If I got to see this live I could die, like literally. I don't think it could ever be possible to experience something even close to this ever again. It's out of this world. I'm just rambling trying to find the words to explain how this makes me feel, but I can't. The only ones who can understand are the ones who understand....
Thank you for uploading this. I was there. It was a fantastic concert. I went to see it just a few weeks before going back to my country, after an extended stay in Japan. Just before the show was going to start, I was taking my seat. I saw walking on the opposite side of the row a lovely girl I had already noticed several times at Shibuya's HMV, Disc Union and Tower Records. We used to search for the same staff in those records shops. She also saw me. And she was alone, like me. I felt my heart leap. "I only I dared to talk to her when shopping our records, maybe we could have been enjoying the show together", I fancied. The poignant melancholy of the music overwhelmed me.
Just.. incredible. October 2nd, 2023 and very much appreciating being able to watch and listen to this performance, and feel what it makes me feel. Thank you, to everyone who had a hand in it.
I went to this tour n San Diego at the Spreckel's theater, I think it was the same year, first row, and when Jonsi hit the best part of the song I remember my heart was racing and it was the weirdest and most intense experience I have ever lived in a concert. That same night was also the first time they ever played Viđrar vel til loftarasa live, as a birthday present to a friend. It was an out of this world experience.
I don't like those kind of talent shows, but I would like Jonsi to go to a random audition somewherejust to see the judges' faces The vocals here are perfect

THere is no language, only music. He sings in a language he made up which basically just consists of meaningless syllables. That being said, this music means more than most.
Really? You saw them in 2002? Thats so cool. Most of their songs got better with age I think but I saw this one live 2 times (This year and last year) and this was the only song I didnt like that much live. It just didn't got me. Maybe it was because of Kjartan or something. I wish they would play it like this again.
Saw them perform this song still without Kjartan, or the orchestra. Just 3 of them on stage, with an incredible visual backdrop video, it was a highlight of the night. Of my life.
This may well be Jonsi's most incredible performance on record. The vocals are ridiculously beautiful.
He sings with so much emotion. seeing them live was one of the best moments of my life
The climax starting at 5:56 is so perfect; the vocals are absolutely beautiful.
This is what humans are capable of with art. This is transcendent.
the Japanese are so silent when they listen to music. they do it right.
They're the best.
We appreciate you from all over the world ❤️

Omg, that's amazing. I'm so happy for you but also jealous... :)
I did see this live in Manchester, the climax left me in absolute tears
Exactly, thats why posting about it is not really worth. What you feel is meant to be felt alone. Enjoy sister.
It upsets me that only under 9,000 people have heard such beauty through a live performance... incredible Jónsi

je vous écoute et me laisse envahir par mes émotions....et je pleure
Thats right. I think that the highest he went ever in a song.
