I bought this bag from AON as soon as it dropped and I really wanted to love it (I did love it in many ways) but ultimately I returned it because 1) I didn't love the stiffness / lint magnet of the VX50 material, 2) the water bottle pockets fold to a point rather than expanding flat at the bottom which made my relatively small water bottle feel really jammed in there, 3) the way the panel folded right along the middle of the bottom pockets was is real pain and a serious design flaw, 4) the stiffness made it tough to get my laptop in and out of the pocket, 5) the rough material on the straps scratched up the inside of my arm when wearing short sleeves, and 6) it ultimately was just s bit too big and boxy for my fairly minimal EDC. This bag looks great, the pocketing is nice and the back panel is very comfy, but all the little issues made it hard to use day to day. Maybe it would have broken in over time, but for the price I couldn't justify keeping it
@@josipX For the time being im just gonna keep using my Pacsafe Metrosafe LS450, which has a lot going for it (good size/shape, great organization, nice bottle pockets) but I don't love the back panel or harness system (although seems like they've since come out with a V2 that may have improved on those). Still waiting for Evergoods to put bottle pockets on the CPL24 😅. Otherwise I'm still on the hunt for my "perfect" everyday bag
Should just get a 1.5 full. I have 4 of them LOL and a Lite. It’s literally a legend in the carry community I don’t know why people avoid it. You can get them for $150-180 NWOT on the secondary still. The Whitley is also great in 500d.
@@nmarkus666Ive asked on the carryology Facebook, and got overwhelmingly "ItS tOo HeAvY!" As the response. Idk. I've had a 1.5 lite as my edc for a year. I love it. Honestly the new 1.0x and the new 1.5 look like flops to me. Just carryology collab-esq, over hyped materials, and no actual innovation. This looks markedly worse than the 1.5 in basically every possible actually measurable way besides weight and flashy names of materials.
Hey there. Thanks for sharing your detailed experience! It's valuable feedback for both the brand and carry enthusiasts. We'll forward this to the brand and hopefully, future designs will address these concerns! Cheers!
Great review. If you're still using your Evade 1.5, keep in mind part of its appeal was also how customizable it is, because you can remove all of the compression & bungee straps you mentioned (with the exception of the load lifters). I tend to run mine in "slick mode" like this, & it's way more user-friendly as well as cleaner-looking.
Hey there. Weight definitely matters. Your feedback helps us showcase products that meet high standards, thanks for your honesty and sharing your thoughts!
Hello. According to the manufacturer's website, the water bottle pocket is designed to hold the Hydroflask Trail up to 24oz only. We hope this helps. Cheers!
Thank you! We're glad you enjoyed the video. We currently don't have the admin panel in stock, but we plan to offer it in the future. Keep an eye on our website for updates:)
Thank you for your feedback! We're only selling it now for a discounted price of $496. Kindly check this product link>>>rushfaster.com.au/products/alpha-one-niner-16-evade-1-0x-21l?_pos=1&_sid=44ad3ceee&_ss=r
Does rushfaster have a brick and mortar location? Heading up to Australia in two months and would love to see it if so. There’s so many bags i want to see in person but it would be such a hassle to buy/return them.
As of now, we don't have a brick-and-mortar store available but please don't hesitate to contact us through chat or email for any enquiries about our products. We'll be happy to assist. Cheers!
I think this could be a great upgrade from my old 5.11 rush backpack. By the way, could you tell me what sunglasses case you use? I check the other gears section but it is missing.
Totally get where you're coming from! The Alpha One Niner Evade 1.0X is definitely an investment, but it's built to last and offers top-notch functionality.
This bag uses very high quality materials and looks very premium. It's a huge upgrade in terms of looks compared to the old Evade. Funny you mentioned that the X50 feels like a mix of Cordura and Xpac, because that's exactly what it is.
Hi! Appreciate your input. Our reviews primarily consider audience preferences, partnerships, sponsorships, and relevance to our viewers. We acknowledge the exceptional quality of Crumpler bags, given their impressive durability. Please continue to follow our channel for any potential updates!
@@RushfasterTV fair enough. I just wish there were more reviews on crumpler bags. I always see review on so many other bags but never on crumpler. I’ve been looking for a new tech bag and toiletry bag recently and it just so hard to compare when I can’t find reviews of the bags I’m looking for.
This bag looks really slick and professional for office work in suit or casual
Right? Totally agree 🙌

which one are you going for instead?

Good tip! This is great 👌 Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
Nice looking bag. 3.5 pounds empty is kind of heavy though. Especially for a 21L bag.

Hydroflask trail comes in different sizes as well. Have one in 32oz which I would assume doesn’t fit then

The bag isn’t for me, but I love that interior colour and material! I wish more companies would use something other than bright orange.
Thanks for watching! We're glad to hear that you love the interior colour and material :)
Good reviews, waiting for osprey products to be review
I know these bags are all about quality, and I love quality, I really do! but $670? especially with the recent RBA rates!!!

hey mate, what are the specs on the wristwatch??
Hey! Appreciate your comment! That's a Serica WMB Edition Black Broad Arrow. We hope you enjoyed the video. Cheers!
Why does no one do review crumpler bags. I love their lifetime warranty and how durable they are

Good question! The Mantra Office Pro Backpack looks very nice. But almost no reviews…
The new GOAT
It is!
