Momo's arcs are really important to me, because even though I've never been concerned with academics, I was always built up as smart and emotionally strong despite my low scores in things like math. I was also heavily built up in my writing, especially. My mom expected me to be the next JK Rowling. But during that kind of build up, I was also juggling the trauma of different kinds of childhood abuse from several members of my family, severe bullying, undiagnosed and untreated mental illness. My writing and my (extremely emotionally abusive) mother were the only things that kept me grounded. In my second year of college, a semester after I'd effortlessly achieved a 3.8 GPA and was thriving with a full social group, committed relationship, and a developing writing talent, it all came crashing down. The relationship imploded, my mom died, and some worse things happened after that. I lost my entire social group and the respect of my teacher and peers when I couldn't finish my writing class. Due to my sexuality and without my mom to buffer the homophobia, I had to move out of my house to avoid being kicked out. Then I had to move again because of the toxic person I'd moved in with. It's taken five years to finally overcome this and start writing again, from my own voice and not my mother's. And what helped me get started again was seeing Momo and Todoroki (due to his abuse story) overcome their trials in a way that was realistic and visual to me. Horikoshi remains one of my favorite writers, because his characters resonate so deeply with my own experiences. I really love how well you put this video together, and Momo is my second favorite character.
Not to mention rowling was extremly lucky, and honestly didnt deserve it how she crushes her own fanbase,to that . Do whatever, and positive, may be that something to adress. Just glad youare ok, its tough. And yes momo is treally relatable in her anxiety. And great. Shoto is good too.
Im so happy for ya :'3 It really is very generous when fictional characters have realistic backstories, it helps out alot of people who are struggling the same way and seeing how they overcome their problems alot of people can find their way out too. It's so wholesome :'3 I love it when writers try to make realistic backstories of characters instead of giving them an unrealistic but interesting fantasy backstory (which isn't bad, I'm just stating that I love it more when it's realistic)
Theory: Momo can just straight up copy several quirks. Take Tetsutetsu, who just creates a layer of steel over his body, a material Momo could make with ease and also cover her entire body with. Then take Bakugo's Explosion quirk, which is literally just nitroglycerin being produced by the body, she's already shown that she can create explosive substances with her cannons. And she wouldn't need to rely on sweat either. Then there's also Sero's Tape, literally just tape shot from the elbows, the elbow limitation being something easily removed by Momo's abilities.
Also, mina and/or todoroki's quirk. She can make anything except for living things. She just needs to figure out the substance of mina's quirk and then she can have mina's quirk :v
I really like Momo, she has what I consider the ultimate quirk and a heart of gold. Wealth, weapons, anything material is at her beck and call. She could have been the most dangerous of villains. Imagine if her intelect and abilities where at the dissposal of someone who where only in it for themselves and their own ambition. She is easily my favorite hero in this series.

The first time things didn't seem to work to keep Machia down with the student's efforts, she immediately followed up with the dynamite to sink Machia in the ground. She shown more growth in following up with her plans quicker than before with easily the highest pressure situation she has been in. Not saying it's the biggest thing ever, but there is some progress there. Plus her plan will probably work as far as slowing Machia down when the plot needs it (just didn't happen immediately since it would be way too easy if it did). lol
Momo's hero name is so terrible that it's brilliant. "Creati" not only broadcasts that her quirk involves creating things, but the extremely uncreative name also broadcasts Momo's biggest weakness, her lack of creativity, to her enemies. She's always defaulting to cannons, shields, and of course, a fucking stick. It's clear that Horikoshi actually thought of Momo's flaws and had them inform her decision making, like when it came to naming herself.
People really sleep on Momo. She’s probably the only person in the world with the potential to come even close to deku’s full power. Her quirk is perfect for literally every situation besides combat, where it’s almost perfect. Her only problem is her lack of confidence, which she is slowly but surely getting over. Spoiler alert for the latest manga arc for the rest of this Momo is easily the second most important hero involved in the current war. Without her creating the sedative, the entire country would be completely screwed right about now. Gigantomachia was unstoppable but she managed to stop him, with some help from kirishima, the most heroic of 1-a, with administering the sedative.

Honestly, one of my fave characters in the series - both from and her design and quirk to also her personality and character growth - she's pretty cool and glad she got her spot to debut in here. Although some people may not like her as much due to first impressions, I find that whenever she does get involved in something, she usually ends up leaving a strong impression on people and I feel she has a lot of depth to her, plus I do think her innocent yet honest demeanor is a plus to her, and also bless Horikoshi for thinking about her when creating her.

There is a little time bouncing but the only difficulty is remembering the code names for some people at first because class 1b is in this as well. But check it out! Shes literally my favorite character. Seeing how people hate on her is Atroucious. Shes Wealthy and yet humble Shes intelligent but shes not a know it all Shes strong, and she has a very useful OP quirk. She deserves more screen time and a better Arc. Like shes so useful and by far the best teammate one could hope for. She has low self esteem and she loves accompanying her Classmates. Not to mentioned shes disciplined. When she corrects her classmates, she doesnt do it to scoff at them or to degrate them but to rather help them. You can tell shes not arrogant with her intelligence when she was joyed to have her classmates go to her place to help them study, she even went as far as to making sure that they enjoyed the tea and more.
One thing that I find sad about Momo is the fact that her hero costume was considered so controversial. "why make a minor's costume so revealing?" Out of context, it sounds understandable of why people were mad. But, in context of what and how her quirk works, it makes sense of why so much of her skin has to be shown. People are either mad about logic, or they've never seen or read mha.
to add on to the GL thing she's kinda like a hybrid of John Stewart and Kyle Rayner cause John was an architect so all of his constructs are built all the way through down to the last screw and Kyle was an artist who used his creativity to make giant mechanical and stuff

So he takes his training as a Marine and his creativity and love of building things and combines them into his GL persona. At lest once it was stated that you can even see scaffolding and such in the split second it takes for his constructs to fully form.

I love Momo so much, I relate to her so much other than her wealth, she has my favorite quirk, I love her voice in both versions, and she's got wonderful characterization. I wish she wasn't as explicit but it doesn't make me love her as a character any less. You helped me appreciate her even more with this. Just read the latest chapters of the manga. Momo’s character development comes in full circle and I’m loving her more. I hope this character analysis gets UPDATED.. if thats even possible 😅
I'm a momo enjoyer. She attractive, adorable, but most importantly she has grown into an amazing character. Seeing the growth of someone with an amazing ability is just amazing.
I liked her more second read through enjoying her little quirky character and growth with todiroki at times. For disappointing girls would say Mina and invisible Girl. The other ones like tsuyu and uraka do a great job through the story with Momo. For guys most of class A like tape sugar and ball guy don't do much for me. The rest are great while class B had great designs but little to no actually use
I really wish Horikoshi would do more with Mina cause he hasn't done anything with her at all and we almost did recently but nope. Also what about Koda? Dudes a literal nobody, same with the tail guy.

She is dumb(IQ) but backstory shows she is afraid but pushes through I but nothing in the main story. Invisible girl does nothing either but that makes sense being forgetable being invisible. Phone jack I never really cared about. I like her a bit more after the festival opening eirs heart but that's pretty much it. Overall the group of class A isn't well done same as class B thier "rivals" I think it's because the Big 3 came in and basically made most of class A useless even when lumminion lost his quirk he was still a hero and the other two are great when we saw them in the eri arc.
@@ivanbluecool Sero wouldn't be allowed to use his quirk if he was a police or fireman, plus he's been a great support for USJ, Sports Festival, Joint Training, and Liberation War Sato outside of one loss has been good support for the class against Kurogiri and Team 4B, Mineta alone overcame Midnight while also supporting against the random USJ villains, Team 5B and Gigantomachia Mina never pushed on after Gigantomachia, we found out recently that ever since it was a traumatic experience for her that nearly got to her during the fight with Gigantomachia Class 1A isn't a main group The Big 3 made Class 1A useless because they're third years who have more experience as heroes
I always wondered what it would be like if Momo intern hero instructor was Miriko (aka bunny mama) I feel that her development would have went a whole totally different route because she would probably be more focus on building up her physical strength so she can actually pose a challenge to some people when it comes to one-on-one combat
That’s actually one of my headcannons. MANGA SPOILERS! If you know what happen to this current arc.. their is a possibility that she’ll want to focus on her physical strength and be under a combat hero. And I’m hoping that it would be Miruko
Features and assets aside, I'm intrigued by her personality and i really want to see her grow as a character, i want to see the yaoyorozu that has this strong faith in her peers and especially to herself, create treasurable bonds that transcends the romantic kind and succeed in being content with herself
Momo is my fav character and I love her! And in my opinion, Momo's quirk is the hardest one to control in class 1-A she needs to know the materials, statue and more of an object to create it in just like 5 seconds while the oponent is running towards her! She is really useful and very intelligent, and I even think that she is the next target from the leagle of Villains (spoiler alert) Twice was really important in the leagle of villains because he could double the drugs that made you lose your quirk to make more of those drugs. But after Twice's dead, the leagle couldnt make more of those drugs, and if they discover that there is a girl from U.A class 1-A who can create things (she can create liquids too) Momo could also create that drug! And thats why I think Momo would be the next target from leagle of villains, that would be her moment to be more on the screen as an important character, and maybe even in that scene, they might tell us Momo's backstory! because we dont know anything about her family, only that she is rich, and it seems very strange to me how a secondary character still doesnt have a backstory.. I hope that later on, Momo can level her quirk and do incredible things, for example she could do the explosions that Bakugou does if she only knew how are they made or Mina's acid. I don't know but I feel that she can do incredible things.. who knows..- she may create portals :D Its totally impossible but she could in the future qwq
Momo could probably have an advantage over small time villains if she learned to use different types of weaponry. Mastery would probably be easier, given her understanding of the weaponry on a molecular level. But in cases like the war arc, assuming she wants to be a major hero, she'd be better of dealing more with strategy, or support.
Her ability is beyond useful just imagine what you could do with it. Any of you keep practicing within you can even create things without even having to pay any attention Or maybe she can even take it a step further you never know.
She is my top waifu but not because her obvious reasons, I really like how she has to overcome her confidence issues and is so fucking smart I want to marry her ❤️
Her quirk always reminded me more of Firestorm, despite being transmutation rather than straight up creation both abilities require the user to know the chemical makeup of whatever object the user seeks to create.

It's interesting to see that female UA-camrs saying Hori didn't know how to draw female characters and so many traits were wasted and they didn't have enough arc to grow; on the other hand, male UA-camrs saying these female characters are well depicted and have good arc to grow.

I always thought of how she kind of reminded me a bit of Izumi from FMA. Slightly because of her hair, but also the quirk as well. I always thought there was some inspiration for her from that.
I personally have a bit of Gifted-child Burnout. I don't have enough of it to be what you'd probably think it is, but I did have a bit of it (or something similar) My whole life I was never taught how to handle stressful situations and I was praised heavily whenever I got anything better than a C. Since I never was taught how to handle certain information or events, I ended up very early on in what I think might've been depression. (I haven't gotten *that* checked out yet) I couldn't handle my only two friends leaving me, knowing the fact I was different from every one, my siblings hating me, my parents unable to relate to me, knowing everyone only talked to me out of pity, and so on. I felt so sad for so many years to the point where I didn't even feel sad anymore. It was normal for a 10 year old to feel this much intense grief back then. Right..? I think what broke me was either when I noticed I was different or when my only friends left me. I don't really remember anything from elementary school besides a few moments. ...We're five siblings who may or may not have burnt-out gifted child syndrome thing. Or that's just all the expectations that stressed us out and stunted our growth to the point we're not functional(?) adults. I like how realistic her burnout comes off as, it makes sense and makes it all the more better when you finally see her regain her lost confidence.
Honestly, one of my fave characters in the series - both from and her design and quirk to also her personality and character growth - she's pretty cool and glad she got her spot to debut in here. Although some people may not like her as much due to first impressions, I find that whenever she does get involved in something, she usually ends up leaving a strong impression on people and I feel she has a lot of depth to her, plus I do think her innocent yet honest demeanor is a plus to her, and also bless Horikoshi for thinking about her when creating her.

There is a little time bouncing but the only difficulty is remembering the code names for some people at first because class 1b is in this as well. But check it out! to add on to the GL thing she's kinda like a hybrid of John Stewart and Kyle Rayner cause John was an architect so all of his constructs are built all the way through down to the last screw and Kyle was an artist who used his creativity to make giant mechanical and stuff

So he takes his training as a Marine and his creativity and love of building things and combines them into his GL persona. At lest once it was stated that you can even see scaffolding and such in the split second it takes for his constructs to fully form.

I love Momo so much, I relate to her so much other than her wealth, she has my favorite quirk, I love her voice in both versions, and she's got wonderful characterization. I wish she wasn't as explicit but it doesn't make me love her as a character any less. You helped me appreciate her even more with this. Just read the latest chapters of the manga. Momo’s character development comes in full circle and I’m loving her more. I hope this character analysis gets UPDATED.. if thats even possible 😅

For disappointing girls would say Mina and invisible Girl. The other ones like tsuyu and uraka do a great job through the story with Momo.
For guys most of class A like tape sugar and ball guy don't do much for me. The rest are great while class B had great designs but little to no actually use
when you have a lot of characters is difficult to give everyone the same space.
I really wish Horikoshi would do more with Mina cause he hasn't done anything with her at all and we almost did recently but nope. Also what about Koda? Dudes a literal nobody, same with the tail guy.

Mina I wish she did more. She is dumb(IQ) but backstory shows she is afraid but pushes through I but nothing in the main story. Invisible girl does nothing either but that makes sense being forgetable being invisible. Phone jack I never really cared about. I like her a bit more after the festival opening eirs heart but that's pretty much it.
Overall the group of class A isn't well done same as class B thier "rivals"
I think it's because the Big 3 came in and basically made most of class A useless even when lumminion lost his quirk he was still a hero and the other two are great when we saw them in the eri arc.

Sato outside of one loss has been good support for the class against Kurogiri and Team 4B,
Mineta alone overcame Midnight while also supporting against the random USJ villains, Team 5B and Gigantomachia
Mina never pushed on after Gigantomachia, we found out recently that ever since it was a traumatic experience for her that nearly got to her during the fight with Gigantomachia

The Big 3 made Class 1A useless because they're third years who have more experience as heroes

I always wondered what it would be like if Momo intern hero instructor was Miriko (aka bunny mama) I feel that her development would have went a whole totally different route because she would probably be more focus on building up her physical strength so she can actually pose a challenge to some people when it comes to one-on-one combat

Momo is my fav character and I love her! And in my opinion, Momo's quirk is the hardest one to control in class 1-A she needs to know the materials, statue and more of an object to create it in just like 5 seconds while the oponent is running towards her! She is really useful and very intelligent, and I even think that she is the next target from the leagle of Villains

Twice was really important in the leagle of villains because he could double the drugs that made you lose your quirk to make more of those drugs. But after Twice's dead, the leagle couldnt make more of those drugs, and if they discover that there is a girl from U.A class 1-A who can create things (she can create liquids too) Momo could also create that drug! And thats why I think Momo would be the next target from leagle of villains, that would be her moment to be more on the screen as an important character, and maybe even in that scene, they might tell us Momo's backstory! because we dont know anything about her family, only that she is rich, and it seems very strange to me how a secondary character still doesnt have a backstory..
I hope that later on, Momo can level her quirk and do incredible things, for example she could do the explosions that Bakugou does if she only knew how are they made or Mina's acid. I don't know but I feel that she can do incredible things.. who knows..- she may create portals :D Its totally impossible but she could in the future qwq

Momo could probably have an advantage over small time villains if she learned to use different types of weaponry. Mastery would probably be easier, given her understanding of the weaponry on a molecular level. But in cases like the war arc, assuming she wants to be a major hero, she'd be better of dealing more with strategy, or support.

I don't have enough of it to be what you'd probably think it is, but I did have a bit of it (or something similar)
My whole life I was never taught how to handle stressful situations and I was praised heavily whenever I got anything better than a C. Since I never was taught how to handle certain information or events, I ended up very early on in what I think might've been depression. (I haven't gotten *that* checked out yet)
I couldn't handle my only two friends leaving me, knowing the fact I was different from every one, my siblings hating me, my parents unable to relate to me, knowing everyone only talked to me out of pity, and so on. I felt so sad for so many years to the point where I didn't even feel sad anymore. It was normal for a 10 year old to feel this much intense grief back then. Right..?
I think what broke me was either when I noticed I was different or when my only friends left me. I don't really remember anything from elementary school besides a few moments. Most of them were sad though. God private school sucked

Or that's just all the expectations that stressed us out and stunted our growth to the point we're not functional(?) adults. Guess that's what happens when five kids show that they're all smart from the very start.
