Same incident happened with me . Before the operation hospital authority informed me that the estimated cost will be around Rs-250000rs . but , after surgery they handed me bill of Rs-362000 , as my sum insured of health was only Rs-300000 , I was forced to pay Rs 62000. Can you please guide me what i should do.please.

I don't though that done by every hospital... because in case of cashless insurance company provide mou tarrif list and that tarrif need to follow by hospital.... then just bouble bill is not possible. because insurance company block hospital in every section like investigation charges ..surgical package.... doctor charges.... and what about the customer? many of customer Come and said mam bill beda K dal do thoda muje bhi Mil jayega.

It's happening everywhere. The hospital that charges refresh cases on cghs rates same hospital a fortune for same treatment from non cghs patients.
But do you think Insurance Company ACTUALLY looks into this and take action? Because I've been a victim of this kind of scam.
Niva Bupa has blacklisted 150 hospitals just yesterday. They were doing this scam.
