It’s finally here!! I’ve been thinking about this day for such a long such, I can hardly believe the song is really out!
I started writing RISK in early 2021, while I was finishing Beginner’s Guide. At that point, I was already pretty deep into writing this next album, but I knew almost instantly that I wanted thos song to be how I introduced this new record to the world. It feels like the perfect encapsulation of this new era for me. At its core, this song and this album are about overcoming fear. The bigger I dream, the more I’ve found fear to be a luxury that I can’t afford. There’s just so much I want to do and so many challenges to surmount in the process! That hardly leaves room for me to be an obstacle to myself. Once I started trying to articulate that feeling, I realized that it was quintessential to this new chapter in my life and in my career. A lot of this album is about trust, so this was kind of my moment to write about trusting myself.
I hope you like it! There’s so much of myself in this song and I’m SO proud of it!!! I hope it spurs you to tackle something that scares you or take on a challenge that seems daunting.

It's so full of energy, switching between such a whimsical and crazy insane rock and just utterly COOL sound! I loved the callback to the magic trick that you showed in the vlog!!! Never heard a Jhariah song that wasn't an absolute banger. His voice scratches that itch in my brain that no other artist can.
I am not being hyperbolic when i say this is genuinely one of my favorites songs ever. While i may go through phases of listening to other songs i will always come back to this one because it has everything i love in a song. The quick pace and lyrics, the changing style and tempo like it is always trying to one-up itself (and succeeding) its just so good! I love this song and it will probably be my defult answer to "what is your favorite song?" For the foreseeable furtrue. Doesn’t matter the time of day or mood i will be nodding my head along to this banger.
