Dude it looks like a freaking golf course. I'm proud of you and how it turned out. Your such a wonderful inspiration, it inspired me to start my lawn care company for next year. Thanks for being the True Man Of GOD you are Pete. You rock and you know ( I miss that music brother 😄) Tell Mike I said, "You killing Da whole neighborhood brother." LOL.
Currently mine is having inconsistency. Calibration then it's suppose to spray 15 then 14ft. It does 15. Then 11. I tried everything. I even put prv 40psi cause I only need 20ft max. And calibration isn't correct. It flucuates alot when spraying
Just had the irrigreen installed. I’m happy so far. I just wish there was some sort of option for turning down the pressure when seeding a new lawn. Way too much pressure that comes from the jets
I live on a corner in the middle of urban squaresville USA and boy I sure would be happy installing a variable flute head like this if it meant no longer watering sidewalk and streets.
Was just wondering why no one had thought of this...and voila...the interweb brings your video to me. I am trying to water a small rectangular yard and I think I can do it with this system with just one head placed at the corner (corner so it doesn't get in my kids way and requires least amount of digging and piping).
Sorry Pete I was on the facebook post pertaining to this. I saw the convo that jerk was telling you. I swear people have nothing else better to do. I hope its been resolved.
Hey Pete, First off I'm a huge fan of your content and more importantly your philosophy towards life and treatment of your fellow man. Now onto my thoughts on irrigreen and the system, and some ideas I've had about it all. I've been really interested in setting up a fertigation system here, because we have very alkaline soil in very high PH water. Basically the end goal is to run a fertigation system that uses treated water with a lower PH instead of continually just dumping more and more high PH water and compounding the issue. Step 2 of that system plan is then to basically use an ez-flo fertigation system and spoon feed my lawn some acidifying fertilizer every time I water. My biggest concern and roadblock so far has been that I have a kid and dogs so I don't want to run a fertigation system if I'm going to be soaking the side of my house, or kids toys or the patio. So on that note, do you think irrigreen sprinkler heads are accurate and consistent enough that a fertigation system in smaller areas like lawns is now possible ? Because we can program the heads to dial back pressure selectively around areas we don't want fertilizer building up, I feel like irrigreen and a fertigation system could possibly be that ultimate setup, but it all depends on how accurate and reliable it is.
I started to put this out there this morning, & now I’m led to do so, Several years ago I received a phone call and was asked if this is John Doe, I say YES & they hang up!! Next day I go to the BANK 🏦, all of my money gone! Thankfully the bank reimbursed me after (3) days… Be careful out here Lawn care Community.
So what is the difference, I thought usually irrigation overlaps each other to ensure complete coverage??? And when is the baseball field going to be ready to play??? Spring training is around the corner LOL
irrigreen...interesting, with out even seeing it i think i know how it does all this, with pressure control valves.....how many hours are those valves and valve controllers, and valve mechanisms rated for? how much does it cot to replace each one of those parts individually? how much does it cost to replace those parts as a kit or do you have to replace the whole head and what is the cost per head per type of head unit?
Sorry to hear about the attack on your account, Pete. Hope you are able to fully recover. I’ll share a saying I heard years ago….”half the world gets up every day to screw the other half out of their money.”
I am having an irrigation system put in next week. I asked the installer about these after seeing your prior video. They said they tried them for a bit but quickly ditched them. They said they were a nightmare to set up and maintain. They said the reliability isn't there (yet). Hopefully your results are better.
FWIW, this would have been a really attractive option for me because I am on municipal water and my county will not sub-meter for irrigation, so we pay full sewer on irrigation water. A system that saves on water would pay for itself.
If they were using the old version of the app I can see where they would say it’s difficult. Especially if they had Android. All that has been upgraded. Personally I don’t know why a homeowner would want the install company to have control of their app. That would in fact be a nightmare if they had to keep coming out to move a digital point on the app if the homeowner asked.
@@thegreybeeexperience could be. They made it sounds like it was more mechanical/electrical type issues than app issues, but maybe they didn't explain it well or maybe I misunderstood.
@@socomon69 oh I see. The first version of the head did have issues with the fittings on the bottom. That’s been cleared up and redesigned. I have the new heads in my yard and they’re fantastic!
It's okay brother, All Mighty YHVH gave us emotions, anger is one of them. You go ahead and express yourself. I give you permission. 👍 Some dot from India scammed my mom, and luckily her bank was able to catch it before damage was done. She was angry. I'm angry. And it's okay to express it.
I do not have social media but make sure you enable 2FA (Two factor authentication) that does NOT use your phone number. If you can, Choose an application like Authy and NOT Google authenticator.
Hey Pete, do you know if this irrigation system is available here in Australia? I’ve tried contacting them via their web site som time ago when you first installed it into your plot there, but no reply. So, if there’s anyone from Irrigreen reading this please let me know who to contact. Cheers Darren
hows the install cost compared to traditional systems? i'm fine with the heads costing more since there are fewer heads and pipe in theory, but I have around 7200 square feet of bermuda. One side of my house is super long and narrow, like 75 x 12 feet. I also have a few slopes here and there, and I know the drops are bigger, but it looks like in the video there may be dead spots in between where the different bands of heavy drops are falling? Really interesting system though and hoping to get it installed in my area soon. Cheapest person I found in Charlotte so far quoted me $4500, but that was pre-Covid before materials went up. He was "cheapest," but he's been in business for 25 years and has good reviews so i'm assuming he has his stuff together. Really wish you were in my area!!
Interesting System - I would think those heavy water streams are good for established and sodded lawns - doesn't seem like a great solution if you are overseeding bare dirt. That plus the cost makes it a deal-breaker for me.
My son started basketball this week and it reminded me of your coaching speech from years ago. Keep making a difference in people's lives.
That new irrigation system simply is amazing. I'm planning on installing this in the spring.
Those systems are so cool. I got to play with one. Hope your family is still doing well. We have been praying for all of you.

I am so pumped to get my Irrigreen system installed this next spring! Thanks for the update on yours Pete. 👍
How has that system been working for you. I have been in debate based on terrible customer some have complained about
It really sucks that I can only like this once. This is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time.
I just had this system installed!
It is outstanding and works great! Love the app so easy to use ! No more watering my sidewalk and walkways! 😍
I am tempted but worried about reliability? Any issues you have come across? Would you still recommend it?

@@nbobinger no problems at all! Very happy with it! It cost more but you save that with a lower water bill. The app is outstanding as well.
The Irrigreen system is really cool. One day I hope to add it to my yard. Great video Pete! 👍🏼
Regardless of this actual brand of heads.
Just having irrigation on your phone is an amazing thing. Thanks Pete 👊🏼

Man, that is slick!
Hey Pete. Hope you're doing well. My Irrigreen system is on the way. I just ordered it today.
Did you install it yet? I am so tempted but worried about reliability
What an AWESOME option. One question: Do you just hook the water line up to your outside faucet?
I can see this would be perfect for a baseball field
this technology is amazing. would love to replace my Hunter setup with this one day...
Hey Pete love the videos! I got a question, what privacy trees do you have behind your out building?
I was quoted $4k for 8 zones if I remember correctly. I know it saves on water, but that's insane. It's definitely a pass for me.
How many heads?
@@AW-yv9sq each zone is a head. The controller is around $1.5k itself.
@@ColeSpolaric oh right I was thinking old school zones. Thanks
@@AdmiralTwitchy The controller with one head starts at $1873.
I agree, rip off
Simple solution to me would seem to just raise the head up about an inch or two in turn making the lower streams not so aggressive
Pretty cool system Pete!
Pete you should be getting some rain today :) storms just passed me last night meaning they'll hit you in the next 24 hours. Gonna be windy!
YES!!! We need it BADLY!!!
What sort of pressure are you getting off your well? I’m only able to get about 45 PSI and most irrigation companies won’t even quote me a system

I'm guessing only one sprinkler head will run at a time? Looks like it uses a lot of pressure/flow?
When are they going to offer the system above ground. What I imagine is similar to your jumbo sprinkler but with their system. Hope this makes sense.
There are above ground systems that do this already.
Sorry to hear about the attack on your account, Pete. Hope you are able to fully recover.

Seeing how much water those put out how long would you have to run them? like 5-10 minutes

Good question
How does the system compensate for changes in water pressure? 💦

@@robtadla I’ll do a price comparison video to a traditional system. That will be a good video to do!
That is fantastic idea. 👏
It’s not much more than a hunter pop up system! Old school!
Pete, once programed, do all of the heads(zones) run at once, simultaneously? OR is it one by one?
One by one
16:00 mark, that is traditional irrigation and NOT irrigreen, correct?

Is the app skip watering due weather conditions, wind etc?
Have you measured the water output at different distances?

Cool, expensive, questionable customer service
Love it
This looks like a really uneven drop of water and looks as if it's just going to make a bunch of puddles in the yard. Skeptical on this one.
I’m super excited about it. I actually prefer the heavy droplet. Hopefully it works as good as I want it to.
How about a one year review?
Damn I had a very similar idea
Is the Irrigreen still holding up to your expectations?
Get a VPN!
I really like the idea of this but they quoted me over 8k for just the parts. Even if I did the install myself that is just too much.
This is very cool but I hate it's diy only I want a pro to put it in.
Its sad people are like that...
Way to expensive
That's a lot of water pushing out of it, I rather stick with Rain Bird
