Bro I literally got the same one you got in this vid so I had it in my older p5 console basically the first model and it worked perfectly but now I just got the slim and I tried putting the one I had in the old console to the ps5 slim and it don’t work like as if the console doesn’t read it
If you turn on the ps5 and its not showing u have it installed on the start up screen. That means you need to open it up again and replace it into the ps5 again. Thats what happend to me. It works perfectly now
so does this increase the general system storage or create a new storage area if so then can I still play the games on the new storage area on demand and will they show on my Home Screen?
Make sure to get an m2 with a heatsink, or a heatsink for it if it doesn't come with one (this wd has it obvs and is great and caused no problems) I got the same one.
It's not false advertisement, they literally state that some storage is used for the console systems updates, etc This is for ANY modern console, pc, laptop, phone, tablet, etc
