Hello, I hope you are doing well. My problem is that, according to my medical report, both of my ovaries are no longer functioning, which has caused my menstrual cycle to stop. I am also experiencing hormonal imbalance. My last menstrual period was in 2018, and I haven't taken any medication for it. Unfortunately, after this health issue, my husband remarried and divorced me. I have undergone medical treatment, but I am still facing issues with my ovaries and hormonal imbalance. I am now looking for ways to improve my ovarian health. Could you please suggest some yoga practices that might help?"

Having my first at 40 and second at 42. I have a stable, solid career, married to a wonderful, supportive man. I have the means, life experience, and maturity to have kids than when I was in my 20’s.

This video got me in tears, the feeling of being validate for my journey, knowing others are hoing through or went through a similar one, its definitely feels as act of compassion for me - common humanity it is ( one of the Self-compassion component after all 😍).
Thank you Kendra for creating this, its definitely not a topic that is out there if at all. Im turning 46 next month, had a miscarriage on July 2022, i started to feel ready "very late" only after i addressed my childhood trauma (Attachment trauma) and since then it is a whole journey, not an easy one but worth it as im maturing more and more every year, so is my relationship with my husband. Same as i could not get married a momen earlier, i know that our baby will also come in the right timing for all of us, him, me, my husband and our family 🙏❤

This is incredibly encouraging for me to hear. I am 35 and coming off a decade and a half of trauma and recovering from chronic illness. I want a child more than anything, but I know that I would have never been able to be emotionally present for my child if I had one earlier. Hearing these testimonials from others gives me hope that the waiting will be worth it. I already feel like such a different person from what I was in my 20s. I don't like the idea of being older and having kids, but I do see how I am much more stable now.

I'm so happy you found it encouraging. And I'm happy to hear you're feeling more stable now. You and your future family are so fortunate to have that stability. I'm rooting for you!

It feels sooo nice to not feel alone with the idea of having children later in life with the same valid reasons, making sure we have worked on our trauma, be financially secure, have a very strong stable loving relationship with my partner and to really have researched how to be a conscious parent. I don’t think it’s fair how society puts a lot of fear and shame on us women that we ‘should’ have kids by a certain age, and not consider the biggest most important responsibility it takes to raise a conscious child

I love the intentionality that you’re approaching becoming a parent with. Thank you so much for sharing.

LOVE this! This was really inspiring. Thank you Kendra! Another benefit that came to me and goes into my original comment is being more connected with my body now, where in my 20's and even early 30's I felt disassociated with my body and I feel this will help me connect with my baby in the future when I do get pregnant and help with childbirth and parenting since I'm listening to my body's wisdom now. And I can listen to those around me from a deep and genuine space as well. Yoga and other gentle practices like Qigong have really helped with this too ontop of somatic therapy etc.❤

I'll be 36 soon and single. All I want right now is a baby, I don't want to date and get put through the ringer again. I sort of always knew I would be an older mom since my mom was also 36 when she had me. But for now this dream of mine feels so far away and it hurts. I'm trying to use my time constructively (travelling, school, work, therapy, engaging in hobbies) while also considering how to integrate my life with a baby. I'm hoping by being an older mom I'll be a little more well-rounded and feel less like I've been deprived of something like some younger women feel.

Life happens… We had our lil one at 18 but I am in a completely different place in life at almost 29. I feel more of a woman just settling into this goddess energy that wasn’t there yet when I was younger.
