Great video for someone that is currently modifying like me! Exhaust was definitely first upgrade I did. Completely changes the XSR’s character. Took those passenger pegs off a week or two ago. Cappuccino Moto it was a tough decision for me. Originally wanted to keep the OEM round brake light but went with the New Rage LED tail tidy. I was worried the brake light would not be visible enough but another youtuber Yammienoob installed it on a giveaway bike and it looks great and is still very visible.

After I got mine, first thing without a doubt- THAT HUGE FENDER. Scrapped that for a nice one, then from there I went crazy.. side panels, levers, engine covers, frame sliders.. the latest was the headlight and turn signals up front. So much nicer! Also I agree, tbh I didn’t realize how streamlined the bike is without the passenger pegs 😂

Cappuccino Moto oh I forgot to mention that wasn’t any particular order aha, the first thing I got after the fender was frame sliders tho. As for the light, I got one of the brogue kits! ( I’m profoundpotato on Instagram so I learned 😎 ) it was the 7” truck lite. They didn’t have any of the other ones in stock at the time, but I like the look of it. What an inspiration... "Get rid of reflectors, you don't need them" Probably get alot of hate from your subscribers, but yeah.. Do you need a helmet? Sure yes, it protects me in case of an accident. So it is a corrective action on an event (the accident). Telling your viewers (many of them probably being new riders) to get rid of the reflectors because they don't need them is so irresponsible.
Reflectors act preventative, so that you hopefully won't even "need" the helmet...

Nice stuff Jacob, your bike has always served as an inspiration to what I wanted to do with my own! Do you have a link to the headlight grill you have on the lamp?
The next mod I’m considering is the handlebars & levers. The levers mainly because I want to black them out...the handlebars I don’t really have a problem with, but I’ve heard from so many people how much a swap improves the handling...I’m not looking for a more aggressive position or look, but if it does mage the bike easier to navigate/more responsive, then I’m intrigued.
That Ozark ending though...?!?! Another show I’d recommend would be the Last Kingdom, season 4 starts next weekend, the 26th.
    Be well!

Thank you mucho! Headlight grill can be found from the source Max Inc over in china. you may have to email them if it's not on their webpage. Warning, it'll require a different front headlight housing ring. Levers are a must. Bars, up to you. Bars give it a different stance for me, but not much more of an 'ease' of handling i guess. Last Kingdom -- added :)

man you should really replace that rear light, youre talking about front headlight or turnsignals being huge while there is that huge circular thing behind your head :D if you like the circular design and you would like to take the style to higher level there is one from KIJIMA, and if youre not into round ones there is even a sleek looking stripe one

Man your exhaust looks so clean compared to mine :-( Something splashed onto mine and has made some of the logo decal erode... and my header pipes have banded strangely as opposed to that nice even yellowing. Oh and a plastic bag melted to the underside one day. Great. lol

After saying all of that lol, would you recommend your bike as a first street bike purchase, after I pass my class ?! So many people are saying how dangerous it is, easy to whiskey throttle and wheelie, etc etc.. What do you think ?!

Love the mods and attention to detail. I’m the same way! So, being that the height of the XSR700 is just a bit high for me, how much thinner is the brogue seat from the stock one? If I were to get one, I’d have the seat shaved. I would like to avoid using lowering links if possible, so as not to mess with the stance. Great video...Thanks!
