I'm going to do the Everest base camp trek in about two months... to get there we're going to the tenzing airport. It's safe to say I'm absolutely terrified
@@Top10Aviation Yh, Mabaruma Airstrip, Guyana, but I have to say, one plane fell off in 2011, no one was hurt tho 😊, plane made it back fine to Georgetown, had brake problems
Congonhas in São Paulo had to be lengthened bc it’s in the middle of the city and a plane crashed into a building after not being to stop in time. So now the runway ends on a platform above traffic. You can drive under it!
Honduras is high altitude at 3,300 ft.? Lubbock, Texas is 3,300. Amarillo is 3,600. Planes land safely every day in "high-altitude" Lubbock and Amarillo.
here's food for thought.. if amphibious aircaraft were reintroduces at some of the airports in this video.. those on the coast that is, then runways would not be needed- and taxiways could be constructed for the amphibious aircraft to taxi on once landed (much like hovercraft of old once did) would be better than short runways in challenging locations and those bisecting beaches and roadways.. another option would be VTOl comercial aircraft which would not need runways....
St. Martin airport isn't remotely dangerous. I've flown into and out of there 4 times. I've stood behind jets as they take off. It's exciting and impressive, but not dangerous. There are warnings all across the fence at the beach warning of "Danger" and "Jet Blast Area". I have videos of landings and standing in the jet blast on my channel. The woman who died there tripped over a concrete barrier in the middle of the street and hit her head, directly in front of the warning signs.
Atoifi Airport in Solomon Islands in the pacific is one of the most dangerous Airstrip in the world that also needs to include in the top 10 and yet to discovered..
I think History channel slso talked about a harrowing airport in Hong Kong, don't know if it is still in use. It literally forces airplanes to pass rushing roof tops, and the roadway is so small, one slip and your aircraft ends up in the waters of Victoria Harbor.

McMurdo - NZIR / QAI Gibraltar International Airport - GIB Princess Juliana - TNCM Madeira - FCN / LPMA Juancho E Yrausquin - SAB / TNCS Greenland - SFJ Chamonix/Mont Blanc - XCF Faro International - PBH Tenzing Everest - LUA
When the first 3 seconds, and the very first frame of the video is a woman in a bikini, I wonder if that was to make people stay. I've heard that plenty of people click away in just a few seconds if the video doesn't hook them. I hope this works for you.
The Juancho E Yrausquin Airport should have been included in this because it is the shortest runway in the world and at both ends are 400ft cliffs into the sea
How are you very Underrated with these contents
Hahah I don't know! However, I'm already greatful for what I've achieved so far with the channel 🙏🏼
Looking forward to the next step though 📈

Didn't know that one 👍🏼 where exactly is it situated?
" SANTOS DUMOND " in RIO DE JANEIRO ( BRAZIL ) 🙂
There's UA-cam videos about it
One Airstrip in my country is about 1,221 ft longer than the world's shortest runway
Is it used by medium sized commercial aircraft as well?

There Is An Airport In China On Top Of A Cliff With Sheer Drops At Both Ends (Dont Know The Name)
gisborne deserves to be in this

Does anybody realize some of the airports in this video are used in roblox😂😂😂
My vote goes to Lukla
Princess Juliana Airport isn’t that dangerous. only one death has happened there and it’s relatively safe, people are overreacting these days.
The Juancho E Yrausquin Airport should have been included in this because it is the shortest runway in the world and at both ends are 400ft cliffs into the sea
