That Strat litterally has more sex appeal than my entire existence. Which isn't particularly difficult to do, but still, I'm less sexually attractive than a fucking *object.*

I've had an ESP EC 256 for 9 years. The stock pickups sound pretty good. But I installed a set of Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickups. And they sound amazing I've also heard that 59's are also really good.

I just bought the V1 model of the 40W last week, not knowing there was a V2 coming out. But for what it's worth, this one doesn't sound any different than mine so I guess I'll be glad I got it for a good price.
In any case, it IS a great amp. I've been through three or four amps and finally settled on this one.

These really are great little amps that indeed do pack quite the punch. I've got the ID Core 10 and it's a great practice amp and even small gigging amp. The built in effects are nice but it also does very well to accept other pedals if you like? I use a Digitech Whammy that pairs with this amazingly well. The clean warm and clean bright are super crisp, more than you'd expect for such small amps. I use it for my Gretsch White Falcon, Epi LP and Squier Telecaster and couldn't be happier. Best $90 I ever spent!

:D Proud owner of the ID260, ID60H, and HT20 (versatile, small, valve, awesome ) :D
ID floorboard... the idea being to get rid of the speaker box, and offer the ID Core or TVP engine in a more transportable format.
Light, hardy chassis, dual inputs, stereo out, two expression pedals, loop, tap tempo, freeze/hold effect on the reverb...all the super, extra super cool stuff a working muso can use...
I'd pay for, and would love the support of the ID features in a floorboard, that let's me DI to the desk, and decide on how big (if any) an on-stage speaker box I need.
    Rock on Blackstar

It's that the guys over at the custom shop put some 'gunk' around the frets, as if it has been played to shit. It makes the frets seem bigger than they actually are, because of a shadow effect.

This little guy blew me away, it sounds so huge. I can't say that enough, it sounds WAY BIGGER than it is. For 3 weeks I didn't turn on my Engl. This amp... Floored. No bad sounds; just inspiring. Best Small amp I've ever had/heard etc. IMPORTANT Feature. As far as I understand the ISF "Tone Knob", is it controls the SAG of the amp. To the left = Less SAG - American (Tight Rhythm). To the right = More SAG - British (Singing Leads). So it's quite a bit more than a tone contour; hence the "Patented ISF Knob"

The title of the patent that relates to this (they only have three) is
passive equalization circuit or tone control for an audio amplifier
intended for use with musical instruments has a means of continuously
adjusting the middle- or centre-dip or cut frequency. The amplifier is
particularly intended for use with guitars.

@@ardakucuksahin2855, I tried all three and bought the 20. It's the extra $ because it has bigger and better speakers. The additional low end gives a bigger and fuller sound. The 20 and 40 sound nearky identical but the 40 is louder. My 20 fills a big room quite nicely.

  • @Blamvideo

I bought one of these used, and the "clean bright" setting is worth buying the amp alone! With the built in effects, your vocals, or an acoustic or electric guitar sound amazing. However the gain and high gain channels are alot more solid state sounding, and aren't nearly as polished... It's got great bass for its size, and is much lighter than ANY tube amp (even the stupid awesome HT5R!). My opinion only... Thanks!

  • @xsixinfantryx

he says to listen in stereo if you can. But just having two speakers isnt how that amp makes it effects like that. There has to actually be two separately controlled channels. That way it can do things like slightly take the left and right out of time to make an echo sound, or do this, or that, and whatever else, to give you a real stereo effect. The only way (im sure ill be proved wrong) you would be able to hear it through youtube at home is if each speaker is mic'd (L&R) or its using the speaker outs directly. Otherwise your not going to get the full effect they are talking about. I pooped today.
