It's still awesome seeing one of the best or the best extreme metal vocalist cover a Slayer song. The guy can do anything he wants at this point.
Damn, Logan from machine head got swoll as hell... I haven't seen that dude in years, since the 1990s! I remember when machine head opened up for slayer back in 1995 during their divine intervention tour.
I saw that show in Norfolk, VA. That was my 1st time seeing and hearing Machine Head. That show was fucking awesome and Slayer killed it. It was also the 1st tour with Paul Bostaph.
Check out his current band, Once Human! Incredible melodic death metal. Their singer, Lauren Hart, is one of the few women vocalists I've heard that rivals Angela Gossow in sheer ferocity.

How is it possible that everyone recording on their own miles and miles away from each other sounds better than most albums recorded in an actual studio?
I think most albums are recorded with each instrument separately and then compiled together by the producer. Their not all just sitting in the studio together jamming out, in other words.
because you cant half ass it. the takes you send forth HAVE to be good. other than the camera, i reckon this is exactly the same kind of business like in actual studio.
I have watched (some many times) all of the Slay at Home videos and there are a LOT of great performances. But this one (IMHO) is the best. The guitars, drums and bass are on fire and Travis just kills the vocals. This cover is insanely good.

Fun fact: Logan Mader doesn't own any shirts.
Him, Matt Pike, and Randy from Trailer Park Boys should start their own side-project.
If he wore a shirt now it would be super weird.
Maybe someone can Loan him one? Lol
Nor should he...
He spent all that money on those Paul booth tattoos, it’d be a waste covering them up lol
Brandon Ellis playing the solos in a Slayer song is a gift
Brandon playing "wonder wall" by oasis on guitar would be a gift. This is more like a winning the lottery lol.
