issue and getting help with it, trying to get family and friends to understand is pretty much impossible if they have never suffered themselves.
Thank you! And couldn’t agree more!
Love your videos. Huge respect for talking so openly and from the heart. Keep doing you and making brilliant content!
Thank you so much 😊
This will help a lot of people so good on you and I hope you can get help to make things better x
Thank you Mark!
Just keep on keepin' on
🙌🏼
I'm so sorry you have to go through all of this. It knows it is very hard physically and mentally. My girlfriend has chronic pain as well so I can understand a bit of what you're going through. It really sucks. Chronic pain does need to be talked about more and socially understood. I'm really glad you're pushing through to create content and trying to stay positive. I hope something comes through and helps you with everything you have going on.
Thank you! 🙌🏼
Well done for speaking out how you feel, more so on a social platform. It's hard to do, let alone in front of tons of people you don't know. I've suffered with mental health, and I can relate to a lot of what you have said. Wishing you the best!
Thank you🙌🏼
Oh wow. What an incredibly strong young lady you are. So so proud of you!! I’m sure this will help someone. Remember you are never alone 🥰
Thank you🥰
Massive respect for opening up. Hope this helps someone out there too. ❤
Thank you 🫶🏼
You are a brave and intelligent lady. I think being open and being you, is such a positive thing to do. The future is bright when you have that attitude, that much I am sure of 🧡 Look forward to more great reviews!
Thank you so much!🫶🏼
Well done, big respect, keep pushing on :-)
Thank you! Will do!
Very difficult video to make, and to get diagnosed. It seems an unnecessary fight but that part is done now. Talk will of course help. Try to ignore any pressure, do and talk about what you love; I and I’m sure many others are here because we follow your passion 🙏
Thank you so much!!🙌🏼
Sorry,
I Am In Daily Agony And Alone.
Well done for making this Bex, having suffered myself from mental health issues I feel your pain, so hard for some people to get there head around it and understand it but it’s so complex to explain ❤️🙌
Well done for taking about it and know that I’m always here if you ever want to talk 🫶
Thank you!! The same always goes to you too🫶🏼
