I've been wondering for over 20 years how Nas and GZA let the '90s go by without ever appearing on a track together. That never made sense to me. They were two of the most prolific lyricists of the '90s, along with Black Thought.
Nas is so beloved by his peers because he reminded them of the greats they grew up listening to. Q-Tip said it best during the making of Illmatic interview back in the day. "Nas has an old school heart."
A young 16 year old Nas was like a young Moses Malone breaking into the NBA with no college...they mentioned Rakim and Ra was 18 with that Paid In Full Album that's hella young too with those types of rhymes
@@scienz : I don’t see what the hype is about Hitboy at all. On Benny’s new album the production was done by Hitboy and Alchemist… ALCHEMIST killed Hitboy hands down 💯

Peace To The Gods!! “The Original Rock The Bells” by LL Cool J; is far and away better than anything Nas ever wrote. From a linguistic perspective it’s not even close. RZA did you forget that song by LL? That joint is like 7:13 seconds in length. No guest verses or features and lyrically amazing! As he states he was a “ immortalized B-boy prodigy”. He referred to Shakespeare’s Macbeth; as the “Thane of Cawdor”! Seriously 😐 lol. Do any of you realize how dope that was/is? LL was 16 when he penned that !? LL Cool J was Bobby Fischer; also Rakim.

When I heard that "...more kicks than a baby in a mother's stomach..." line I knew he was forever!
Forgive me lord Jesus for saying this, but I suppose “when I was twelve, I went to hell for snuffin’ jesus” didn’t?
Nas on investigative reports would of been 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 that beat was crazy
I prefer that to verbal intercourse to be real. Would love to hear that verse!
Now I kinda wish he was on that instead when I put that verse and dark boom bap beat together in my head.
Nas on investigate reports, I need to hear that
RZA Said it lost
Facts
RZA lost all kinds of sh*t during that flood. I hate that because there is a lot of music/albums he created that got destroyed.
that shit would be crazy.
We need that to come out!!!!
Love these conversations between my great mcs
Verbal Intercourse my fav track of all time. So I am happy Nas verse end up on it. Lol :)
Rza said it! Protégé!
RZA was at His apex for that Album peaking with Liquid Swords
"Kidnap the President's wife without a plan" 👌🏿
nas will always be the GOAT
No he won’t. Pac and jigga will always be ahead of him. Sorry.

Dope interview on the Bridge Podcast 👍🏾
Nas on Investigative Reports would’ve been crazy 🔥🔥 Nas has always been an unofficial member of the Wu 💯
give us a RZA produced Nas album please
Listen to Lost Tapes 2, RZA did 2 beats for Nas… “ Tanasia and Highly Favored “ 🔥🔥

Everyone forgets that Special Ed wrote his album at 15 and dropped it at 16 , he deserves credit as well for being a Master or Prodigy MC

Nas the 12th member of the Wu❤
Where was this audio from?!?!? What podcast or interview?
I always felt that Investigate Reports was more of a CL track than LS. If they replaced Nas' verse with Gza's , this confirms it
i think youre right. there was an overlap between OB4CL and LS 'cause RZA was handling production
Damn I need to hear dat nas investigative reports verse

Love nas and wu but I don’t think that verse would have fit the investigative reports beat.
