My mom and her side of the family are from here. Always loved visiting my grandmother in Quitman! Beautiful small town. The Tea Room is my favorite restaurant in the town!
It’s not clear to me from viewing this what Ben & Erin are being asked to do in Quitman. Revitalization is surely needed in Quitman as evidenced in the deterioration shown. The episode summary seems to imply, erroneously if you ask me, that urban sprawl is to blame. The community seems conflicted somewhat about making changes. Some still want things kept as they are and some do not. Many people I know move from bustling cities to Quitman just because it is small and peaceful and untouched by modern times. The conflicted attitude can be seen in rejecting a Walmart store years ago.
