    Great footage. Amazing how hart number 4 leaves the line qualifying with the smaller engine. Rich was a legendary driver and will be missed.

    I still go on record that in that era, up till the track closed, the best course ever done was the Louisville Figure-8. The first true drivers track.

    Thanks for the memory. This was always my favorite place to watch Bigfoot as they would let them fly with no ceiling. The best spectator spot was by the figure 8 flag stand as when they came to the finish line you could see the bottom of the trucks with all 4 spinning. I was hoping you would put a video up from Louisville Motor Speedway and I was probably in the stands here. The track was just opened when this was filmed. Too bad the track is gone already and is now a UPS warehouse.

    Ah yes, the good old figure-eight monster truck carnage. Bigfoot 4 was a great build!
    Also, I am stunned to hear that Rich Hooser passed away this year. He was an excellent monster truck driver, and he will be missed. We can always come back to his Bigfoot highlights at any time. I'd like to express condolences to Rich Hooser's family that I am sorry to hear about his passing. I will also pray for his family! May he rest in peace...

      Are you referring to Robin Woods? I recall seeing his sleds at various pulls in the N. TN. area in the late 80s/early 90s. Was Star Trek the Star Trax tank? That was a pretty awesome machine. Got to sit behind the sticks for a bit. Great memories indeed.

    I don’t know if this was before or after, but you all came to my hometown of London, KY and did a demonstration at the Ford Dealer and that was the loudest thing I’ve ever heard. Would love to see that truck again and maybe drive it.

    Bigfoot never lost a race. Correct ?

    • @nathanmcdonald610
      @nathanmcdonald610 Рік тому +3

      Incorrect, Bigfoot was definitely one of the most fierce competitors, but did lose once in a while. That's the nature of competing, you win some you lose some.

    • @jeremiahcole2542
      @jeremiahcole2542 Рік тому +3

      Definitely lost races, but was the most dominant truck of the 80s and early 90s

      During the 1988 TNT series, many of Bigfoot's wins and losses came as the team battled USA-1 for the championship.
