20 Voices - Joe Pepper - Choroideremia

The latest voice in our 20 voices campaign is Joe Pepper.
Joe, 28, is a teacher from Croydon who was diagnosed with the degenerative eye disease choroideremia at the age of 10.
Through the Tommy Salisbury Choroideremia Fund, Fight for Sight funded the initial research that led to a world-first clinical trial for choroideremia at the University of Oxford.
Joe took part in the clinical trial, which not only halted his sight loss but also restored some of his vision.
