When this song first came out, my sister set it as my grandma's ringtone. Her name was Loretta. Whenever someone would call her, this song would play. She died last Tuesday, and now whenever I hear this song, I can't help but think of her.
Damn sorry about your grandmother you have great taste this song is so good 🙏🏽
Condolences for your loss 😢 but I know she was very very loved
*sad dancing* :(
As someone who is sick with sadness because their grandmother died in 2022. I am sorry. Love to you.
She's dancing with the angels now every time someone plays this song.
The cameraman not hitting his cue on the sax solo is my favorite part
Mine too, it's too good
I like when the disembodied hands of a roadie take the sax off his hands 👐 👐
Not only clever, but something was necessary there to allow a cut to Cameron playing another instrument, so doing it with humor was ace.

I don't think people realize that this track is actually a goldmine in terms of lore. Based on just the lyrics alone, we can deduce a ton of things about Loretta:
- she can be seen walking now and then
-she can be seen coming near
-everything she says is a lie
-she was fooled
-she never won the fight

You forgot one super subtle but crucial detail
- he met her morning noon and night
@@lort8334 Shocked I missed this one. This actually really ties things nicely together. I'll have to make a followup vid about it
I would say that Loretta is a femme fatale, using her presence as if that is everything he needs, but he knows it is not true, so that is why he is the real one fooling her for a very long time, mockingly saying that how they are supposed to carry on because he is too tired of her attitude or sarcastically provoking her to use other methods to finally conquer him.
He is winning the fight.
