      @@bobbybooshae8720I think they are saying, without debt you can save and invest your money. If you have debt you’ll be paying that instead.
      And yes some MOSs won’t be available with debt or poor credit. Like jobs that require a security clearance. The thought being you may be tempted to sell classified information.

      @@bobbybooshae8720 I think as in general, if you have debt you pay that off before saving/investing so you don’t get destroyed by interest.
      There could be more to it but the general rule is to pay off debt->save->invest

    Make sure you study ALL your options. I served with many excellent (former) Soldiers in my USAF career, a few Marines and some prior Sailors who did their first hitch, saw the writing on the wall and choose wisely. Even if you think you only want to do one enlistment, prepare to do a career so you'll have that advantage and remember you'll be old far sooner than you imagine. Federal retirement however you put that together is the ONLY safe retirement. I haven't felt a recession since 1981. Check out Guard and Reserve slots too and find people who do the actual jobs you're considering.

    My recruiter told me a lie... join the airborne and learn to fly.... I enlisted so long ago they were still issuing spears and sandals... 1981 MOS 05C later 31C... after 11 years around 92 they were phasing it and me out and so 11 years wasted... I did seek to reclass as 11B and they denied it... sad day when an Army says it has enough foot soldiers... the Army did give me $30k which helped to transition to civilian life... would I do it again? Nope....

    Hi, I had a very important, serious and vital question. Well, I am an Iranian who lives in Iran. And so did my father and grandfather, as well as my uncle and cousin, and strangely enough, most of my family served in the military Army in Iran.! And I personally, considering that I have lived 25 years of my life among the army and military men's and poeple in Iran! But in general, I am interested in America and the American culture and the way of life in it. And even we have relatives in America! But my main question is, considering that the United States has various military bases in Iraq, Can I go to Iraq, and go to one of these American military bases? And to be employed in the US Army? Is it possible? Because this case is about my life and death!

    I’m retired army, I served in Korea, Germany and several US bases, I was also a recruiter and a drill sergeant, even an instructor, in recruiter school we were told never lie, but also never volunteer any information, i’d actually did tell the truth, and Fort Lewis was near us. I used to take my Deps, all the time to show what they were getting into, my first sergeant used to tell me don’t do that, but I did it anyway, and all the people I put in knew what they were getting into. I also believe your service is what you make of it, if you wanna sit around and drink beer with the guys and complaining about how much you hate the army I’m sure you’re gonna hate it, when I got to my first unit as an E2 18 months later, I was an E-5 , a lot of guys that were E4 when I got there as a private, we’re still E4 when I was a sergeant, and when I ran to them years later, they were E fives and I was an E-7,than E-8,, a good friend of mine came in a high school dropout and retired with a college degree and CSM! I actually believe your time in army is what you make of it. I don’t wanna hear any horror stories about stuff because I was out there too.

      When I was stationed at Ramstein I would insert chem lights into my anus. I would wait til it was dark and then I would drop my pants and push it out in the Baracks. I did this until I pushed to hard and a chocolate hot dog came out after the chem light. My CO was not happy.

    Hey Jon first off I want to say thank you for your hard fought service to this country, I really appreciate it especially coming from the service myself but I only did 1 contract lol… anywayss thanks I’ve always looked up to special operators like yourself. I wanted to ask how is 75th or SF these days is it worth joining? I’m thinking of going in again with a buddy program into SF or regiment but I’m not to sure if it’s a good time. My reasons for joining is to get trained up and learn and go on missions with a team as well as stop bad guys.

    • @InfiniteGrit
      @InfiniteGrit  Рік тому +2

      Hey brother, I appreciate the support! I can't speak much to the 75th as I never served over there. I was in the 160th then went SF. It's pretty good overall. Being on a team was some of the most fun and fulfilling years of my life and wouldn't trade the experience for anything. You are still in the army so definitely still deal with bureaucracy to an extent but not as much as on the conventional side of things.

      @@InfiniteGrit , *AMERICAN, ARE YOU A MAN OR A COWARD?*
      *THE UNITED STATES SEEMS TO BE A NATION MOSTLY MADE UP OF COWARDS THESE DAYS. SO COWARDLY, THAT SIXTY POLICE OFFICERS COULD BE MURDERED IN FRONT OF AMERICA'S FACE WITH IMPUNITY!!!*
      *ARE YOU A MAN OR A COWARD?!*
      *DO WHAT I DID! MAKE THESE PHONE CALLS!*
      *CALL THE POLICE!*
      ANY PERSON CAN CONFIRM THE ONE FACT THAT IS STATED.
      *NO EXCUSE!*
      CALL YOUR LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT AND CALL THE NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND TELL THEM THIS;
      *THERE IS AN UNSOLVED MASS MURDER CASE OF SIXTY POLICE OFFICERS.*
      THE GOVERNMENT AGENCY NIST (NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGY) WAS GIVEN THE RESPONSIBILITY TO INVESTIGATE THE COLLAPSE AND DESTRUCTION OF THE WTC 1 AND 2 BUILDINGS.
      *FACT:* NIST FAILED TO *PROVE* IF SIXTY POLICE OFFICERS WERE MURDERED BY CONTROLLED DEMOLITION OR IF THEY WERE NOT MURDERED BY CONTROLLED DEMOLITION.
      NIST'S VERY OWN, PUBLICLY AVAILABLE,* INVESTIGATIVE REPORT IS *PROOF* OF THE FACT JUST STATED.
      NIST'S INVESTIGATION STOPPED AT THE MOMENT THE TOTAL COLLAPSE OF EACH BUILDING *BEGAN.*
      LESS THAN FIVE PAGES OF NIST'S ENTIRE REPORT IS ABOUT WHAT CAUSED THE MURDER OF SIXTY POLICE OFFICERS.
      *AFTER* THE START OF THE TOTAL COLLAPSE, NIST SAYS EACH BUILDING CAME DOWN "ESSENTIALLY IN FREE FALL, AS SEEN IN VIDEOS".
      WHAT THIS STATEMENT MEANS, IN TERMS OF PHYSICS, IS THAT VERY LITTLE OF THE KINETIC ENERGY OF THE FALLING BUILDING PARTS ACTUALLY CAUSED ANY OF THE DESTRUCTION.
      WHEN AN OBJECT IS IN FREE FALL, THE FALLING OBJECT IS DOING NO WORK AS THE OBJECT IS FALLING. THIS IS PHYSICS 101. "ESSENTIALLY IN FREE FALL" MEANS LITTLE WORK IS BEING DONE BY THE FALLING BUILDING PARTS TO CAUSE DESTRUCTION.
      IF *YOU* CLAIM IT WAS NOT A CONTROLLED DEMOLITION THEN *YOU* ARE CLAIMING THAT *ONLY* THIS SMALL AMOUNT OF THE GRAVITATIONAL POTENTIAL ENERGY CAUSED THE TOTAL COLLAPSE AND *ALL* OF THE DESTRUCTION OF THE WTC 1 AND 2 BUILDINGS.
      *NIST NEVER PROVED THIS!*
      IT IS EASY TO PROVE OR DISPROVE CONTROLLED DEMOLITION BY DOING A NET ENERGY STUDY. A NET ENERGY STUDY WOULD COMPARE THE ENERGY *ACTUALLY USED* TO CAUSE ANY DESTRUCTION TO THE AMOUNT OF *ENERGY NEEDED* TO CAUSE *ALL* THE DESTRUCTION SUCH AS OCCURRED ON THE DAY OF 9-11-01.
      ANY COMPETENT ENGINEERING COMPANY COULD DO IT!!!
      LET'S GET THIS INVESTIGATION STARTED!!!!!!
      THE QUESTION EVERY AMERICAN MUST ASK THEMSELVES IS THIS;
      .
      *WILL YOU LET THIS STAND?*
      THIS IS NOT 'ANOTHER' INVESTIGATION, THIS IS THE *FIRST* INVESTIGATION INTO THE MURDER OF SIXTY POLICE OFFICERS. THEY WENT INTO THOSE BUILDINGS TO SAVE LIVES. DO NOT DISRESPECT THEM OR THEIR MEMORY!!!
      *WILL YOU LET THIS STAND?*
      IF YOUR ANSWER IS NO, THEN *PLEASE* DO THESE THREE THINGS;
      1. FIRST, CONFIRM WHAT I AM SAYING IS TRUE.
      THIS IS PUBLICLY AVAILABLE INFORMATION. THE NIST REPORT.
      2. CALL YOUR LOCAL POLICE. GIVE THEM THIS INFORMATION. TELL THEM THE SAME THING. THEY CAN VERIFY IT ALSO.
      3. CALL NYPD CRIMESTOPPERS HOTLINE. TELL THEM THIS INFORMATION. THEY CAN CONFIRM IT JUST AS YOU HAVE.
      THEY NOW HAVE TO ANSWER THE SAME QUESTION;
      *WILL YOU LET THIS STAND?*
      HOW YOU ANSWER THIS QUESTION WILL DETERMINE IF YOU ARE A MAN OR A COWARD.
      IF YOU REFUSE TO CONFIRM WHETHER NIST PROVED CONTROLLED DEMOLITION OR NOT YOU ARE A COWARD AND A BIGOT.
      IF YOU KNOW OR CONFIRM THAT NIST DID NOT PROVE CONTROLLED DEMOLITION AND YOU ARE AFRAID TO CALL THE POLICE, YOU ARE A COWARD AND A TRAITOR.
      IF YOU KNOW OR CONFIRM THAT NIST DID NOT PROVE CONTROLLED DEMOLITION AND YOU MAKE THOSE PHONE CALLS THEN YOU ARE A MANLY PERSON AND A FREE PERSON!

      Depends on your MOS of what you desire.
      Also the ARMY is good and all but it's still a joke.
      The reason why the ARMY is good is because it is funded more than the MARINE CORPS which means more opportunities like schooling and equipment but it's for the ARMY though and not like career transition to the civilian, some does and some don't.
      In the ARMY, you are going to put up idiotic people, like alot, the ARMY is a joke. It's a failed business, scam, it welcomes people in the ARMY more than any other military branches because it focuses on quantity instead of quality, so therefore, alot of people in the ARMY are the ones that shouldn't be in the military and ARMY.
