  • This garden was on our maintenance schedule and a relative of the customer took the garden on but it just proved too much for them.
It’s back on our schedule now but it took a bit of work to get it back into some sort of shape.
Thanks for checking in with us at #lewisgardenservicesltd please like the video and subscribe to keep up to date with what we get up to.

It doesn't look rough after your visit, it looks pukka. I'm like you, a perfectionist but sometimes you gotta reign that in.. you can't do miracles either. Who on Earth is going to maintain a garden like that 😂 Homeowner I mean.. and achieve the finish you did. Fact is we do do miracles for people. It's a blooming hard job is gardening. Job looked perfect mate.

Cheers 👍 got to find the balance sometimes with the final result with the time you have on a job. You're right tho as a home owner this garden would be a day's work a week probably to keep it tidy. Thanks for watching 👌

@@LewisgardenservicesLtd You've hit nail on head there. Took me a while. It depends doesn't it.. if you've not got much else on you might go over time and if you like a customer you might stay longer and "perfect" but.. if you're running a business which you are.. and especially when you have a small team in.. it's about the bottom line after all. It's about delivering the "product" and getting to the next job. Exciting doing it like that but also stressful at times. Depends how good one's team is.. if you had my Alice.. well she's good but you have to put up with alot of moaning during the course of the day 🤣

People are unbelievable sometimes I had this customer where I went once a fortnight to cut the grass weed borders and edge prune ect.
Last time there finished popped home around the corner for some dinner.
On heading out again went back past and saw another gardener cutting the bushes !! Turns out he was cheaper per hour !! He was there 3 plus hours what would of taken me around an hour.
But I was supposedly in the wrong for not going back because she never asked me first if I wanted the job !!🤔

I see that you’ve put some grey tape on the black plastic of the Stihl hla 65, we’re always replacing the black back cover every time we grease it as it’s thin plastic that breakers too easily especially when over tightening the screws. should have been metal but apart from that it’s a good hedge cutter
