9:17 the Italian Spitfire is not a "captured" Spitfire. After the Italian armistice of 1943, the Kingdom of Italy officially switched sides, and the British and Americans gave the new pro-Allied Italian Co Belligerent Army some of their equipment, those including the Spitfires given to the Italian Co Belligerent Air Force.
You can tell it is the Italian Co Belligerent Air Force by the roundels, which looks similar to the French roundel.

Maybe it should be a bit higher, but I disliked it. More firepower but the stats are way way worse than the F Mk IX that is at a lower BR.

Good stuff, sad all the Spits and Hurries are over BR'd, especially the early one considering their pre-war lineage.
The 50cal and clip wings seem to do well in Ground RB for me where top down pen can help, and in-elegant low altitude manoeuvring are useful.
I do hate how Gaijin think that clip wings means completely unstable so plane will just keep rolling side to side perpetually, same with Corsair mk1.

Can someone tell me why the Spitfire F XVIIIe and the XIVe have such atrocious flight characteristics compared to the Mk 22 and 24? The controls feel “sticky.”
If you do a roll, every other Spitfire quickly levels out on it’s own but the XVIIIe and the XIVe level out so much more slowly. This has screwed me over so many times in dogfights. I’ve lost fights to aircraft that I otherwise wouldn’t if I was using a MK24, MK22, or a lower BR Spitfire.
I can’t find any information regarding this in WT or even in real life.

Very nice video and I generally agree with this list, but I unfortunately disagree about the FR 47 - that thing goes immediately into F tier for me. And the worst thing is, I actually love the IRL plane, it's the coolest Spitfire in my opinion with its contra-rotating props. I tried so hard to make this plane work, I spaded it, I kept trying new tactics, but it just doesn't work. :(
The fact that it feels so cartoonishly heavy and apparently misses a couple of horsepower isn't really doing it any good, either. It's horrible climb rate means you can't get to its required altitude in time to contribute to the match.

Weizmann should be an easily S tier due to being LF which has superior climb rate to all spits + really deadly ground ordnance

How do people like the Griffon Spitfires
so far I see everything Griffon based has a straight downgrade given they have bad engine performance at low to medium altitude were the Spitfire works Best
Also I don't know how the mark 22 and 24 perform but the other Spitfires lockup/compress at high Speed making them pretty bad at boom and Zoom

@@meki___6881 Well the Spits with the merlins are quite good at climbing and low speed maneuvers, but the griffon engines work really well if you try to maintain a high speed. I basically play the griffons similar to some American planes...
I will say the F Mk9 is overall still my favorite Spitfire by far, but the Mk14 is also not far of. The Griffon spitfires can keep up and chase down some opponents where the merlins would sometimes be left in the dust to spaceclimb for eternity.
