Absolutely SHOCKED. I have never seen anyone else give Travis the props he's due in regards to the goblin-high voice thing he does. This is also my favorite cattle decap albums, I love the black metal elements on it. Absolutely killer of an album.
ive seen plenty of people love the melodic vocals, but ive also seen people recently push back against them for being overused. Which i kinda get, but also dont. i think theyre awesome. Its weird going back to something off Monolith of Inhumanity, and seeing people call them sellouts for the melodic vocals
More Cattle Decap please. The Prophets of Loss, Kingdom of Tyrants, Your Disposal, Times Cruel Curtain, Death Atlas, Terrasitic Adaptation, Just Another Body. Preferably all of the above 😂 Love your videos. Best reaction channel on UA-cam
I think he'd love the slower songs, and maybe might be into the vocal harmonies, especially since hes down with the lyrics, i really hope he reacts to some of those songs in the near future.
I agree...I'm not into grind, not that this album is really grind, but it is an amazing album....like I'm not really into tech-death, but I love archspire. Some bands just go beyond
Great channel guys! I love the "chemistry" between the both of you! I would dig it if you could look into other music that explores themes of nature, spiritualism and environmental consciousness like Wolves in the Throne Room, Agalloch, Waldgeflüster or Panopticon.
Hell yeah, a Cattle Decap video! Probably one of my all-time favorite bands, ever. They've come so, so far since the days of Humanure. I still remember the day I picked up Bloody Karma in college and was like "wow they're getting good". Harvest Floor was sooo much better, and then since Monolith it's been like a rocket ship. Travis and this band not only helped shape me musically, but mentally and politically. He's spot on about using metal as a way to get a message across. I think I've stated it before, but if you're not gonna listen to someone who has concerns about earth, you sure as shit will hear them scream it. And no, you can NOT do the video for FGR on this site, haha. Oh, and that piano intro is perfect for the song.
@@VentryxI think it doesn’t work well with most of their songs, but on Monolith Of Inhumanity album it clicks perfectly for me and indeed enhances the material
This guy needs to be invited to the band Mechina, he'd love it. The best way i can describe them is a metal opera, piano, heavy guitars, absolutely insanely talented drummer, deep vocals, and cleans, their music is an art to behold.
The song "The Void from which no sound escapes" from Rivers of Nihil would be interesting as well I think. Or the WOKMN title song from the previous album
I love cattle decap. Their last 4 albums are just amazing in the heights it elevated them to. Solastalgia or death atlas would be good to show him their range.
CD is one of those bands that you love or hate. Very intense stuff. But they do care about the Earth and how we treat it. Which I can appreciate. I like em. I think some Carcass needs to be listened to if you're gonna get into Grind Core, or maybe some Napalm Death Anyway, another fun one. Thanks Richard and Judson.
Richard hit it right on the button. Death Atlas - Bring back the plague. Probably my favorite song from that album. I also like Your Disposal alot from Monolith. YD might be my favorite song they have ever done. You should show that to Judson. Manufactured Extinct is such a great song. I instantly fell in love with it too. I still have the Hoody with the album cover on the back of it. Instant buy as soon as they dropped it
Finally!!!! I think their history/ideology is important. At one point, the whole band was vegan, but after a few member changes, just the two now. Funny to mention animal rescues, I found 3 baby raccoons in my buick a few days ago, mama gave birth in there. They kinda wrecked the headliner which is a bummer, but I managed to entice mama to leave the car. She stayed close while I put the kits in a box, she took them to another spot one at a time. They were pretty cute.
Always wanted to check these guys out. That's a good song! I really like the concept behind the album. The timbre of the "clean" vocals reminded me of Mike Scheidt from YOB; another good band to make a video on! Long songs though.
Speaking of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, I was going to suggest Toxic Garbage Island if you guys ever revisit Gojira, but considering you've already done something from The Way of All Flesh, maybe Global Warming would be a good song instead. I don't know, whatever you guys decide to do, I've really been enjoying the videos so far and your chemistry together.
Very cool reaction. The lyrics of Travis Ryan are always on point. And with the way he screams those lyrics in the microphone, you have to believe him, also when you don't believe in it, if that makes any sense. I saw them live two months ago in the Netherlands. They killed the place.
I thought you'd get to Cattle Decapitation sometime soon, definitely didn't expect this track though! Good song nevertheless, here's hoping you'll do some more (maybe off Death Atlas or Terrasite next?)
I’d argue the album The Harvest Floor was where Travis first started introducing the vocals you’re talking about. Either way Cattle Decapitation has always been a favorite of mine.
I’m hoping this is his new favorite band. I never would have anticipated that he would like this one, but I’m glad he did. They are unbelievable live. Travis is a maniac on stage.
@Greatmeasures It's interesting how much their back story and ethos affected his thinking. No doubt gives some food for thought for future band choices.
I live in "Da Hood", when the Homies are hanging out in the alley behind my apartment making noise at night I put my Bluetooth speaker in the window and blast this exact song. They NEVER hang around until it's over!!
The garbage patch is not an island, that's what most people expect but you can't really see much there as far as I know, because most of the plastic is already shredded down to microscopic size, which makes it even worse.
One good choice after another! Have you listened to Kardashev by any chance? I'm kinda obsessed since listening to their song Snow-Sleep (those 80s synth vocals fit so well!) after just recently falling in love with The Zenith Passage and rediscovering The Faceless. I think Judson could really like Snow-Sleep by Kardashev! But i guess you already know them since the bands you wear the shirts of are basically my Playlist. Proceed, Richard!
@@nathanjudy7705 when i first listened to them i was under the impression that they have at least two vocalists. But no, there is only one singing in so many styles doing a tremendous job at each one! I listened to them like 10 hours non stop yesterday. The last band that got me hooked like that, being unable to stop listening was Pink Floyd almost 20 years ago. Deathgaze Daddy's rule!
Desperado, Great heart felt song , that & Bad Company, Bad Company . Oh yeah out here behind enemy lines California, You can’t have a plastic straw , you can have plastic tits & plastic lips 👄 , but you can’t have a plastic straw ? 😅
Pls do a reaction to Eternal Champion's 'I Am The Hammer'. ❤❤❤ Also, don't you think a band like Véhémence or Meleshesh would be more enjoyable to react to than Cattle Decapitiation? I think so.
Anthropocene and Monolith are peak Cattle Decap IMO. The newer albums are good but I think not quite as good. Maybe it’s just that their sound was so new with Monolith and now it’s getting to be a little bit like more of the same. 🤷♂️
Cattle Decapitation is one of those bands that managed to compose great small segments that sound cool but then throw everything together and the end result is just a huge mess. Just my opinion.

Richard you mentioned Soreption being on that tour, definitely consider showing them to Judson! "March of the Tyrants" may be a good pick
You should do some Anaal Nathrakh
We are witnessing the start of Judson's Metal Enlightenment.
Indeed, it is 100% starting to click for him

Always love a tender, artistic composure performed by a professional right before....CATTLE DECAPITATION.
I heard Judson wants to hear Job For a Cowboy now. lol
Yeah. Something off Genesis.
The Divine Falsehood
JfaC is not crazier than Cattle

Loved the philosophical post song commentary on this one. Very entertaining. Love the video, per usual!
Rejoice. One of the greatest bands in extreme metal. Saw them a few weeks ago as they toured, and slayed, Ireland.

'"Just another body" from last album is great.
The Beagles are that bad with copyright I had to censor my comment so they didn't know it was about them. 😅

"I hate the fucking Eagles, man."
You gotta give Judson some Iron Maiden or Blind Guardian or sth after this

Oh yes some heavy stuff man! Can't imagine what Judson will say, might be to much for him this time...
Theres so many choices for next song :D
Seeing a havok shirt🔥 Judson should react to some havok!!! Anyways I haven’t listened much to this band but their newer album is pretty damn good!!!

Yup, he's starting to mutate.
Waiting for The Black Dahlia Murder and Arch Enemy, please😁!
