Good evening. I was fortunate to enjoy Tamiya armor kits through the 1970's and on. I just aquired a Saladin armor car that will be a fun build. I love how these kits go together. One item sets these kits from other lines. The figures are great. Though back then I would build just about any armor kit I could get. Monogram's 1/32 kits were nice. My favorite was Bandai's 1/48. These were super detailed with interiors. Was a great time to be in our hobby.
Nice looking build. I love these old Tamiya kits, i've just bought their StuG.IV from 1975 and it looks a beauty and i've got my eye on a few more of their vintage kits. 👍
Nice looking build. The first part that you didn't know what it was was the Jack. Tge second part is the cradle for the antenna when it's in its down position.
Nice build and weathering. I've just finished building and ran into the same issues as you ie turret hatch and fitting the hulls together. A great kit all in all that can be finished many different ways. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦.
I had the same problems with the turret I thought it was just me and the luck of the draw but now I'm not the only one I feel better I was so close to binning the whole.kit

Many of the original Tamiya kits came out in a motorized version and the same lower hull was put in the non-motorized version as well.

Cool
5:49 i can see i have the same scratches at the bottom of the model, around the pin where the plastic is injected. I think the moulds are scratched
Unluckily, my kit is german imported…afrika corps decal removed and censored from the instructions manual
How many pigments u use for this tank?
Two pigments, a dark Brown and a Black, thank's for taking an interest..
What is it that you use for weathering?
Crushed artist Pastels for the powders and an 80/20 mix of water and Dark Brown acrylic paint for the wash.
@@pfsmodellingprojects ok thanks 👍
