Vaka is hands down my all time favourite track - everything from music, vocals to the music video - if you're here still in 2022 i appreciate you. that is all.

It is a made up language, used mainly on the ( )-album, called Volenska or Hopelandic in english. "It’s nonsense-singing, designed to convey the absence of meaning. A blank slate for the listener to conjure their own significance." It really makes you to just listen. The voice is "just" another instrument, and it's perfect.

It's a Yamaha Portasound Vss-30 it's almost like a toy keyboard that you can record samples of your voice in to then change the pitch and distort it and stuff. I've been looking all over for them. So hard to find! they're pretty old.
