I don't want to put pressure on myself by sticking to a rigid upload schedule. But my goal is roughly to get at least 1 video out a month.
The more I played, the more I grew to despise Hard Corps Uprising. I think it's a sloppily designed game with a frustrating and absurd achievements list which strip away any potential fun. Attaching a connection to the Contra franchise was nothing more than an attempt at a cash-in.
It's gonna suck SO BAD going through it. Luckily, I learned about/bought the DLC character with the sword, so at least I won't have to worry about losing power ups. Were you able to get any of the harder achievements in the game?
@@Beyond_Boredom I grinded out all the Rising mode achievements, but the difficult Arcade mode achievements will likely remain untouched. (I just purchased and played through it for the first time within the past few months). Good luck trying to get through that game without losing a life! Deaths come quick cheap and easy in that game.
@@Beyond_Boredom A character which doesn't lose power-ups might not help you with the achievement which requires you to get through arcade mode WITHOUT picking up any power-ups 😲
@@UToobin75 the character can’t use any power ups to begin with. You just have a sword that doubles as a long range weapon. I bet you could still pick them up and void the achievement. But might be doable still

You make me look like a fucking casual. I have been achievement hunting for a few years and got 138,000 gamer score and i feel like nothing watching this lol.
@@Beyond_Boredom i play mostly mainstream games but did do 10 easy games. I still hate multiplayer achievements to death. Overall its weird i do like the high gamerscore stacking up but when i play a game i see it as more of completing a permant check list. With casually playing through it and watching the story ones come up first and then doing the easy ones. Best part is the after game mop up where i go through achievements from easiest to hardest with guides showing me easy ways to do hard ones. I still fear rdr 2 for its 70 missions fully complete and its 100 percent checklist. But do really love when games so you the percentages of each achievement done. Though gamer score wise i would like to make it higher but i honestly have no goal because im not turning my video game hobby into a stressful unpaid job to reach a quota. I get more done when im having fun. I admit only 30 of my 400 games are full completed either because an achievement was to hard or because i got burned out after playing a game for too long. So hopping between new and old games but usually do get 1,000 gamerscore on a month where im just existing. Biggest achievement score i had was doing 5 tell tale games (where you could basically be high and still 100 percent them in 8 hours) and had 5000 gamer score. Was rather happy with that but did remind myself that fun comes over numbers.
@@thewhitewolf58 Hey we all got those easy games on our tags. I’ll admit, I have a few as well. Just keeping up with gamerscore inflation, amirite? 😂 I’m more about the completion and difficulty ratio (on true achievements) than the gamerscore. Mostly I don’t mind multiplayer achievements when they are reasonable and when the game is still relevant. But as soon as you have to boost them or there are server closure deadlines, they’re my worst nightmare. I gotta do Red Dead 2 as well. Been putting it off for years. Sounds like you have the right attitude with achievement hunting. Sometimes I get carried away and take it too seriously, but most of the time I do it because it’s something I enjoy - enough to make videos about it!
@@Beyond_Boredom your cool for completion and difficulty ratio. You ever try that ghost recon achievement where you need to be number 1 online? I hear that one basically requires a server farm.
Good question! It’s because completing 100% in games is something I’m passionate about and determined to do in every game. That’s because it’s usually a fun/challenging/rewarding experience. But then you just have games like these where they just add grinds for grinds sake. Or maybe they could have been fun, but given how old they are, you aren’t left with many options for the 100%. Generally I would just play these games on another account if I really wanted to play them. But unfortunately, I started 90% of the games in the video before I really cared about this sort of thing. So now I’m trying to get through them in the least painful way as possible. Definitely my least favorite part about achievement hunting though

It makes me so happy to hear you’re enjoying 😊 Definitely going to keep at it. Thank you so much for your support man, I will not forget 🙏🏻
You're making some great content! These first few videos have been very well done indeed.
Hey, thanks man! I'm glad you're liking the content! Having a fun time doing it and so excited to make more!

Thank you!!! Welcome aboard 😊 New vid coming out tonight or tomorrow btw 😃
This man is going through hell so that we could have fun. Truly a hero
I went through hell before I even knew I’d make this channel. Tf wrong with me 😂😂 Glad people like you can enjoy watching me go through it now, truly an honor!
@@Beyond_Boredom yeah the gta 5 video was tough
Damn vato doing work these vids are great fr fr
You are the GOAT bro
Thank you Gavin! ❤🙏
Idle boosting is the title of my biography
lmao, I'd consider those Minecraft resource farms idle boosting. "The Most RIDICULOUS Minecraft resource farms" would make an interesting vid 😆
I like the angle. Nice video sir.
Thank you! Glad you liked it :)
Great editing keep it up
Thank you!! 😊🙏🏻
I fw your stuff hard bro plus finding out your a programmer was no surprise lol. I saw the signs in your earlier videos.🤣😅
Thanks for checking my other stuff out too man, it makes me happy that you're enjoying it! Lol yeah, all the logic breakdowns are a big tell 😆
I thought you had 5 million subs not 5 thousand your quality is amazing!
I really appreciate that, thank you so much!! 😊
BRUH THE LEFT 4 DEAD WITCH SOUNDS HAHAHAHA
😢
Not an achievement but I used to shove a dime under my 3DS joystick to hatch eggs on Pokemon X and Y XD
Wait, can you explain how that works exactly? 🤣
@@Beyond_Boredom there was a circular above view section of the main city where if you were moving to the side you could run infinitely lol
jeez dude youre on some 5head shit with some of these strats
I can only take full credit for Hard Corps Uprising one, the only one that didn’t work 😂😂😂
Yo dude I promise if you post more you'll get popular trust me u just have that channel post more plz
Thanks man, I appreciate the encouraging words! I'm doing my best to get things out as fast as I can. I'm keeping at it every day, but my uploads are still infrequent because my editing style takes 5ever and I have a very demanding full time job that takes up a majority of my time. I don't want to put pressure on myself by sticking to a rigid upload schedule. But my goal is roughly to get at least 1 video out a month.
Your hardcore bro
I will do whatever it takes for that 100% 😆
The more I played, the more I grew to despise Hard Corps Uprising.
But might be doable still
@@Beyond_Boredom I don't pay to win. That's cheating the system! 😛
How u remind me is really fun to play 🎸
Those games will always hold a special place in my heart. Never selling my 360, those games, or my guitar 💯
@@Beyond_Boredom they make so much money selling dlc songs it doesn’t even make sense to make more at this point 😞 but hopefully eventually
@@Beyond_Boredom guitars I Mean
Max Payne university 👏
Better than the Ivy Leagues 😎
What is that controller and how do I get one.
It's a Horipad EX Turbo Xbox 360 controller. Here's the Amazon link for more info: amzn.to/3zEujmZ
It says it's currently unavailable. Maybe check ebay or other platforms, maybe the Hori website (stores.horiusa.com/) and I think you might have more luck.
You make me look like a fucking casual. I have been achievement hunting for a few years and got 138,000 gamer score and i feel like nothing watching this lol.
😂 Hey man, don’t discount what you’ve accomplished! 138k in a few years is great imo!
@@thewhitewolf58 I have definitely heard of that one, but NO THANK YOU 😂😂
Drew gooden?
😂 first time I’ve gotten that, but I 100% see it!!
Jk, surprise. It’s Drew! Welcome to my gaming channel!
LET'S GOO
Ayyyyyy, hope you enjoyed man! Sorry about the wait, hopefully it was worth it! Will do my best to get the next vid out quicker ❤
...but why?
Part twooooooo
Shiiiiet, I only have a couple more methods, not enough to make a full video on. Maybe I can make the video on methods beyond the ones I've personally used. I''ve heard some pretty spicy methods mentioned in the comments lol
