I think we all need that “port in a storm” somewhere we find that’s safe and comfortable. For many of us you, my friend, are our port in the storm. Thank you.
Thank you, fascinating. Tried it, but i'm not that skilled yet, so bit muddy. And thank you for the background music. Not the ding dong, but the male and female singers.its nice to work with that? What is the name of the group?
You are loved- love your ability, your humor, and your wonderful instruction- you’re the best!!!
Thank you so much!
Paul, you are my favorite. Inspiring. Funny. Sweet. One of your videos always brings about peace after a day in the life. I'm grateful and I learn so much, mostly about the fact that I NEED to relax, in my odding er painting but odding too, and my soul. *aaaahhhhhhhhhh*
Hi to The Other Voice!
Love the story and dream behind this painting!
Not been so well recently. Paul. Have been looking for a new hobby now so many of my old ones are out. This has really inspired me to try watercolour and try to capture my Cornish gate lodge! Thanks, man. Really appreciated.
👏🏻👍🏻🥰Very soothing video maestro! When a whisper is more effective than a shout .
Yes, thank you - love that!
Realy nice country scene. I like it very much. Thank you for sharing your paintings with us. 🥰
Really enjoyed this painting, a very believable scene. Think I would love to go in for a pint and some shepherd's pie after a nice winter walk
Thank you so much 😀
I enjoyed watching you create this painting and the music was so peaceful. I was amused by your dream. Going to have to find tjis destination in real life. It must exist somewhere! Thank you for this lesson.
I love your video. I try to 🎨 every day to reduce my depression. It helps! Thank you so much!
Delighted to help in any way!
I watched few watercolor artists they are all talented. I enjoyed your work the most. You make it easy and what I love and appreciate is mixing the colors.
the name of the paint and the brushes you use for each painting you do. Thank you. I love and enjoy painting Its my hobby. I'm 92 years old. from NY USA
Thanks Paul, Don Rose here in Calabash, North Carolina, USA. A wonderful lessen and, a great dream, scene.
Always LOVE your work Paul and your sense of humour! You made me fall in love with watercolour, even though I’m not very good at it ….Yet!?
Thanks Ann - you'll get there!
Absolutely delightful Paul and even your music choice is dreamy.....
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Paul 👍definitely a Christmas card project .
Hello Mr. Clark I watch this episode before and I did painted this winter landscape and framed and I love it thank you
Wonderful! - great to hear!
first ever water colour I have done Thank you
Good evening dear Paul! Now I watched your video and got 26 minutes of positive and enjoying art! Thank you. Great show!
The picture turned out to be alive. The paper itself draws, and the paint blurs into images without a brush. It’s a miracle, how interesting! You can’t paint with oil like that, you have to smear it with a brush.
Painting is not production, it is an impulse of the soul when there is a mood! I don’t like orders, but I do all kinds of work myself, because. there are deadlines for the delivery of work to the customer and nit-picking to work, besides, the picture may not coincide with the customer's expectation!it drives and obliges as a slave, I do not feel free. I don’t like it, that’s why I don’t take orders. A beautiful card for the upcoming Christmas turned out, and most importantly, with my own hands! This concludes my comment and I wish you dear Paul, as always, good luck and good health, don’t get sick and don’t drink cold water from crane🤣🤣🤣!Bye....bye...😊🖼️👩🎨🎨🌨️🌨️❄️❄️🖐️🤗
There are a couple of Snowdrop Inns but none as lovely as yours. The scene brought tears to my eyes and fond memories of my early life in the UK ❤️
Ahhh, lovely to hear - thanks so much!
Thanks! You are an awesome teacher Paul.
That’s a pretty vivid dream! 😊
Questo è proprio meraviglioso un cartolina di Natale che ci riporta indietro nei tempi . Grazie Paul
Grazie Gemma!
Hello, I am a beginner, from France. Your tutorials or step by step are very helpfull for me. I like very much what you do and I want to thank you for teaching in such a nice way.
You're very welcome!
Brilliant, would love the
Shepherds pie!
Yup - one of my favourites!!!
I copied you as closely as I could. I get in less trouble that way😉. My wife especially liked this project. I think it’s the style of not taking the painting to the borders. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon.
Fantastic! Nice little pub. See you there! 😊
As always your choice of music turns the experience of watching you paint into a real pleasure. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and skills with us.
Always a pleasure to watch you!
Another lovely painting. Looks like a place you would want to stop by and enjoy.
Stunning! Can't wait to paint it. Sending you a big hug from Puerto Rico ❤️
I really like the tree you drew!
I really hope that one day I can draw such a charming tree with confidence!
If the tree is not painted well, the painting will not be perfect either.
Thanks - you can do it!
Thank you again Mr. Paul. I wish I could go there and eat some of that shepherd's pie. Your painting is a magic wonderland indeed. Merry Christmas!!
You are very welcome
Dear Paul, thank you for supporting my country Ukraine. This is very important for me and our people. I draw with you all the time. Thank you very much.

Thank you, Paul, that is another lovely one! I would be tempted to go and find that pub! ( Love the music, too!)
Glad you enjoyed it
Lovely picture of a Dream of a village Cottage Pub...made me feel warm and relaxed ( despite the snow) with the added bonus of an impeccable painting tutorial
Thank You Paul !!!
Delightful. Inwould stop sooner and call it good. Details are so key
Thank you Paul. Here in Buffalo New York we expect to be greeted with four feet of snow by Saturday. Not looking forward to that, but I will say, Your painting puts a beautiful spin on the whole prospect of winter.
Definitely going to try this one thanks Paul!
Delightful. A recurring dream with a happy ending. You may want to stop in tonight for a hot toddy. The finishing touches the following day were perfect. Thanks.🧉
So beautiful Paul. The stuff of dreams!
Cheers Louis!
Did this one today, love how it turned out. Doing windows is always frustrating for me but still very happy with it, thank you!

Thank you so much. I think occasionally using real life time helps, but I think the time of your lessons is perfect! Your editing and film speed actually helps and I learn so much from your lessons. Plus, I really enjoy them! Thanks again!
What a great painting Paul it's inspiring me to have another try at watercolours
You should!
Thank you so much. Lovely winter scene which I enjoyed watching and copying 😊
You’re welcome 😊
Your dream sounds like a memory of a past life, Paul! Lovely painting. I am partial to the vignette style. Thank you for the fabulous tutorial!
Glad you enjoyed it
you are the best teacher!
Thank you! 😃
love this one Paul best all year for me
Very lovely, Paul! Great imagination in your dreams. Thanks for sharing this one with us, and breaking it down so that even us beginners can do it. Love to you both from the US. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it Christine!
Just awesome Mr. Paul.
Thank you very much. I really enjoyed watching and that inspired me to go and start painting!! 🥰
I'm so glad!
Whilst watching the tutorial, I thought to myself 'hang on a sec, I've seen this place before, that's the artist Charles Evans' house in Acklington Northumberland'. I don't know if you've both met before being watercolour artists, but very strange and so similar, spooky to say the least. This painting is great!, must have a go. Keep up the good work, I look forward to your lessons.
Hi Rick - thanks and it must be one of those strange coincidences as I've not met Charles Evans.
Beautiful picture and I loved your story. Enjoy the holidays!
and you! - thanks!
Love it! Cheers!
Beautiful painting, I hope it will be a real winter here in the Netherlands this year, but I will paint it anyway. Thank you very much for the great lesson.
Oh Paul, you are just incredible. You are such a talented man. This is one of my absolute favourites. I have commented on your paintings before and shared that we live in Australia and my husband has been going through a cancer journey. Because of this I havent been able to paint for some time but he has now finished his treatment so to treat ourselves we have taken a trip to Canada to visit our daughter and her family who have lived there for the past 2 years. We thought that we would experience our first white Christmas but unfortunately that wasnt the case this last Christmas. While here i have been taking the opportunity to watch your tutorials again to try an get inspired to have another go at watercolour painting and yes, thanks to you i have been inspired again and have tried to do a litle more painting. You are just amazing. I love, love, love your work, you teach so well and make it look so easy and get me thinking that maybe even i could achieve something to be proud of. My dream would be to be able to paint even half as well as you do. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us. Bless you.
Lovely comment Sue, many thanks ... and hope all goes well with your husband.
Merci beaucoup, et c’est superbe comme toujours !! 😀🙏👏😊
Absolutely Marvelous !! Loved it , your techniques and bringing the painting to life by the tiny minute details. Just marvelous. I love shepherds pie, and Cotswold. 😍😍😍..Britain is such a beautiful place. With its history and quaint small towns. All very pituresque , your paintings reflect that magic. Thank-you , so much for all the videos you make for us. I will definetly try this. Have saved many pictures of cotswold to paint. 😊 Thank-you again. 🥰🙏
Thanks
Brilliant as always Paul, I can just just imagine sitting by the log fire with a pie and a pint myself. Hope you find the meaning of your dream or maybe just wishful thinking ?
Thank you R. Clark I follow you and did came out real nice you are the best and I mean it
What a nice, beautiful and lovely dream. I want to visit the Snowdrop inn.
You should .. I hear they are using it as a small hotel too!!!
Just so lovely….your limited palette use is so inspiring and encouraging to a new painter like me. This is so cozy, I would certainly drop in - hopefully they have some lentils stewing too. 🌱😉
I just love snow scenes. This is absolutely lovely.
You are hilarious with your dream stories & your breaktime. The background trees - magical.. Lov the white gouache touches-really adds a magical touch in the end…
Glad you enjoyed it!
God, that is beautiful. Thanks!! I heard you say something at the beginning about usually not banging in the middle...I'm sorry. When I hear the word 'bang' I go blank for a minute. Gonna give you a beer!
So nice!
Smiling, as I thoroughly enjoy another Wonderful Wednesday while watching you put paint to paper and produce the pure magic that you seem so effortlessly to share with us week after week. As we all step into your dream and join you by the fire at the Snow Drop Inn, we raise our mugs and share a toast to a healthy and happy holiday season for all. Cheers, my friend! ❄️👩🦳🍻
Thoroughly enjoyed today's video. Love the music and voice over instruction. Your public house is very inviting!
I love It! I would make the door red tone.
Thanks for the charming picture!
Thank you too!
Wonderful as usual 👍👍
Thanks Parvin!
As usual fantastic Tutorial and Painting. Will be having a go later
Have fun!
Dear Paul,
Love the soft muted colours. Especially the softness of the trees in the background. It’s a very fitting scene today for us as we are having our first snowfall of the season in Montreal . It’s a lovely white ❄️winter wonderland outside our window.
I look forward every Wednesday for your lovely videos. Thank you Lorraine🙂
feeling chill beautiful 😍 cozy house superb thankyou so much
Many thanks!
Wonderful story and demo, Paul. Who knows? Maybe someday you’ll actually come across this little pub… in The Twilight Zone? :) And thank goodness for those friendly bar maids.
Paul I love that you painted from a dream. I am a dream interpretation coach so I appreciate this aspect of painting inspiration. Any time you have a reoccurring dream, it is because your subconscious is telling you to pay attention and it keeps having to give you the same message over and over. A car in a dream symbolizes your body so if your car keeps breaking down then I suggest you pay attention to something going on with your health. Walking is the forward motion you are going towards a state of mind (pub) where knowledge (shepherds pie) is available. This is a very short simple interpretation. I love everything you do.
Cheers Paula, that’s all very interesting 👍
I LOVE this! 💜 I love snowy scenery with a warm place to go to. And I love that this was inspired by your dreams. Thanks so much Paul Clark! 🙏🏻
Amazing. Alhamdulillah awesome. Go ahead.
Good afternoon, dear Paul! It is a fairy tale scene what reminds us of winter happiness and warmth inside the house. A great painting to present for Christmas. Keep dreaming and teach us to put this in reality! Thank you for great tutorial. Greetings from Moldova, Lilia Birnaz

It's a beautiful painting Paul. I'm going to show it to Joy. I'm sure she'll love it too. When it comes to painting joy and my cat cooter are my biggest fans
Those fresh eyes the next morning really make a difference don't they? The falling snow was a perfect touch! Fun to watch your process as always. 👍🏻👍🏻
Yes! Thank you!

Wow! - thanks so much!
It felt so great to be able to paint my picture simultaneously with the video. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Love from Istanbul.
