- A classic 80's style monster truck course: start the race with a sled pull, make a sweeping 180-degree turn to hit some cars stacked 2-high, then over another set of cars to the finish. Watch Rich Hooser pilot BIGFOOT 4 around the unique old school J-track.

The joy of being a little boy in the late 80s and early 90s. You had larger than life figures like the big blue Bigfoot and Hulk Hogan. Watch this and then have a delicious greasy deep dish at Pizza Hut under the Tiffany lamps. Peak Pax Americana!
And then go home and play with your Tamiya lunch box or Midnight Pumpkin
💯 summed up my childhood along with many more!
Gotta play some Ms. Pac-Man or Donkey Kong at the Hut.
This kicked me straight in the nostalgia.
The Baddest Monster truck in the whole world! Still my number one favorite since I was a kid!
This old footage never gets old, thank you guys so much for posting it! 5:39 was hilarious, that kind of competitive nature is something that's lost in the sport these days. It rarely ever seems to be Ford vs Chevy or Dodge. Back then the racing was legit and was so through out most of the 1980's and 1990's, Monster Jam just doesn't do it for me, I don't care about wild stunts or freestyling the truck until its a crumbling hunk of junk, more than anything I just want to see more legitimate racing done as show here. Bigfoot will always be king!
I don't care for Monster Jam either for many of the same reasons....
You might be interested in the Outlaw Monster Truck Drags then.
feld shows are gay. they have boring races with small tracks with too many turns which forces the trucks to go slower
Been waiting to see more footage from this event for decades. Thanks Bigfoot for uploading this one.
Real trucks on a monster chassis! Bigfoot is the pioneer of the sport!
I had a Bigfoot monster truck toy when I was a little kid. I used to run it through the mud and the puddles. Make it climb overstuff. Had lots of torque! All that water and dirt made it eventually die. I remember wondering why because Bigfoot was essentially indestructible to me. What memories. Thanks so much for posting this.
Bigfoot pulls up and ask Bearfoot…. Have you driven a Ford…. Lately?? Savage even back in the 80s 🤣🤣
If my memory serves me right, they use to put” Have you flown a Ford lately?” on the Bigfoot trucks.
Bigfoot qnd Bearfoot were big time rivals i do believe
@@TJ-qz6hr I remember that for a period of time.
2 years before I was born. Some of my oldest memories are seeing the Bigfoot posters in awe. Who would have thought we would be watching all of this nostalgia at the touch of a finger.
One of my earliest memories is getting the BIGFOOT power wheels for Christmas probably 87
This is incredibly rare footage! I can't wait to see more!
As a child of the 90s on tv or in the car if me and my pops heard
SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY, boy we lit up like Christmas trees
I'd always whisper to my mom and older sis, they're back 😊 Bigfoot and grvaedigger and the cop those were and will always be my favorites, but Bigfoot will always be #1
Glad to see another video posted by Bigfoot 4x4x4 TV. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what’s next.
Big bad blown!
Yay! Something new from BIGFOOTtv!
Footage from this event was on the old VHS tape Blood, Sweat, & Gears.
Had a Bigfoot motorised toy when I was a kid in the 80's. ❤
I had a little Grave Digger. :)
RIP Hoosier legend. The 80s an 90s were unbelievable got monster TRUCKS.
Bigfoot you always be My hero and a legend 😘
Please go through and pull all of this GREAT footage from this era. Especially from the historic buildings like MSG, Superdome, Silverdome, LA Coliseum, etc.
Thank you Team Bigfoot
Just seen a new video of bigfoot so came here to look at the old school footage from when I was a kid.... Can't believe this things still alive and kicking 😂 ford built tough 😂
Only thing I don’t like about Bigfoot… nothing!!! I loved that truck as a kid now I’m 41 and it still gives me goosebumps bumps as a grown man with boys of his own
Love the old school coverage!!!! Still hoping for Avila Indiana May 1988!!!
The video quality is amazing
I've been wanting to see more footage of this event for over 30 years now. Thank you!
Breaks my heart to see all those classic cars crushed like that
Bigfoot needed to feed!!!!
Love the Marlboro and Budweiser ads! Brings back nostalgia!
That jump at the 2:32 mark was crazy! Used to love seeing Bigfoot on TV when I was a kid. One of the things I always liked about these model of trucks was that they actually crushed the cars. I went to a monster truck show for my birthday earlier this year, and all of the trucks often times jumped right over the cars without even touching them. It was almost as if the cars weren't there. Seeing this video brings me back to my childhood!
Car Killer and Bigfoot, that's awesome!
Another awesome video. I love these old videos. I miss these trucks and this style of racing.
Wow that was awesome! I've never seen the full runs from Blood, Sweat, & Gears. "Big, Bad, Blown!"
Good ole Bigfoot 4! The workhorse of the Bigfoot Trucks! In my opinion
You just can’t get tired of that sound
Classic Bigfoot power plant , 460 topped with 2 predators and a 671 roots blower.
I love it, Bigfoot 4 could do it all pretty okay.
Pretty okay is an understatement. Bigfoot #4 remained competitive to some degree at least until around 1994 or 1995 granted it changed a LOT between 1985 and 1995, but regardless the chassis really was a workhorse.
I got a 1987 ford f150 4x4 bigfoot cruiser just not as big 😅 but very rare!!
The truck that started it all love it
Thank you!
I can’t believe I just watched a monster truck, even ole #4 do both a sky wheelie and a donut in 1987. Ahead of their time, these guys. And that old girl!
i love his driving suit, its like an 80s jogging suit made of plastic. one drop of methanol or 112 race fuel and he would look like a birthday candle until it melted and dripped off loll 😆 it would melt to
I just remembered about this:o i still remember being obsessed with these when i was a kid lol
I love seeing this footage i literally grew up with this footage
Great nostalgic video
Legend!
Big foot was my favourite
brings back memories
Awesome!.. 4x4xfar! 👍
The old footage is super cool, all I could ask for is the old music from the original tapes, but I understand if you can't due to licensing
This is awesome! All the classics in this clip
Nothing like the sound of a big block Ford wide open in a dome! Do you have any footage of Bigfoot at the Silverdome in the 80s and 90s?
I think the race between BIGFOOT and The Car Killer tank was featured on the "Blood, Sweat n Gears" VHS. If I remember right, Car Killer lost reverse gear and they had to move the sled forward in order to hook up. I still have that tape. Seems BF hardly ever broke down during a show, just shows how well built BF trucks were, #4 in particular. Thanks for posting.
Part of what always separated the Bigfoot crew, they always had quality equipment being maintained by quality mechanics and driven by quality drivers. Most other crews only got one of two of those, Bigfoot had them all!
Seen big foot life absolutely deathning
monster trucks today do not have engines that sound like that any more, and that is a crime, nothing beat that sound and I can almost smell the exhaust from this video I miss them days
I just found out Rich Hooser passed away this week.
R.I.P.
As always, the opponent took second place, and the snowman took only the penultimate.
Looks great
RIP Rich Hoosier

😄😄😄😄🥰🥰🥰
Oh, the sound of that engine going off.
Need to do Rich Hooser highlight reel
That race with Car Killer was in Blood Sweat and Gears 1987 VHS wasn’t it?
found bigfoot!
Me at 2:30: Is that Virginia Beach Beast in the background?
Me at 5:30: Thanks for the answer Announcer Man!
Always awesome to see old footage of monster trucks, the new stuff just doesn't have the same charm as theses do. Still have to wonder, what was with the Red and white Torino on the side? Was that a stunt car?
A motorcycle stunt rider named "Jumping Jeff" ran into it and was catapulted into the row of boxes behind the Torino. The stunt can be seen on the "Blood Sweat and Gears" VHS as well as one of the races between BIGFOOT and Car-Killer.
SALMO BIG POK CRAZY ORIGINAL
I want to see Bigfoot monster truck 2022
Go to the Monster truck blog.. Nobody isn't gonna tell them what to upload on their page
Was this event televised back then?
Glory days of REAL factory produced truck bodies and not the full caged, rear/mid engine things with fiberglass bodies they started using in the '90s.
Too young to remember Bigfoot. At least I have Grave Digger.
When Bigfoot and Sergeant slaughter did a tug of war
I was still in the womb yet while this was going on. Came out about a month later
やっぱりbig footしか勝たん
A womans love is like sand
Nice how the sleds aren’t actually being used. No weight on them and lifted of the ground while pulling
Wow!
man ! does it look like a backbreaker in that cab ......!?!
Lil foot
Awesome footage, the others do pretty good until they get up against the Boss.
Gnarly
Tampa 1995?!?!?!
What about it
What size tires are they running, anybody?
🎉
Anyone else noticed the two door impala on top. 71 or 72 mustang. Starsky and hutch Torino. What a shame an hard to watch get crushed
Monster max 2 is the worlds largest truck now so but I still love Bigfoot just saying monster max 2 is the worlds largest truck now .
That has not been verified yet.
This is from the sweat blood and gears movie
hes callled big foot for a reson 1:04
Idk why but I always thought it was BF3 doing this event
cars 4 monster bigfoot
Someone obviously saw my post in the True page on Facebook lol
Lol I did😂
what’s gas mileage in those small truck
The gas mileage of a Monster Truck? There's an old documentary about them called Secret's of Monster Trucks "which had a banging soundtrack by the way" from a few years after this footage was shot. In that documentary they claim the average race prepped Monster Truck gets about 250 feet per gallon of fuel used.
I bid. 32
Ijin bg
These were not very thought out tracks lol, FUN...but not ideal at all
😊😊😊😊😅
ua-cam.com/video/U9Owt2F2Lek/v-deo.html I learned that this beast was actually real through video game. When i was 9 years old. Greetings from Finland.
