Another awesome place, episode, and experience. It was so cute how kids just wrapped you all around and wanted to show you their life. They are a lovely small community that doesn’t see newcomers too often :) so nice you got to spend time with kids at school. It’s so important to bring up curiosity in kids. Right before watching your episode I watched a documentary about Somalia and one of the most important things there that they focus on is education. Another amazing view into the life of people most will never even think about. I want to show my students how these children go to school and study, how hard they work, and their life. I wish you guys had more time so you can visit a village where I come from in Santa Ana. There are three villages in Santa Ana, Gupuna, better known as Port Mary is where you dropped your anchor and had some fun with kids. My village is on the eastern end of the island and of the three villages, my village, which is called Natagera is the only one that still preserve traditional and custom houses that housed human bones of chiefs, warriors and headman etc, dating back more than a decade. Most international visitors who travelled to the island of santa Ana know about these custom houses and their stories. I am now working and living overseas but my early junior primary education began at that very primary school you visited. It's sad to see some of the buildings are badly run down. Children in my island are always eager and curious about Western tourists and so they tend to flock or congregate whenever the tourists go. There are heaps of things you still have to learn about Santa Ana island. With climate change, my island of Santa Ana is no exception. Thank you for visiting Santa Ana and I hope you will go back again for a visit in the future.

It really is crazy how we take so many things for granted. Our society is so centric on instant gratification and it feels toxic! It is super refreshing to be exposed to these lifestyles and see how simplicity and minimalism provide so much gratitude and joy for these people.
