2016 sees the 40th anniversary of the entry into the UK pop charts of “Little Does She Know” by The KURSAAL FLYERS.
To celebrate this event singer PAUL SHUTTLEWORTH and Pedal Steel virtuoso VIC COLLINS, both from the original Kursaal’s line-up have recorded a brand new version of this classic, with their new band The UGLY GUYS.
The Ugly Guys are best known for their electric Country Rock but for this version they have gone for an acoustic bluegrass feel entirely different from the original.
The UGLY GUYS are: Bob Clouter-drums, Vic Collins-acoustic flatpicking guitar, dobro and vocal, Andy Farrell-upright “doghouse” bass, Steve Oliver-mandolin,banjo and vocal and Paul Shuttleworth-lead vocal.
