this is my favorite trichocereus collection on You Tube... although there is one just as good, this one is my style of growing, but in the desert...I love all the textures of all the different varieties and cultivars...
I'd say it's pretty close. I don't really know what I'm doing with fertilising other than just give everything but also learning more as I go I just need less humidity and then it's perfect. Thankyou 😁
I discovered years ago that the cheapest pots are actually a 10 litre bucket with holes drilled in the bottom. Still a dollar each after all these years but the quality has dropped quite a bit and I think they're now 9.6 litres.
You have a great collection of Trichos. I have a much younger growing collection. My last years babies are about 1 foot to 1 1/2ft tall now. I have about 15 new hybrids to grow on now. Amongst my favourites in my greenhouse. I like all the variation in your hybrids.
I hope to get this many in future. Currently have a lot but constantly getting more. I got a farm so room isn't an issue. I gave up on tags and have numbers and a book full of what they are. My little sharxx blue are actually almost brown.
Do you water and/or feed them during the winter? Or do you just let the rain take care of it? I'm also in Sydney and get basically the same conditions as you. Cheerz
Not meant to water in winter. I'm going to have fun trying to get all mine under cover next winter but should be able to do it once I clean out the verandah.
Well I'm in Australia and so the winter here we hardly Get frost so I never get problems through winter infact most of them just keep growing through winter.
@@wizard2755 well it gets down to 4 degrees where I am and mine seem fine with it. Maybe the seedlings struggle if they are out in the open and they are too small. But I try and keep them sheltered a bit.
@@wizard2755 you know they go thru frost no problems. They are originally from the really high mountains of peru. I sunburnt a bunch of mine moving them into full sun too quickly. Down here in Victoria we get frosts often enough

Did no one else notice the rainbow in the sky at 7:05, magical video!
Yes such blue cacti with a rainbow in the distance 🙌🏼🌈
Your growing conditions must be ideal to grow such beautiful cacti. These are the most amazing I’ve seen. The Lumberjack x sharxx is 🚀💙

For both the big boys and the seedlings. Thanks.
Don't water the big boys at all in winter unless they are shriveled or something. The seedlings get watered whenever the soil is fully dry.
@@CurtsCactus awesome thank you :)

Australia
Sydney Australia. They're legal in 3 states including my state of Victoria. My collection is pretty good but not this big
Do you ever sell seeds?
Not at the moment due to the fact that none are flowing yet. Hoping this year I might get a few flowers.
Fingers crossed you get some flowers some time soon
And I’m poor AF…..
I'm buying 2 year old ones for $5-$8 on ebay. Big ones are like $60 or more.
