- ER Doctor Jordan Wagner is back with doctor reacts to Daria medical scenes. Doctor Wagner, a real life emergency physician Daria reaction / real doctor reacts to Daria sarcastic moments, Daria illnesses, injuries, and medicine. Doctor Jordan Wagner watches and reacts to best of Daria funniest moments and tells us what is accurate and what is not in these best Daria moments.
Daria is an American adult animated sitcom created by Glenn Eichler and Susie Lewis Lynn for MTV. It is a spin-off of Mike Judge's earlier animated series, Beavis and Butt-Head, in which Daria appeared as a recurring character. Mike Judge is also the creator of King of the Hill. Daria Morgendorffer, Jane Lane, Trent Lane, Brittany Taylor, Jodie Landon, Quinn Morgendorffer, Jake Morgendorffer, and Helen Morgendorffer navigate their fair share of injuries, doctor’s appointments with Dr. Davidson and Dr. Shar, and prescriptions, but the accuracy of this Daria compilation is questionable, to say the least. Get ready for some Daria MTV nostalgia even though a Daria reboot might be in the works. Today Doctor Wagner, a real life emergency physician from Experts React on Gamology will be watching and reacting to Daria funny moments, Daria greatest moments, and the most crazy medical moments in the history of Daria tv series for the first time. Do you watch Daria full episodes? If you want Dr. Jordan Wagner to continue making this doctor reaction series please give this video a like and leave a comment on which TV show or medical memes or just funny memes you'd like for him to review next.
Daria Morgendorffer relies on her wit and her best friend Jane to brave her superficial peers at Lawndale High, her popular sister Quinn, her frazzled parents, and the bleakness of suburbia. The people of Lawndale just don't get Daria Morgendorffer. Brainy, sardonic Daria Morgendorffer tries to fly under the radar at Lawndale High School, and she's doing a pretty good job of it: Her self-esteem teacher can't even remember her name. Not that low self-esteem is a problem for Daria, who explains that 'I have low esteem for everyone else'. Frankly, she couldn't care less about the airheads in the 'in' crowd, like her sister, Quinn, or cheerleader Brittany. At least best friend Jane Lane is readily available any time Daria needs a break from all the clueless masses around them.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force
30 Rock/Dr. Leo Spaceman
Regular show and the Cartoon Network show Clarence and the looney tunes show
It would be cool to see some reactions to Supernatural! Some wild stuff happens on there
Can you do Aqua Teen Hunger Force?
Daria WAS my 90's and I still love it even today. I'm a total Daria.
Glad you liked it! What was your favorite Daria medical scene?
Jake pops a blood vessel in his eye!
I used to watch this when it aired, but was never fully certain of the time. MTV didn’t seem consistent, so the last few seasons I missed and only saw those scattered. Going on 41 this year. I was definitely the right age for that show. :-)
@@ssjup81 I just turned 41 two days ago myself. :)
I think is cute how he shows genuine concern for the cartoon characters😊
I was a little sad we didn't see the scene where Daria's father eats bad sushi and had a centipede grow in his throat!
Or the Scene where Jake pops a blood vessel in his eye. 👀 I also 💡 it was a double wide tape worm.... Or something. Gross. The funny part was Him drinking 🍹 lots of alcohol to try to kill the parasite.
Hmm.. well if he's not too busy and is interested...Part 2 of Daria medical scenes maybe.
@@fishpond88 there's people up here who believe they drink enough to kill the parasites
@@fishpond88 "ITS ALSO A DOUBLE WIDE TAPE WORM, MEANING I AM DOUBLE RIGHT"
@@georgemacaroni I was correct it was a double wide tape worm? Thank you. Still gross. Ew. I hope your having a safe day.
IMO Daria was more enjoyable than Beavis and Butthead so thank you so much for reacting to this show! This video makes me want to binge watch it again lol
Daria was definitely more relatable because I also felt alienated as teenager, because I had an advanced vocabulary, I overthought things, and I didn’t get diagnosed with anxiety and depression until I was 16
@@resplndnt I didn't ask for your life story.
@@resplndnt The problem with Daria is that it's not always a good watch. Hits too close to home for a lot of people. Beavis and Butt-Head is ultimately better because if you're having a shitty day, or someone special you care about dies, they're the ones you turn to. Their dumb hilarity is perfect for any occasion, and can easily cheer you up. Laurel and Hardy got people through the depression in the 30s...same logic.
@@brandonwaugh5109 you got problems.
I love Daria! I have all the dvds. I just subscribed the other day and my bell works
Can you explain Mr. DeMartino eye bulging?! His eye would always pop out and looks like he was about to have a coronary
As I understand it, that bulging eye was a glass one.
Still, feel free to prove me wrong. ^_^
Aww i really hoped the dad’s heart attack episode was going to be here haha.
First of all thanks for covering this. I was curious to see if this cartoon handled some realism. Second at 5:21. I always thought it was a clever Aesop, because you notice that the suggestions the surgeon put on Quinn's picture, show that she's very narcissistic and manipulative. I'm so so on plastic surgeons because unless they were repairing a damaged face, I don't consider them true doctors and many of the ones doing it for beautification and cosmetic purposes like many other people, have their own standards of what is considered beautiful. In the case of this surgeon, she thinks Quinn is cute, but manipulates her into thinking she's not truly beautiful, unless she looks more like her. In that same scene, she tries that stuff on Daria, only she's low-key saying Daria isn't beautiful unless she looks more like Quinn, which in turn is just a stepping stone into looking more like the surgeon.
This notification popped up while I was watching Daria lol.
Haha love it! What's your favorite Daria episode?
Still love the Daria I think there's more Daria health episodes in there you got to look
@Doctor ER please do star trek the next generation!
There's a lot of medical scenes in the "Cow and Chicken" and the "I am Weasel". Can you react to them? Thank you! 😊

Nucular libary
This was awesome

Yes, do react to the 'Granny' horror game where this crazy zombie grandma beats you with a bat!!!
Sad that this doctor didn't mention what stress is. IT is FEAR. You have to learn to overcome your fears. Loving yourself makes a whole difference. I love and approve of myself. What you think is what you become.
Beavis and Butthead was too dumb for me....
Yet I loved Daria
Jane taking a photo lmao
Aqua Teen Hunger Force, as hilariously stupid as it is, has a few episodes that feature medical stuff. Total Re-Carl and Super Model feature some wacky surgeries and medical scenarios, the beginning of Moonajuana and the end of Laser Lenses have some medical procedure talk, and Party All the Time is a suddenly very serious episode about a character dealing with cancer.
You should do The Venture Bros! I don't want to give spoilers, but they experience some ~unique~ medical situations.
Hey uh I used to eat playdoe when I was younger like when I was 2 and 3 I’m just wondering if it has any long term effects? Just curious
If borat has taught me anything it's that plastic surgeons are creeps.

Daria, Beavis and Butt-Head, and King of the Hill are such classics! This react video was hilarious! Keep it up, doc!!
Glad you liked it! What was your favorite Daria medical scene?
@@DoctorER the part where the doctor asks to speak to Daria alone and it turns out he knew she just needed a break from her family. That was really awesome of him.
Is there a king on the hill one?!?! I gotta find it
@@Nothingatall1984 Haha yes! ua-cam.com/video/yT-iBi-yL2k/v-deo.html
never watched beavis and butt-head they look creepy af
I love the doctor admitting to Daria that he has no idea. To a patient like Daria, this shows honesty and respect, as telling her it gets better would be a lie and Daria respects a straight answer.
"What could be giving you anxiety sweetie?"
"Um lets see. Every aspect of my life."
Welcome to my life.
Literally everyone in high school be like:
It only gets worse after highschool
Oooooooo. Poor Daria. But mood
I felt that deep in my soul.
Bummed that you didn't show Jake having a heart attack and screaming, "Mom's gonna miss the guacamole!" I still think of that scene everytime I see guacamole
Doctor ER will reacts to “Celebrity Deathmatch”'s Injuried and Deaths. Please.
What's it about?
@@DoctorER Celebrity Deathmatch was a stop-motion claymated series created by Eric Fogel for MTV. The series depicted various celebritied engaging in highly stylized profesional wrestling matches. The series was known for its large amount of gory violence, including combatants employing different abilities and weapons to deliver particularly brutal attacks, resulting in exaggerated physical injuries.
I used to love that show! XD they even have episodes with medical themes, like the cast of ER in a three way brawl!

Please say "I'll allow it" when you decide to do it.
@@JB95Official - The 2nd greatest MTV show only to Jackass.
Great to see you reacting to Daria medical moments.
The series is full of amusing scenes, there should be a Part 2!
- Teachings of Don Jake (burst blood vessels, "glitter berries")
- Jake of Hearts (Jake's heart attack)
- My Night at Daria's (Jake's GROSS sushi parasite)
- Of Human Bonding (end result of Tiffany's papaya jojoba overnight facial mask)
You missed the punchline for 4:19, tight after the cut he says "woah! Medical emergency... I understand."
Yeah that part was funny. And after they go out he's like "It's gonnaa bee okaayy" to Daria
Is there any plans on reacting to "Cells At Work"? If not I heavily recommend it. It's more of an educational show then a comedy though.
Yup! Might already be in the works!
The darker ones are more adult, real.
Lmao. When you said, "Eww Gross" with a voice changer, I died.
YES DARIA MEDICAL SCENES!!!
Daria was funny! What was your favorite medical scene from Daria?
@@DoctorER my favorite medical scene is where Daria answered her dad's question about anxiety. "Hmm Let's see. Every aspect of my life" 🤣🤣
@@DoctorER Later In that Chocolate bar seen. Thay actually refused to sell her any chocolate. She gets mad. She also pops up later on in the season. One of my favorite episodes is where Jake get so stressed out he popped a blood vessel in his eye. 👀 His eyes start to heal once he is able to relax.
Daria is actually on the table for a reboot. mostly just studio talk. but it could happen if Mike Judge has his way.
Love Mike Judge's shows! That could be fun. Maybe I'll do a part 2 if there's a Daria reboot!
If I'm not mistaken, Mike Judge doesn't own that show, only the Daria character. The only involvement he had in Daria was giving the people who worked on that show permission to use the Daria character. I would've liked it if Mike Judge did put Daria in his 2011 revival though.
Actually, the last time I checked, the 'reboot' (which was going to replace Jane with Jodie) was turned into a spin-off following Jodie's adult life in an office environment.
We'll see how it turns out. ^_^
**crosses an official sequel series following Daria (and other characters) during her (and Jane's) college years off his list**
(I'm sure fellow fans of the series have that covered) ^_^
Daria did appear on Beavis and Butt-Head Do The Universe, so anything is possible.
@@ChainsawGenieit's now a movie 😊
Daria was a spin-off of Beavus and Butthead? How did I not know that? I've loved Daria for decades. Really great show.
She was in Bevis and Butthead show.
Other than Daria being an original character from Beavis and Butthead there is no link between both show. I think they take a character from that show and called it a "Spin-off'' to help promote it when B&BH was highly popular. The whole creative process behind Daria was to make it his own show and they succeed.
I had kind of an "unconventional" childhood, and I was watching Beavis and Butthead after midnight at 3-5 years old, and Child's Play was my favorite movie besides The Wizard of Oz. Probably why I ended up a little twisted, among many other factors. But I legit was today years old when I found out Daria was a spin off of sorts. Crazy to think, I was watching these shows at that age. 🤷🏻♀️ Neglect/abandonment, eh? Rant over.
I once was diagnosed with emotional rash. For some time, every time I laughed, felt sad or angry, the rash would appear within seconds on my whole body... I wished my life was boring but my classmate couldn’t stop trying to make me laugh.
I believe it was some psychosomatic reaction because I got no treatment. The doctor told me to eat less delicatessen (dried/smoked meat received during holidays) and it disappeared within a few days.
"Stress can create lots of problems" I know that for certain. My stress nearly boiled my brain by making my temp 104 and my blood pressure super high
As an autistic woman who has trouble processing audio often, thank you so much for adding subtitles in your videos!
That has nothing to do with being autistic though so it was unnecessary to mention
@@hendrikjansen7130 It might be part of how her autism effects her. Don’t be mean.

@@hendrikjansen7130 it did come off as mean or at the least ignorant and no I'm not sensitive I will say I have audio issues as someone who's autistic but not like that rather it's a sensory overload groups and loud noises are hard to deal with but yes autism and everything else affects people differently

I used to love this show! Would love to see you react to Chicago Med, I've been watching a ton of clips lately and I'm loving it
My entire family loves Daria. It was one of those cartoons that played a little later after school but before the news and the usual soap operas. One of the few cartoons we watched together as a family. Mum loved it the most.
Why not get her a Daria made tee-shirt.
Can you review Chicago Fire and Chicago Med? My favorite two series along with Chicago P.D.

I absolutely love Daria, it was a great show.
I loved it! What was your favorite Daria medical scene?
@@DoctorER probably the scene with Dr. Shar when Quinn wants a nose job.
I liked how despite being an obviously comedic scene, it was also a not so subtle shot at people like Shar that take advantage of people that are easily talked into getting things they don't need, especially teenagers.

Can you review Metalopcolypse, an Adult Swim cartoon with 4 heavy-metal band members who have some incredible durability when things are proven to the audience that SHOULD have killed them. Pretty awesome show if you're getting into strong music.
I don't recall any medical scenes in that show. And I'm pretty sure what you described would be the gore factor of the show, to be edgy and cool.

Depending on your insurance, some forms of plastic surgery are covered.
For instance if you lose 100lbs and have loose skin, it's considered 'life enhancing' instead of cosmetic. But if you get liposuction then it's cosmetic.
So if you want insurance to cover a tummy tuck you gotta do the hard work yourself :P

Jordan, if you need some more topics to talk about except shows/movies reactions, I propose to make a video: "Homemade remedies: helpful, doing nothing or harming?"
Stuff I had a touch with:
1) For sunburns and other non-severe burns I apply egg white (and everyone in my family applies egg white), which for me has this advantage over water, that it always cools down the area no matter if it's continuously applied or not. The other pro is that I can make gogol mogol (raw yolk mixed with sugar, still for some reason never gotten salmonella) while dealing with the burn.
2) When I was stung in a finger by a wasp when I was maybe 5 years old my grandma gave me a glass of vinegar and told me to stick the finger into that glass. Today I was also attacked by an insect (because I'm an idiot and when trying to catch a butterfly I accidentally caught bad boy), but I don't know if I was bitten or stung by a bee or wasp, but if it was bee and it STANG me, then my dad told me I'd have to dive that area into water mixed with baking soda.
3) When I get sore muscles, I'm told I have to move instead of laying down, because they say it's because of lactic acid and by moving I'm supposed to flush it out faster.
4) Probably this isn't supposed to be treatment, only in order to deal with pain, but when I get bitten by a mosquito I press down really hard with my fingernail on the area, so instead of irritating itching I have less irritating normal pain.
5) When I did something with my ankle between normal and sprained (I could feel the difference while having it set up correctly, with all-on sprained it'd hurt like hell when being set up) and I had to lay down for a while in home, my dad cut a slice of onion and bandaged it around my ankle, supposedly to prevent inflamation.
6) OK, this one I haven't tried (and I don't want unless I'm forced to), but in a XIXth century casual book a protagonist was wounded and in order to prevent an infection one of his mates chewed down moldy bread, spat it out mixed it with cobweb and applied it on a wound. What do you think about it?
Daria is my favorite show! Thank you for this!
That plastic surgery doctor wound up having all of her patients' new noses collapse...
Make of that what you will.

I mentioned recently that another episode to look at would be “Jake of Hearts”, which is where Daria’s father suffers a mild heart attack. Also “Daria Dance Party” has some medical things towards the end, including a busted jaw and a situation that could lead to hypothermia.
“The Teachings of Don Jake” for bush survival and stress related red eye; “Psycho Therapy” if you want to look into more mental health, “Of Human Bonding” for a hot air balloon crash, and “Fizz Ed” focuses on the overconsumption of carbonated beverages. Hope you enjoy.
My dad had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He was an avid runner and collapsed and died during a run. My dad was aware of his condition and took very good care of himself, but his heart just clocked out at some point. Because HCM is inheritable, I went to his cardiologist and asked just to be checked out, especially because I was having some funny feelings in *my* heart all of a sudden (shock, grief, anxiety, duh...), and needed some clarity on that front. The cool part was that one of the tests (ECG?) allowed me to see my own beating heart! Good news: no signs of HCM for me. I guess the PSA part of this comment is: if you have this disorder in you family, probably a good idea to mention it to your doctor.
(Note: my dad passed 14 years ago, no condolences are currently necessary, though I recognize the inclination. Interesting cardiology stories are absolutely welcome, though!)
I love Daria . I realized as I got older I related so much to her.
Do another Beavis & Butthead! There was an episode that Beavis got lice, scratched his head then his genitals, got lice in his pubic hair, then killed the pubic lice with a bug zapper.
I know it isnt a cartoon but it is a comedic/drama although it is put on by the cbc it is on acorn/amazon and is a period piece called the artful dective in the us and murdoch mysteries in canada but has many medicial things since the dective's love interest is the head of the morgue/doctor/psychologist at the local hospital and is quite outspoken since female dr's weren't common in the victorian period also it references old fashioned medical situations
I love the scenes where its so far from appropriate treatment that you're kinda just like "What the heeeck?" 😂😂
