Thank you for bringing us these messages. The fear mongering has us believing that so much of our Whole Foods are bad for us. And honestly the stress from worrying about all of the food shaming and avoidance is probably more damaging. ❤️
My pleasure, Shawna! Yes, I wholeheartedly agree. Less stress, shame, worry, and avoidance; more ease, delight, freedom, and pleasure. Food is meant to be enjoyed!
Thank you for this video. I am back to watching your videos after sadly going through a second loss. This video was really helpful and I am someone who took in some of this information and did get out off food but I got pregnant twice by eating what I want so no more avoiding certain foods for me!
Hello from India. 🖐 Since following you for a month, I have to say that I thoroughly enjoy every session. Thank you for the advice and your serene smile; I adore it.😊
I just LOVE your kind and fun approach to sharing this information so much 🙏 THANK YOU 💖I have a question around soy and sperm.... I recently read on WebMD that soy is more specially detrimental to quality / amount of sperm - I can't find much more info on this, except "don't consume in excessive amounts".... But not really sure what "excessive" is? Do you have any thoughts around this one? 😅 I will be continuing to eat soy though 🥰 x
Hi Helen! I'm not at all a male fertility nutrition expert so I defer to Lauren Manaker, MS, RDN on this one. Here's a snippet of what she had to say about soy in her book, Fueling Male Fertility: "I recommend a moderate consumption if a man typically enjoys these foods since, as mentioned previously, the research is inconclusive. I would not make a point to incorporate these foods, but total elimination does not appear to be necessary." What exactly is moderate? Depends on where you look. So helpful, I know! Lol. I've seen ≤1-2 servings of soy/ day and ≤1-2 servings of soy/ week. So somewhere between there. Anyhow, this review article came out after Lauren's book was published. Might have some insight to offer you: www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0890623820302926?via%3Dihub Hope this helps!
Hi there! Carbohydrates don’t cause insulin resistance and even if someone has insulin resistance, their body still needs carbs. The goal is to balance carb-rich foods with protein, fat, and fiber-rich foods. There’s no need to avoid carbs or label them as bad. Hope that helps!
Thanks for watching! Let me know in the comments below some of the fertility food myths you've heard or read.
