I had the privilege of seeing this on display at the Harley-Davidson bike show during 50th Daytona bike week in ‘91. Being a trucker I was absolutely amazed at the quality of build put into it. I’m so glad that it’s part of the museum now, I will be looking for it on my next visit.
@Si West why?
I was there. I saw this too. I was 14. I was on my 72' Honda CB500 chopper. Dad and I used to ride when I was a kid. He had an '88 Sportster 1200. We were in Daytona every year between '91 and '95. I have the pins on my vest to commemorate. Those were some of the best years of my life. I miss riding.
@@RA-ws7it sad that it's in a museum instead of being ridden going to shows and such. I'd be using the shit out of it
@@scootersonlyrepair6773 yes it’s a shame that people will never get to enjoy the rig in parades and shows anymore.
Oh my God❤❤❤
That is a fantastic addition to the museum!Real air brakes on the trailer….incredible.
As a truck driver and someone that owns and rides Harleys (and other bikes), I NEED one of those! What a super cool addition to the museum.
How fast are you going to clime a hill?
Yeah I saw it in Daytona the first time it was there.
@@oldmanfromoc7684 not very to not at all maybe?..
That rig is absolutely beautiful and amazingly put together. I love the fact that it's actually a camper
It's a camper, a semi-transport, a tuktuk, a potential mobile tiny-home and even a *sight for **_curing_** sore eyes*
The fact it was built in 1989 is the most impressive part - way beyond it's years IMHO - R.I.P. Kenny
Thats about the coolest thing ive ever seen! I bet your dad is smiling down like crazy watching you drive that around!!!
Smiling down? Please tell me his father is still with us.. I haven't been paying attention to the internet.
@@brianwills4398 he passed a few months ago sadly...his son is his twin! Amazing men indeed!!
Well dang. I didn't know he passed either. RIP. Amazing man.
This video just makes me smile. Matt is like a kid with a new toy. Love it!
I remember seeing it the year it was built, it made the show rounds! Have fun and enjoy Matt!
Thats so cool
I also remember when it 1st came out in the shows.
@@redneckswitwheels it was cool! But it shows our age?!
What happened to dale and how long ago?
Wow! That is the coolest ride I've ever seen.
That is a great addition to the museum , thanks for preserving America 🙏🇺🇸
It makes me happy to see people make sure these treasures of American history go the the right place !
There’s nothing more American than the flag, Harley-Davidson, and an American made passion project. An awesome addition!
Wrong. Democracy and our constitution are of sublime importance. Harleys and flags are window dressings.
@@carlmalone4011 obviously you don't get it where was your electric bicycle made?
Not a fan of harley but appreciate the craftsmanship of the build...
@@carlmalone4011 sit on it potsie
muurrica,!
Incredible, fitting tribute to HD's big rig!
That’s an amazing example of passion and generosity!
I will see you in April!
I remember seeing that at Daytona Bike week back in 1990
Congrats on the new, cool addition! Very cool piece.
You're right about Alabama -- since I have lived here the past ten years, every time i pull over on my bike to look at views, ret, adjust something - everytime, some one stops and asks if I need anything. Good people.
Hey!, Matt, I can't believe that rig sounds like a cross between a Harley and an eighteen wheeler. Very unique and a fantastic addition to Wheels Through Time Museum.
Beautiful Matt,,,,I'll see you in the summer!!!
Awesome Awesome Awesome 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖 😎 🙏🙏🙏
When you were pulling it out I thought it was the harley streamliner, didn't see that coming!!
You can support "The Musem That Runs" , and future content like this by heading over to wheelsthroughtime.com/gift-shop/ and picking up some of the latest Wheels Through Time merch!
Been down a few times and ya dad was always gracious with his time and knowledge. Maggie Valley is beautiful and the people very friendly. Look forward to coming down again.
God Bless Kenny and his family. Hope this encourages other folks to donate to the museum!!
Definitely the best custom idea I've ever seen.. that is a whole step beyond just cool.
Just put my WTTime T-shirt on for the first time. That is the greatest HD creation Ever. The sound through the stacks is magic. You have a nice new office now. Thanks Alabama for the roadside rescue
I wondered where this went, hadn’t seen it in a really long time. Awesome that y’all have taken the reigns on the preservation of another awesome piece of iconic Harley Davidson history.
Incredible! Can't wait to see it in person
My dad is the Harley mechanic that helped K.K. put this thing together. Kenny was a cool man. Good memories.
Harley big rig!!! 🐱👍🏿
Great addition! Looks like a I'll be there in April! Thanks for posting!
I love subscribing to this channel, love the museum and the gift Dale left us, and love that you've carried on his legacy and even taken it to the next level. Bravo.
That said, it seems like it's becoming the Harley-Davidson Channel; with so many old bike brands I feel like spending your enormous talent on yet another old HD may not be the best use of your enormous talents. Only my opinion of course. And I'll be back no matter what.
This is the craziest and simultaneously coolest Harley Creation I've ever seen😁
I remember over the years how many cool motorcycles Ive seen and yet again you get my attention big time. Happy New Years Matt glad to see you carrying it all on. Respect ✊ buddy
Wow that's impressive 👏 nice addition to the museum.
Absolutely love the thought and craftsmanship beautiful
Wow, the craftsmanship is just the highest!
that is one sweet ride look forward to seeing this in person
I used to dream about following my truck driver dad in my own rig. You built what I imagined! That is soooo cool!
I'm sorry for your loss! Just found out! Your father was a bad ass man! Your a lucky son to have him as a father!
So cool. I love both bikes and 🚛 semis.😍
Just when ya think things can’t get any cooler, this shows up! So badass!
My Grandpa "Hap" built a Truck style trike in the early 90s with a hydraulic tilt bed ... Ended up in Australia 🇺🇸
Woooooow!!!! I'm from AL and if not for a Google post and this post I wouldn't have ever known about this Harley rig. Incredible!!!! Gotta check out this museum too!!!!
That's a cool rig. You need some solar panels up on top, to help power everything.
WOW that is awesome , Kenny is one hell of a builder, great addition to your stable, I'm from Down -Under & if I get back to the USA I'm certainly gunna' make a visit.
Cheers..Skip
Wow that is truly awesome! What a story and what a piece of american history!👍
This is totally awesome , I got to meet Dale once and being a biker guy myself , it was one of the most enjoyable times of my life . I felt like I had known Dale all my life and we couldn't stop talking and laughing . You are definitely a chip off the block or really a chunk off the block my friend . Visiting Wheels Thru Time is definitely on my bucket list . Happy Trails 👣 and safe miles .
Love that rig and glad it’s getting the attention it deserves.I’ve already made my reservation just down the street from you guys for my toad trip down from Ohio. Been looking forward to seeing the museum for years when I used to watch it on television with my dad who has since passed.they visited a couple times in 2015 and 2016 and they met your dad and couldn’t get over how nice of a man he was,I would’ve liked to have met him but also looking forward to meeting you April 7th and 8th.keep up the great work you’re doing Matt with your dads legacy and that museum.
the coolest thing ive ever seen! I bet your dad is smiling down
Amazing piece of history
I visited the museum back in October and had a blast will visit again
Great! Shows the TORQUE of a Harley!!
Incredible! Real glad to see this being preserved for future generations to see this 8th wonder of the world😉
What a great moment while holding the flag and telling us about your dad and Kenny the man who built this treasure. You couldn't have scripted that any better. Perfect and true moment.
We had this rig out for our Evans Home for children run when we were with ABATE in Winchester Virginia. (Early 90's). Owner was a class act! Good to see it's still moving.
Absolutely love it, and now want to build one
Absolutely amazing fantastic one of a kind machine that’s for sure, great story behind it thank you for sharing glade your dad new all about it & now it’s at the museum.. Happy NewYear 💖 👍🏻 🇺🇸
Awesome piece for the museum, Matt! Have you ever thought about a wider tour of the WTT Museum property? Although some of the MC shops are in the museum, there must be a lot of other support for the place. What your dad built and left is a self sustaining museum., not just a collection of parts and MC's. And the stories! And this trike and trailer are no exception- hope you got some build pics and dope on the constructors and all! Fr
Do you have to wear a helmet in your state when you drive a tri-glide Kennyworth?
When I come up there, gimme the keys. Gotta take it for a spin! Cool ass ride.
Now you have to build a second trailer to go to swap meets. You are right that is so cool it needs to be at the museum. Now I'll have a list of questions about it
I remember seeing that thing a long time ago, I think in a magazine, before it had a trailer, I believe. Happy to see it as a whole build.
Man that is beautiful so comfy while driving plus when you go camping theres a mobile home trailer that baby is awesome
Incredible! 👍 Thanks Matt.👍
So awesome what a amazing talent he had. RIP Mr Kenny
Too cool! Can't wait to see it!
Showing LOVE. Have a Blessed day everyone and a Happy New Year
Custom motorcycles normally don't do anything for me (unless they're street trackers) but this thing is totally unique. The builder must have been one heck of a fabricator, engineer and mechanic.
Now that’s the only trailer that should show up at sturgis!
That’s freaking awesome!!!!!!! Sounds good!!!!
I knew that thing was somewhere here is Alabama. Cool to see it again and cool that you have it now and it will live on and not sit and rot away. Can't wait to come see the museum.
I want to show up at a HOG ride with that thing! Haha
Absolutely Ken was a maniac of the highest order. Very cool addition to the museum collection.
That rig is a iconic piece of history for Harley Davidson. One of a kind.
Very interesting and informative. Thank you.
man that's amazing me and my wife where just there about a months ago 😍 the place is amazing worth the trip guess we'll be making another trip to come see it in person
That is wild. I’ve never heard of this. Great addition. 👍🏻
Im at a lost for words on how freaking cool this thing is!!!
That bring back memories! We were at the York factory In the early 90's for an open house thing (or something like that) and this bike/truck was running the test track most of the day. From a distance it looked like a Semi running the track...
I'm 46 seconds into the video and this is already the greatest thing I've ever seen in my life
That’s one bike I could take on a camping trip!
I see these trucks and trailers on the freeway all the time coming from the Menomonee Falls engine plant. Eventhough I was only a temp (casual) employee at the PTO plant it was a childhood dream. I still have my plant ID it is my momento.
This is absolutely beautiful and priceless 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Kenny is not gone. Dude. His spirit rides with you. Best thing about about this masterpiece. " Made in America!" 👏👍🙏America rides again!
That thing is so pretty ! Kenny did an amazing job
I remember seeing this thing at a World of Wheels show in Tampa, FL in the early 90's
My dad drove big rigs all his life, worked on’em, everything and loved his Harleys. He was in the process of building a sportster with a springer front end when he passed and he’s got two Electra Glides here, one custom. Kinda hard to watch these videos makes me realize how much I miss him. Sorry for the sob story but, thanks for the content.
No sob story just life. Your comment brought a tear to my eye. I'm 35 and I am very lucky my dad is still around. Peace from Canada.
@@TheMlc4life, thanks man, means a lot. I’m glad you still have him and value him. Have a great one.
Merry Christmas for Matt!!!Man you need to start videoing all your search and rescue missions for the museum. Get some gopros
Amazing!!!! thats why i love USA!
See now I have to go see you guys. You keep coming up with the coolest things. This truck / bike trailer is a testament to the brand it is stamped with . The fact that you have acquired it is a testament to your love of history of bikes. That would be so cool to have as a camper. I'll be curious to see if I don't get tagged again. Last video I watched showed up on facebook. After commenting on how awsome you and your museum is I got tagged with my comments do not meet community standards. Only thing i said that could be misconstrued was that I was afraid that if i went to your museum that i was afraid that I'd want to stay and be a part of what you do there.
Believe it or not in expressing my love for what you guys do I got tagged with a community standards post. It's really getting out of hand.
Believe it or not, I, as God-fearing, 66-year-old grandmother, was banned from Plenty of Fish within the first couple hours after I signed up, and just the other day, I got kicked off Pinterest! I have no idea why, and it's impossible to talk to a site administrator. 😕
Incredible creation! Never seen anything like it.
I just learned your only 2 hrs away from me I can’t wait to come see this thing and everything else you guys have that’s awesome
That is the coolest rickshaw Evo Harley-Davison/big rig “thing” I have ever seen. I don’t what to call it. Just Awsome😯
Too cool
All I can say is wow and WOW again!! 👌 👏 YOU GUYS 🪨!
That's the coolest thing I've ever seen!
I want one !! I already have a trike. This thing is the coolest thing I've seen over my 60 years.
Awesome! See y’all in April
Hell yeah! That’s awesome!
It's amazing when people care and Love you
Badass Rig, may the builders legacy live on forever!!!
