    I don't believe it - someone showed off their awesome gun mods and actually put the links to each of them in the description.
    You, sir, get a thumbs up.

    Nice video bro! Getting my G19 gen 3 tomorrow brand new! 1st time owner, can't wait to hit the range and learn more and more about firearms and upgrades!

      Awesome. Since first time owner, I suggest getting familiar with the firearm first before doing any upgrades. Put bunch rounds through it and get the feel for it. First upgrade suggestion would be the sights...Glock factory sights work, but not the greatest imo.

      @@XtremeAdventures671 thanks for the reply bro! Yes I ordered my glock with sights. It was additional $50 I think but supposedly was a $150 value lol idk if that's true or not but my appointment for pick up is tomorrow at noon. Super excited! Thanks for the advice, I will do exactly that🙂

    The perfection part came later. A super reliable platform that is worth perfecting to your individual needs in the aftermarket.
    They remind me of tattoo machines before they went rotary. Artists bought perfectly reliable units and customized them to fit their working style.

    Dude that is a nice looking pistol. I have a video out on my glock that I've thrown a threaded barrel on, check it out sometime, but I've been wanting to get my slide milled out to accept an RMR, but just haven't had the money for it. Like the video and like the gun man, keep it up.

    Great video, but I have to ask.. Have you had any problems with that extremely deep undercut? It looks very thin.....

    • @XtremeAdventures671
      @XtremeAdventures671  7 років тому +1

      Thanks. As for the undercut, I did remove a bit more material than on my Gen2 G19, but not as thin as it seems on the video. Was trying to round out the edges, but took off a bit more than planned on the edges. Still very rigid in the area, no flex when apply pressure.

    I just got the Vortex red dot for my G19, never had a red dot. I have attempted to sight it in, no luck so far. Any suggestions???

    • @XtremeAdventures671
      @XtremeAdventures671  7 років тому +1

      When zeroing any sights or optics, best to have some form of bench, vise, rest, etc for stability and consistency. Reduce the amount of human error.
      Usually we will sight in the pistol with suppressor sights first and then set the red dot in relation to the front sights. Here are some good videos of zeroing red dots on pistols:
      ua-cam.com/video/SOm1262nG18/v-deo.html
      ua-cam.com/video/N0v6kjASh4s/v-deo.html
      If you do not have suppressor sights to co-witness with the red dot optic, then one option is to get a laser bore sight, this will help get you on paper so you can start zeroing the red dot. If you do not have a laser bore sight, then I suggest you start at closer distances like 5 feet, then 10 feet, and work your way out farther to your desired distance. Key is to get your shots on paper, so you can start zeroing the sights. Like stated earlier I suggest using a solid shooting rest or vise for consistency. Take 3-5 shots using a shooting rest or vise, make adjustments and repeat. At closer distances you will be shooting naturally low, but I suggest adjust the windage first then as you work your way further out start adjusting the elevation.
      Hope that helps.

    very nice video. good to see lots of extras with links.I have never owned a glock. I have both a sig sauer m11-a1 and p227. I picked up my g19mso 3days ago with a Trijicon rm06 and I have to say I will never spend $1000+ on a handgun again. don't get me wrong. I love my Sigs but I can't see milling a $1300 gun just for an rmr. I guess I have come to the dark side lol.

    Hey bud how are you liking the S3F barrel? Looking to buy a Glock 17 as i already have a Glock 19 and i have a Zev barrel in my 19 but wanna try out the S3F for the G17 when i get it as it will be my range toy :) Let me know how you like the S3F barrel to this day please and thank you! Awesome video! And thanks for posting the links too! That's a huge help!

      So far so good. Not a huge difference I notice with standard ball ammo 115gr. More accurate over stock barrel when using my carry load of Federal HST 147gr ammo. Still consider myself an amateur shooter so Im sure some shooter error here and there. I don't have a pistol vise to accurately test each type of ammo.
      I also just picked up a Blacklist barrel. I will be comparing it against the S3F shortly.

    Jus get my permit and am look to own my frist hand gun...my frist choice was the glock 17 but look on the glock 19 it's amaz me so am still thinking?

    • @XtremeAdventures671
      @XtremeAdventures671  7 років тому +2

      Congratulation on getting your permit and preparing to pick up your 1st firearm. Every gun purchase is an individual decision, driven by specific needs and requirements. You may not know exactly which firearm you’re looking for, but you probably know what you want to do with it. So best firgure out the purpose for it, personal defense weapon (pdw), target shooting, home defense, etc.
      Glock 17 is a full size frame compared to Glock 19 being a compact frame. If planning to conceal carry in future, Glock 19 easier to conceal over the Glock 17. Ive seen people CC a Glock 17 but will determine you build and clothing.
      If you get a chance, try visit local firearm retail shops and actually grip the firearm in your hands to get a feel.
      Since this is going to your 1st firearms, I cannot stress that SAFETY is your #1 priority. Need to become a responsible firearms owner. Get proper storage for your firearm and ammo, follow the 4 general safety rules (there are more) :
      1. Treat all guns as if they are loaded.
      2. Never point the gun at anything you are not willing to destroy.
      3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target (and you have made the decision to shoot).
      4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
      Lastly, need to be willing to invest in ammo and frequently train at the shooting ranges. Useless if you cannot accurately and effectively shoot your firearms. Pistols take more training than shooting long guns (rifles).
      Good Luck!!!

    What is that on the end of the barrel? Most of the compensators I’ve seen are a little bigger. Thanks

    • @XtremeAdventures671

      It's a thread protector on the end of the barrel. Not a compensator.

    Do you have an exact model number or direct link to the suppressor sights? There are many similar sights and a lot of people are 50/50 about whether or not they are tall enough which has me worried.

      No malfunctions or issues at all so far.....in this video I was installed the Gen3 G17 smooth trigger/trigger bar. Since then I am running the Agency Arms Trigger with Gen3 Trigger Bar, I have another video comparing the Agency Arms and Overwatch TAC trigger, both are Gen3 Trigger Bars. Have hundreds of round down range and works perfectly fine.

    Hey brotha! Just want to know if your holster is customized or you just bought it online. If so, can I get the link from you and how much was it? TY

    • @XtremeAdventures671
      @XtremeAdventures671  6 років тому

      I order my holsters online usually. I have ordered from Vedder Holster (IWB type), Tuctite Holster (AIWB type), Raven Concealment (IWB), & Alien Gear (Hybrid type), check out the sites, it shows price and lead times. It all depends on the type of pistol and what accessories you have mounted to it. Additionally, how you plan to carry the pistol, IWB, OWB, or AIWB. Lots of trials and errors too. Some fit better than others. Appendix carry, i suggest Tier 1 Concealed "Agis or Axis" type holster. I plan to order 1 for my Glock 19/43. Strong side carry (3 o’clock, 4 o’clock, or 5 o’clock positions), I am looking to try Renaissance Firearms "Fupa" holster for my Glock 19. Reason for me to get new holsters is that I now have a Streamlight TLR-7 weapon light mounted on my Glock 19, not many holster companies have the tlr-7 listed as a weapon light option yet. So far Tier 1 Concealed and Renaissance Firearms are the 2 companies i found with TLR-7 as option of weapon light on their website.....plus get to try out other holsters from different companies.
      Locally, I have a friend that makes holsters too.....kydex and hybrid type holsters. He is able to do IWB or OWB....Orion Weaponry.

      DEMNTD1 One more question, I just checked S3F Barrel and what is the difference between threaded and fluted?

    • @XtremeAdventures671
      @XtremeAdventures671  6 років тому

      Threaded barrels as stated are threaded at the end of the barrel and usually longer than factory barrel lengths. The threaded section sticks out past the end of the slide. If the place you live allows you to own a silencer, you can attach it to the threaded section. Nowadays, like AR rifles, you can also add compensator/muzzle brake on the end of your pistol.
      Fluted barrels have external grooves cut along the length of the barrel, it is said to cool barrels down faster, but I would say it is more of an aesthetic feature, in other words for the look of it.
      If you Google threaded barrels, pistol compensator (Glock compensator), and fluted barrels you will find lots information and images online.
      So many aftermarket barrel manufacturers nowadays, especially for Glock pistols. Blacklist, Agency Arms, S3F, LoneWolf, ATI, Lantac, CMC, and so much more. Just note, aftermarket barrels will not make you shoot better or become a better shooter.....Range time and lots of shooting down range will. If you already have tight groupings, it can help make them tighter.
      Priority #1 will be good night sights (Trijicon HD XR, Trijicon HD, Ameriglo, etc), Priority #2 I would say is a good trigger (Agency Arms, Overwatch, Apex, etc).
      Hope that helps.

    • @XtremeAdventures671
      @XtremeAdventures671  6 років тому

      Yes the G19 can use G17 mags, but since g17 mags longer it will stick out. You can run the factory 33rd magazine too or other aftermarket magazines like ETS, drum mags, etc. If you do plan to run a G17 magazine for 2 extra rounds, then I would suggest getting the X-grip magazine sleeve to fill in the gap. www.glockstore.com/X-Grip-for-Glocks?quantity=1&color=1

    • @XtremeAdventures671

      Glocks are perfectly reliable straight out of the box and arguably the most reliable pistol. Just like certain makes of automobiles and other firearm platforms like AR, there are many aftermarket parts and accessories available. I chose to accessorize and upgrade my Glock. To each their own.

    • @Viziry
      @Viziry 7 років тому

      DEMNTD1 Yes perfectly fine right ? when you add after market equipment you may cause a risk off failures just like voiding your warranty js

    • @XtremeAdventures671
      @XtremeAdventures671  7 років тому

      Yes totally agree that there may be chances of failure, failure happens on factory firearms as well. The key is to do in depth research on the parts and accessories (don't just jump on the bandwagon) and if you do make any modifications to go out to the range and test the firearm after each an every part installed. Additionally, if you frequently go to the range (which is highly advised) then you will be constantly putting rounds through your firearm to make sure it functions properly and flawlessly.
