But first as Ottoman vassals they lost WW1 and forfeited any and all sovereignty resulting in the British Mandate for Palestine. As was the case throughout the Middle East, Europe, Africa, etc…
I guess the counter argument here is that not everyone who lost land in these wars "started" the war, or really participated actively in it. Many believed they had to flee for their lives even if they didn't care about the war. So it's maybe unfair to lump all the Palestinians in with the ones that actually waged war at the time. On the other hand, life isn't fair and sometimes you have to take your lumps when you're caught up in a lot of bad luck and move on. But then you can retort that they have nowhere to move on to any more. The same leaders who caught them up in the war won't let them immigrate or annex into friendly neighboring countries, keeping them bottled up in Palestine as basically an entire nation of human shields holding back Israel from becoming fully settled. So I would say many Palestinians are victims of a great injustice but it's not just at the hands of Israel but also various Arab leaders and the United Nations.

As early as mid-August 1947, Fawzi al-Qawuqji-soon to be named the head of the Arab League's volunteer army in Palestine, the Arab Liberation Army (ALA)-threatened that, should the vote go the wrong way, "we will have to initiate total war. We will murder, wreck and ruin everything standing in our way, be it English, American or Jewish". It would be a "holy war", the Arabs suggested, which might even evolve into "World War III". ; p. 396- al-Qawuqji told his troops that the purpose is "ridding Palestine of the Zionist plague
Quote from Zuheir Mohsen a senior member of the Palestine Liberation Organization, "There's no such thing as a separate Palestinian people, there's no difference between Jordanians Palestinians Syrians... the Palestinian identity exists only for tactical reasons. The creation of a Palestinian state is a new instrument in our ongoing war against the state of Israel and for the purpose of our Arab unity. "Mohsen himself stated that there were "no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians, and Lebanese", though Palestinian identity would be emphasised for political reasons. In a March 1977 interview with the Dutch newspaper Trouw he stated that "between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese there are no differences. We are all part of one people, the Arab nation [...] Just for political reasons we carefully underwrite our Palestinian identity. Because it is of national interest for the Arabs to advocate the existence of Palestinians to balance Zionism. Palestine had never been a sovereign nation in all of human history. Only a territory of bygone empires. When that age of empires ended, so did Palestine. It ceased to exist in 1947.

As you have previously stated numerous times - under the Ottoman Empire (until 1918) most of the land in Israel (only named Palestine by the UN and British from 1920-47) was owned by people who didn't live there. The landowners were mainly but not exclusively Arabs who lived in Damascus, Beirut etc. The 'local' Arabs were nomadic. The Jews raised money during the British mandate and bought all their settlement lands from the foreign owners, cleared and irrigated it, created industry, agriculture, ports and railways, sparking a wave of Arab immigration from surrounding Arab countries. Then, of course, the attempt to displace the Jews in 1947 didn't go well. Arab immigration to Israel from 1920-47 was just a form of failed invasion - similar to what is going on in Europe now.

I’ll be happy to answer your dumb question not for you, but for your viewers: Nahsholim is an Israelis settlement was built on a Palestinian village called Tantura in 1948. I’m sure you know that. And there’s a little thing of what happened: “I was a murderer. I didn’t take prisoners,” says Amitzur Cohen an Israeli combat soldier. How many Arabs did he kill outside the framework of the battles? “I didn’t count. I had a machine gun with 250 bullets. I can’t say how many.” Also winning a war does not give you a permanent permit to keep stealing land.
He said before 1947 in the video. So your example of 1948 is irrelevant. The Arabs had already went to war with Israel by that time. And yes, winning a war does allow you to take land that was not previously yours. It is called spoils of war and it has happened all throughout human history all across the world. That is the price you pay for losing.
Nahsholim was setlled by jews after the arabs started and lost a war. Polish Gdansk and Russain Kaliningrad used to be German Danzig and Konigsberg until the germans lost a war. You lose a war, you lose territory.
Keep up the attempts to bring out truth, even when the mobs are repeatedly and loudly screaming the lies. "Start a war, you might lose." Another truth. Blessings.

The Jews are indigenous to Israel Samaria and Judea and can all trace their matrilineal heritage to the original 12 tribes of Israel. Jews have been in Israel for 3700 yrs. Arabs arrived 1400 yrs ago as murdering raping conquering occupying colonists and pushed many of the Jews from their land. Some settled in surrounding lands and some moved as far away as Russia looking for a place to live. The Jews were harassed wherever they went and in 1880 started to return to Israel. They have stolen nothing. In 1880 Israel was a part of the Ottoman Empire and no one was allowed to own land. The Ottomans chose to side with Germany in WW1 and the Ottoman Empire Collapsed. As things became increasingly dangerous for Jews in Europe between the two great wars more and more Jews returned to Israel which was a British Mandate at the time. There has never ever been a self governing state called Palestine and no one called themselves Palestinians until a corrupt UN named them that in the 1960s. Everything in the world is logical. Our understanding is the problem. Jew hatred is the psychological desire to eat, swallow, assimilate the jews. It’s purpose is to become one with the eternal spirit wich shines through the eternal people. In hebrew is it pure etymology/maths of words kiss=weapon~=bite, to eat=make everything to himself. Peoples which behave like that will have to learn that they are (not fully) wrong. It’s definitely about an intimate connection but it’s not by eating but by love. They want to kiss jews, not bite. It’s about love, not breakfast.
Jews hatred exists because of Zionism and the many evils it has wrought on this world. National Socialism was 100% a reaction to Jewish backed communism in Russia. Don't bs me son.

Vladimir Jabotinsky 1880-1940 - Post-Herzl Zionist ideologue. - Founder of the Irgun, a pro-colonial terrorist group. - Mentored & inspired countless Israeli leaders. "It is utterly impossible to obtain the voluntary consent of the Palestine Arabs for converting Palestine from an Arab country into a country with a Jewish majority. My readers have ageneral idea of the history of colonisation in other countries. I suggest they consider all the precedents with which they are acquainted, and see whether there is one solitary instance of any colonisation being carried on with the consent of the native population. There is no such precedent. [...) This is equally true of the Arabs. They feel at least the same instinctive, jealous love of Palestine as the old Aztecs felt for ancient Mexico, and the Sioux for their rolling prairies. [...) Every native population in the world resists colonists as long as it has the slightest hope of being able to rid itself of the danger of being colonised. That is what the Arabs of Palestine are doing, and what they will persist in doing as long as there remains a solitary spark of hope that they will be able to prevent the transformation of Palestine into the Land of Israel." - [12] The Iron Wall, Vladimir Jabotinsky. "The iron law of every colonizing movement, a law which knows of no exceptions, a law which existed in all times and under all circumstances. If you wish to colonize a land in which people are already living, you must provide a garrison on your behalf. Or else, give up your colonization, for without an armed force which will render physically impossible any attempts to destroy or prevent this colonization, colonization is impossible, not "difficult", not "dangerous" but IMPOSSIBLE! Zionism is a colonizing adventure and therefore it stands or falls by the question of armed force." - [13] The Iron Law, Vladimir Jabotinsky.

What most people forget, and which I learned from a Congolese neighbour doing a master in history at my very anti-semitic university (well many students are openly anti-semitic so it makes the school unsafe for jews sometimes), is that the jews bought much of the land from the Arabs starting in the 1900s. The jews were mistreated everywhere, they knew at some point they needed to be the masters of their destiny. They wondered what will happen when everyone expels them. So, those who could started re-buying land in Israel, land which belonged to their ancestors but for the sake of legal purposes needed to be legally re-purchased. The interesting thing this neighbour told me is that this business of selling land was so profitable for these settler Arabs that they even went abroad to look for jewish buyers for their plots of land. Why? Obsession aside, the Palestinians have a country called Jordan. Israel is very small, insignificant in size compared to the gigantic Arab nations around it, these people who were selling this land were not having any issues buying new better lands in any of the surrounding countries.
Jews bought back ancestral homeland, but have not claimed it for Jews alone. Yes, the Jewish state of Israel provides a certain dominance, which ensures their religion a safe haven. The idea, that Arabs have a better claim to ruling this land, allowing them to expel, rape or massacre at will any other religion or ethnie is just outright evil. This idea is so evil, that we don't need to consider any outlandish claims about Canaanite identity or similar BS at all.

People can't seem to fathom that the self proclaimed "freedom fighters" of Hamas have been perpetuating their people's issues for years, holding back food aid and using all funding for their military efforts. "Why would they do that" these imbeciles ask, "what is the logic?" The logic is, it's easier to get a large populace to obey you when you keep them famished and in rags, and aim their disdain at your neighbor. By keeping them hungry and giving them something to hate, it's easy to have them believe anything they want to; who is to blame, what the best course of action is, etc. Hamas and the other extremists throughout the years in Gaza have weakened their own people's moral fiber to keep them pliant and obedient. Because of that, it's easy for them to paint a narrative of a starving, depressed people to news outlets and try to weaken Israel's global support. This entire conflict is just an elaborate smear campaign, designed to cut Israel off from a vital asset: its allies around the world. And unfortunately, the ignorant people in the West are uneducated on the conflict and history of the middle East, and buying into the underdog narrative, believing this to be a David and Goliath situation.
Hamas leaders said on TV multiple times that they don’t care about the Palestinians… they rather get bombs than give them food - they called them “just refugees”… they call the people who elected them “just refugees” and they chose to use their water pipes to build rickets… taking clean water from Palestinians in order to bomb Israelis … that is Hamas !!

Nobody is arguing that there were Jewish settlements on Arab land before 1947. They're saying that a large number of Jewish people moved into the region around 1947 which triggered a war because they were taking land that the arabs were already living on. Are you saying that land rightfully belongs to you if you can take it? The Nakba in 1947 is something that both sides of the Arabs and Israelis report the same, thousands of arabs died and 700,000 were pushed out of the region. And a large amount of Christians were pushed out of the region as well. Wouldn't Koreans start a war if Russians invaded them? If Russia manages to take over Ukraine does that mean that land was rightfully Russia's? Just because you can use military force to take someone's land does not make it morally justified. I really want Jewish people and Arabs to live in peace, but we can't have peace if we believe military conquest and acquisition is morally justified. If i found an old historical home that my great great great grandfather lived in a long time ago, and someone else had been paying the mortgage on that house for years, wouldn't it be strange for me to suddenly claim it as my own? It belongs to the people who had been born there, not the immigrants.
So in a similar example, the turkish invasion and occupation of 1/3 of Cyprus means that this part belongs to Turkey just because turkish people were born there from turkish people who were being brought to the island and now live there?
The claim that land belongs to the people who had been born there is utter garbage. That would mean I had claims over every house where any of my ancestors were born. The whole discussion of who-owns-which-land is nonsense. All the struggles are only about who has the right to RULE which area, and the answers should be sought among what is realistic, practical, and enables people to have a good life. Starting from there, you should rethink every conclusion you have reached so far.

You should also mention that there is no Arab land in Canaan. There is only Arab-colonized land. This is why even after 1948 no Aran land was 'stolen'. A land you colonized isn't yours.
@@colonol1239That is sort of true. Studies checked a connection between canaanites to today's local population and found that Jew, Palestinians and Lebanese have canaanite DNA. However if we look at the bible we see that God told the Jews to take the land from the canaanites and kill them. The Quran although not mentioning the name Canaan, also supports this (The canaanites did not believe in one God, they were pagans) so basically we can all agree that the land was promised to Jews by God, the former inhabitants were killed by his demand.
I sympathise with your argument. But be careful, it's a fragile line: Israelites colonised Canaan according to the Tanakh! How far do you go back in history to prove ownership?
@tiosurcgib Tanakh is not a historic document. It's a book of Israelite mythology. Not to say that myths cannot turn out to be true, but they are not by default factual. No historical record, as far as I know, supports the notion of Israelite invasion from the Sinai desert. The archeological and historical findings we do have paint a picture of Israelites being Canaanite tribes that slowly came together to form a nation. However, even if the Tanakh story of Egyptian slavery was true, it still shows Israelites to be Canaaneans - they became Israelites in Canaan, they went into Egypt from Canaan, and they returned from Egypt back home into Canaan, never seeking another home or another land for the next 3500 years. If that invasion did historically occur, and we to this day did have victims of that invasion around - I'd agree that you have a point. But what we have is (1) a conquest that may or may not have taken place, (2) by a bunch of local, not outlander tribes, (3) with victims that may or may not have been, and with none of them remaining today, (4) and a small nation that only ever asked for a small piece of land for themselves, nothing more. Contrast that to the grand colonization by Arabs... these two are incomparable. So, no, I don't think I'm in danger of presenting a fragile argument.
People who read the Bible beginning from Genesis they know the land of Canaan which is Israel 🇮🇱 belongs by an Eternal Covenant between God and Abraham to the Jewish people for ever. Period. There are hundreds of prophecies about God restoring Israel and bringing them back from the four corners of the earth to their own land. If the ignorant university students don't like it let them complain to God. The land of Israel is their home for ever and ever and ever. Amen
OK! Where do I file the complaint to God? Come on, every person has its own beliefs, but what you believe doesn't rule on people and citing the Bible is not an admissible source, since it's just another book written by humans saying things for which there is no evidence. Written by God's inspiration? That can't and won't be determined. No one ever proved it, not even the mere existence of God. God's Chosen People? God's given right to the land of Caanan? Tons of BS!

Isn't the same mechanism at work in Israeli society? Isn't it so that the crimes being committed against the Palestinians, not just the physical crimes, like killing, imprisoning, stealing land, destroying homes and olive trees, but also the countless bureaucratic crimes, like the systematic withholding of building permits, declaring areas to be colonised first a nature park or a closed military zone, off-limits to Palestinian farmers, road closures forcing Palestinians to make long arduous journeys, can happen because Zionist Israeli society, the society of the Nation State Law, is not telling its children, who grow up to become soldiers, colonists, bureaucrats, politicians and members of Shin Bet/Mossad, to feel guilty for their deeds?

@@GimmieCookieand they rejected the UN resolution and start a war

Jew hatred isn't logical.
Hatred towards any group collaterally is almost never logical.

That is what the Arabs of Palestine are doing, and what they will persist in doing as long as there remains a solitary spark of hope that they will be able to prevent the transformation of Palestine into the Land of Israel."
- [12] The Iron Wall, Vladimir Jabotinsky.
Zionism is a colonizing adventure and therefore it stands or falls by the question of armed force."

The Arab culture is built on violence and pride, not righteousness and fairness. They're sore losers.
Those Jews are not Semitic. So the term antisemitic you’re using is not correct.

People can't seem to fathom that the self proclaimed "freedom fighters" of Hamas have been perpetuating their people's issues for years, holding back food aid and using all funding for their military efforts. "Why would they do that" these imbeciles ask, "what is the logic?"
The logic is, it's easier to get a large populace to obey you when you keep them famished and in rags, and aim their disdain at your neighbor.

@@mohamedkarim2155 No. The land was under British control at the time (British mandate), and they aimed to partition it among the inhabitants, who already had a long history of violence and conflict. Both parties had legitimate claims to the land.
All parties came together to negotiate, but the Arabs rejected every proposal, including the Peel Commission.
Eventually, the British needed to withdraw. The Jews agreed to the UN partition plan of 1947, which had been voted on and approved. However, multiple Arab nations launched attacks the following day and were defeated. When you lose wars, borders change.

Preach!
You’re not taking the land by living there 💀. They just didn’t like the Jews like everyone at that time
So in a similar example, the turkish invasion and occupation of 1/3 of Cyprus means that this part belongs to Turkey just because turkish people were born there from turkish people who were being brought to the island and now live there?
The claim that land belongs to the people who had been born there is utter garbage.
That would mean I had claims over every house where any of my ancestors were born.
The whole discussion of who-owns-which-land is nonsense.
All the struggles are only about who has the right to RULE which area, and the answers should be sought among what is realistic, practical, and enables people to have a good life.

This was until 1920's when a lot more Europeans entered the lands and from there on, the land was taken from its rightful owners.
You should also mention that there is no Arab land in Canaan. There is only Arab-colonized land. This is why even after 1948 no Aran land was 'stolen'. A land you colonized isn't yours.
Yes! Also, many pro-pales claim that modern Arabs from Palestine are descendants of Canaanites ))
@colonol1239 They seem to claim whatever is politically expedient at the moment.
Cocaine is hell of a drug😂😂😂
No one will ever steal land from God's chosen people...the land has divine, designated, possession,

Come on,
every person has its own beliefs, but what you believe doesn't rule on people and citing the Bible is not an admissible source, since it's just another book written by humans saying things for which there is no evidence. Written by God's inspiration? That can't and won't be determined. No one ever proved it, not even the mere existence of God. God's Chosen People? God's given right to the land of Caanan? Tons of BS!

Contrary to the judgment handed down in the trial, Arendt did not believe that Eichmann needed to "close his ears to the voice of conscience," or that he lacked a conscience altogether, but that the voice of conscience of "respectable" German society did not tell him that he should feel guilty for his deeds.
