Did anyone else love the lemons wallpaper in the main characters living room?
This is spot on for a lot of Western young singles...shop around, throw em away when they don't fit the fluxuating tastes of this season or they lose the perfect image when you have that 1st bad argument..because remember we're all snow flakes, special and deserve perfection ..right?

It’s a _fictional_ short story… nothing to do with our society. It came from someone’s imagination. 😅
They are not perfect because they are 'perfect', but because you can kill and dump them anytime; no compromising or work is needed.
Isn't that just the best part?! Why work when you don't need to?
I loved it. I think it pictures perfectly what is happening today with love apps. Loved the camera, the art, the costumes, the actor was hot!!! Congrats!!

I love this short film. It's hilarious but also surprisingly deep & meaningful.
My BF's parents urged him to break up with me 24 hours after I met them for lunch because they wanted grandkids. Told him before we even got together that I wasn't having kids, which he said he understood. The fact that he acquiesced to his parents meant that he wanted kids too & believed he could change my mind. I think I might've dodged a bullet there.
Sounds like they are the perfect candidates for Soil Mate's new "Perfect Child Wanting Wife" coming this Summer!

I once had a date and in the 1st hour she told me how she just disliked kids, kids weren't cute, she was into her work etc ..instantly she to me was so robotic and lacked human love and warmth. Who hates babies??
@RK-qh3ll, nowhere in my comment does it say that I hate babies. I took care of my nephew from 3 months old up to toddler age. I would ask kindly not to twist my words or put words into my "mouth", figuratively speaking as a form of gaslighting.
To your other point, I'm not having kids due to health issues (4th gen hereditary disease) and economic reasons, among others. But if you insist on equating childlessness to selfishness, you are certainly entitled to your own opinion and beliefs, as I am with mine. Live and let live.

It's all the Canadians' fault. All that nuclear testing really messed with how well those rollers worked. If only they knew the kind of consequences all that nuclear energy would have on that vintage hair.

The black lace gloves she wore when she took out the…dead plant. Sure it’s a metaphor for modern life, but really, wanting the perfect mate goes back to when Grrr bopped Graa over the head and dragged her back to the cave. After 40 years of marriage, I can tell you that we love someone for their faults, not despite them. I think Uncle Ben said that.

Funny. But seems a reflection on society now. Easy come, easy go relationships. So little commitment to family. So little desire for many to even start a family. So many who view kids as being too expensive and too much a pain in the rear and not worth it. Enjoyed your film though. Nice work.

Hey! We feel there is a couple of themes we wanted to hit on in here that are somewhat connected. The first being around the ideas of finding a partner in the modern world and how easy it is for us to move on when we find something we don’t like. With the swipe of our fingers we have plenty of options which is exactly what the characters in the film have. Another idea we hit on is the consumeristic nature of our society. We all need the next best thing so whatever we got is never good enough. But that theme came naturally out of the writing while the theme of throwing away love easily was the real inspiration that got the script going! Thanks for the question and hope you enjoyed it! (I’m also not going to re-read this, so hopefully it had full sentences and made sense 😂)

Brilliant short film. It was a bit odd and the only pedophilia reference when the director or producer obviously put his own son, nephew or other young relative into the film @19:20, where we see a woman in her 30's walking with an apparently purchased and grown teenage boyfriend seed. Of course they couldn't have gotten away with showing an adult man walking with his purchased and grown teenage girlfriend seed.

There is nothing funny about Nuclear Winter.
It's an alternate reality, They are at peace with the soviets (if you pay attention earlier you will see they are not in a cold war). Canada seems to be the enemy here.
It's a statement on how stupid having warmongers in government ARE.
