- Hello and welcome back to another exciting episode of Quirk Analysis 101, the series where I give you a detailed rundown on the quirks in Kohei Horikoshi's world of My Hero Academia or as it's also known as Boku No Hero Academia. In the last episode I discussed the quirk that belongs to everyone's favourite amphibian queen Froppy, Frog. In this video I'll be discussing the quirk that belongs to the queen of all creation herself, Momo Yaoyorozu! i've always imagined momo duplicating explosion, the steel skin quirk and acid

But she doesn't get there resitances I mean deku when using bakugous gauntlet nearly dislocated his arm so acid and explosions are out and copying steel quirk means she has to carry all that steel on you and to have the thickness of the actual steel quirk would be immovable for a normal person she would have to train for years so yea she could be but she would probably die if she didn't have the corret gear
I've always thought Yaoyorozu was just unimaginative. The quirk combos she could pull off with people are seriously intense. For instance, instead of burning tons of lipids on large creations, Yui Kodai from Class 1B could just use her Size quirk in combo with Yaoyorozu making a small-scale, but perfectly functional, thing, like say.. a bus. Yui Kodai could then enlarge it to a full size bus and they could move many people easily.
I didn't even think about quirk combos! You could pair her with anyone and she would have some pretty insane moves. This quirk is definitely underused and not put to it's full potential.
Personally, i think this is what they did in the war. I mean momo made a lot of things and it doesn't make sense.

She can invent things. Like make a stick that can also became shield.
Or hv skates that helps you walk on water . Make shoes that use vacum to run on walls. Tiny camera spider robots that use air as energy to spy on criminals.
There's so much only she can do that never been done. Like making invisibility clock!
I understand she is side character thus she doesn't hv much screentime but it's disappointing the time she gets doesn't show her being creative with her quirk.
I guess it's also plays on her personality and nature of persona , being rich girl. Who got provided everything so can't come up with creative ideas. Bcs necessity is mother of creativity.
I hope the series continues till they all become old and retired bcs their are so many characters that still hv alot to tale. Like her.
@@Vor567tezshe needs to know the atomic structure of whatever she is making so she pretty much can’t make items that have never been made before unless she thought really hard and became some sort of robotics expert
I always knew that Yaoyorozu is a very powerful person but the MHA creators only make scenes of Yaoyorozu making some cannons or some shields in the entire series... I hope Yaoyorozu will have more screentimes, so she will shine!😍🥰

I agree. she should be training to make antimatter bombs, or at the very least shoulder-mounted nukes like the Davy Crockett

me too, and I was sure that at some point we would see her creating rifles or fighting with swords or otherwise not just creating cannons and shields. I think she has one of the most interesting and versatile quirks
The problem is theres too many characters in the series and too little care to flesh them out.
I don’t know why people want Momo to be fat. It doesn’t make sense since her quirk requires to burn more fat. The storage of lipids is not the problem since she just needs food to replenish energy. Her problem has always been her thinking capabilities which result In indecisiveness
If i do recall correctly, apart of her quirk training is to create creations with the least amount of lipids meaning that in the future she could get to a point where a canon doesnt even take one lipid
Well they want her to be fat because since she does burn fat
So she should start out with the fat to burn
Like her fluxcuating weight would've made for a funny gag and a great indicator for her running out of material, since her running out of material rn is just her getting tired
I think the main reason she isn't fat is for fan service which is a validish reason
@@GMYSTERYICTNF I don't think that being fat helps her much in fights, since obesity also brings very important negative effects such as very little mobility, heart problems and it is very easy to suffer fractures (for example, if an obese person slips and falls with all his weight against his own foot, his leg bones would be shattered or his ankle would be completely dislocated to the point of needing surgery, whereas a normal weight person, in the same fall, would only sprain). It would be effective in boosting his quirk but not healthy for his body. Also, if you think about it, it would be a horrible thing for Momo to have to burst her stomach with food since she was a child in order to gain weight.
Problem with creating other quirks is that Yaomomo herself does not have the resistances to the quirk, meaning that she either risks hurting herself or has to create another object to provide defense against the quirk she is replicating. For example, she probably can't create acid safely since she doesn't have acid resistance like Mina does, same applies to explosion. She also might not be able to replicate mutant type quirks like engine correctly since the mutations are an actual part of the body rather than an object attached to it. I mean yeah, she might be able to replicate certain quirks, but not too many.
First some canon things her quirk allows her to do and she herself can do, all of which can be backed up by the anime and manga(some of which are mentioned in the vid):
1) Items created don't have to detach
2) Items can be ejected with velocity
3) Increased strength/durability in the areas items are created
4) Immunity to the items she is making while they are in the creation process
5) Has already been shown to create incredibly complex creations
6) Creations are based on molecular structure
7) She canonically has martial weapons training like swords, staffs, etc
So yes she can replicate other quirks without the drawbacks because at no point in her creations has anything ever hurt her with the wide range of stuff produced. MANGA SPOILERS: she creates liters of an insanely powerful liquid sedative and never once starts to go numb or fall unconscious, ie the creation process does not have drawbacks. Now she CAN"T make midnight's sedative without a gas mask because once its fully made she is no longer immune, but she could just make the gas mask. As ShigAFO says bodies adapt to the quirk, Momo's body is adapted to deal with her creations.
She has an insane amount of potential and is only limited by Horikoshi's creativity when writing her.
Imagine if Momo starts creating armor suits. T'would be hella crazy if she discovers nano tech.

Her power under utilised, she always goes for some overly complicated thing that uses up all her lipids and focus, but she could manifest cool mobility and weapon stuff rapidly

You can put her up against any other student or hero or villain and she can figure out how to defeat that person.

Yes, but that is also one of her weaknesses. She is very calculative and her Quirk takes a bit of time to work, so enemies who can hit hard and hit fast (like Dark Shadow) can be a big problem for her.

This! This is exactly what I am thinking.
Why does momo have to make solid items? It's basically just conversion of material right. They break down the fat on molecular levels and then remake them into something. But why can't they change that far into something to energy? Like energy, or bioelectrics to enhance her own strength?

Yaoyorozu has a lot of hidden potential and She's my Favorite,Just imagine the Combos she can do with one of the Class 1-A Characters.
It would so cool if Momo was in another duel training arc or Sports Festival and she just duplicated a quirk in front of everyone.
She literally put a tracking device on a villain which can lead to them finding the L.O.V base and finally defeating the villains, thanks to Yaomomo and her quirk 🤔

I think the reason why momo is able to create such large objects like canons despite not having enough body fat is because her body or quirk’s anatomy or mechanics are designed to store exes fat as pure atomic energy

shouldn't she be able to create knifes or needles so sharp they can cut into anything? including [Gigantic spoiler character here]
She can create very complex liquid like neurotoxin in large quantity.
A large quantity being like 300ml, considering some neurotixin are so dangerous they can shut down your whole body with less than 1ml.
She can also create small atomic bombs and trow them.
There is just so much to do it's not even funny anymore.
She is definitely one of the most op character of the serie

Which game? I play MHOJ2 and it seems pretty much identical to how she actually fights: Create melee weapons, fire off cannons, and throw the doll bomb things. Unless you mean her PU2, which is pretty cool.

I believe she only has to create the object once and the quirk "remembers" how the next time she needs it...like muscle memory. Yes, she has to be EXTRAORDINARILY intelligent to understand and visualize objects down to the atomic/molecular scale initially but she doesn't have to actively recall all the details of the items she has "taught" her quirk to create. This would make this quirk manageable in combat situations in addition to creating items prior to missions based on anticipated conditions.

I had a thought. When you said she could create other quirks. I can think of only one plausible way she could do that.
Remember where the doctor had all those canisters of replicated quirks. What if one of the heroes taken one or more of those canisters and Momo was able to study them.
If all she needs to do is understand it what's stopping her from shooting lightning out her fingers or flying with forceful air like All Might. I think if she simplified her quirk she would not only save fat and time to create whatever she needs to make, but also be more effective in hero work and more powerful in general

Wait her quirk allows her to break down fat at a molecular level? Her awakening will either be her having the ability ti use less fat *or straight up being able to manipulate the walls like some Overhaul bullshit*
Think about it when Momo has the unawakened quirk it allows her to manipulate her own body now what if it awakened? There are 3 possible ways it could go as far as I'm aware. 1st it could just be a small buff like being able to make more stuff but use less fat or something like that. 2nd it could allow her to use other people's fat and turn them into objects but even then it's freaking op because Momo could touch a villain and take all of their body fat rendering them without any energy and possibly killing them. 3rd is that she can manipulate anything and turn them into something else basically allowing her to touch a building and turn it into a plane or a super dense katana heck the limitations to how dense she could make things effectively allows her to *make world bending and reality shattering blackholes*
To be honest her quirk is creation. If you think about creation in a non-quirk way then you think how creation has no limits, it created life itself and living beings. My theory is that momo just hasn’t figured that out yet, that her quirk is legit creation. In the series and manga it explains quirks as unique powers that have certain limits. I believe that creation doesn’t have any limits and neither does any other quirk as long as it fits in the range of the quirk. Momo has also been given some screen time on how smart she is and how she gets out of problems and battles. And from what we know from what the series has shown us in the past with todoroki, Ilda, and ochako in the manga. I think that she will get her time to shine soon in the war arc and hopefully figure out that her quirk has no limits bc it’s creation itself. ( these are just my theories and they very well could be completely wrong and nothing could happen with momo. I just hope that she gets her time to shine in the series.)( also she comes from the yaoyorozu family who seem pretty important considering we never have see her parents, or any other family member all we know is that she grew up rich with all fun artifacts to practice making. Maybe she comes from a special bloodline that had quirks before everyone?)( AGAIN JUST MY THEORY THAT COULD/ PROBALY WILL BE WRONG😂😂😂)

I use the Adobe Creative Suite, although I know there are equivalents out there that are a lot cheaper.

And yet, Horikoshi still underuses and greatly wastes her potential, as he has done with a lot of the other character's that are just left at the sidelines.
Not wasted potential if the show isn't over. Even then her quirk is kind of weak. It's mainly good as a support at best.

Her’s is theoretically one of the most destructive quirk we see in the show.
One thing. Just look up how large a M80 tactical Nuclear Warhead is and then look at the size of stuff she can easily make. Than consider that modern megaton warheads are still smaller than some of the stuff the can whip up.

Momo can literally build atomic bombs if she wanted to. Of course she has the potential to rival All Might in raw destructive ability. She'd need someone to help her immediately evacuate the area before it went off, though.
i hope we will see her make a dessert eagle or any other gun. and if that would be at the sports festival it would be so funny like ayo person i dont want to kill you so just walk out of the field ok
Guns are useless in MHA. Deku casually dodged AR bullets at 5% which most people scale to.
I was terribly disappinted how weak she was, and she could always create food for herself, for small items take less energy.
As an engineer this quirk would put me in a god tier. Science and engineering are my passions, and there are so many things that I know anyway. Not to say all of my designs anyways from my own intuition.

She can make a gun that shoots guns that shoots bullets that open up mid flight and have a gun inside that shoots water but fast enough to destroy a house

What she needs is a hand gun that fires fifty caliber shells rounds the gun would have a vibranium comprised spring for recoil and antmanium outer casting the bullets very by what situation she needs fixed and if we go elements dust rounds capture rounds and giving the girl protoantimanium body armor with velcro open operation when she makes stuff i hard materials to get Your hands on but with creation easy to make .
