- This back garden area needs a complete makeover, for now I just clear it ready for someone to take it over or no doubt be left to get overgrown again.
Would you want to do these types of jobs?
Thanks for watching, give the video a like if you enjoyed it.
Cheers.
We are self employed gardeners in York. Your you tube channel cheers us up no end. Thanks for all the tips and showing the ‘real’ gardens not just the glamorous ones. We will be doing one like this today,. All the best . Lou & Tim
Many thanks for watching, glad they give you a chuckle 👍 has this horrendous weather reached you today? Good luck with the job 👍
I did a garden clearance job this week, very satisfying seeing the transformation and seeing how happy the customers are at the end.
Great video mate👍🏼
Some do give the wow factor, this I fear will look the same in a couple of years except for one less shed😅
priced right, I'll do the job they want done.
Perfect 👍 cheers mate
Love taking jobs like this. I love the variety of being an all round gardener. Also the satisfaction when complete is. 👌👌
I agree, doing a lot of things usually means you'll keep busy and not get too bored😅 cheers 👍
I like jobs like this , making a complete transformation is great
Nice to leave a blank canvas for whatever happens next there. Cheers 👍
I’d love a few jobs like this because it breaks up the norm of regular maintenance
Massive improvement Nathan nice one mate👌🏼
Great winter jobs too👍 cheers mate
Nice wee job and well done I would have done it the same way as you did.
Cheers 👍 not much more I could have done there except drop in with the digger and rip it all out😅
Spot on Nath. Haha. I've never stripped a lawn either. Got suckered in last year watching all the channels thinking i have to stripe my basic lawns and get this expensive mower, scarifier, aerator. Watchjng down to earth people like you and a couple of others made me realise what I'm better at doing. Fast in and out doing the job the customer wants and making a living. Have a good weekend. Andy
I've been asked by a few old dears after taking over their garden but always do with the wheeled mowers, like you say in and out and into the next one. It's not a thing in my area. Now you have it tho you could offer it as a better finish service at an increased rate. Cheers mate👍
I've been watching your channel for a while now, and i really like your honesty about the jobs you do. Regarding the job above, i like the satisfaction you get seeing the end result.
keep up the great work
Thanks for watching and making the leap to comment 👍 I'm not smart enough to anything but honest😅 there is a satisfaction to these jobs for sure
Excellent tidy up..wow
Cheers 👍 thanks for watching
If it pays the bills mate. Cracking transformation. Hope you’re well.
It keeps the funds trickling in, wouldn't go as far as a transformation but definitely better. All good here, you and the family well? Cheers Scott 👍
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd all good mate just took a bit of downtime off socials. Ready for the season now.
@@scottellwoodgardening287 hopefully the rain disappears 🤞
Can’t beat a good clear out….
Definitely 😅👍
Great topic mate. I bet when you finish you get a lot of satisfaction from the changes.
Great video buddy
It's nice when they're actually maintained afterwards 😅 thanks for watching 👍
Hey Nath, I’m one of those asking your advice.
Don’t expect you to have all of the answers, but 100% value your opinion.
Ask away 👍 rather be chatting to you guys than some call centre 😅 thanks for watching 👍
I love these types of jobs they're the biz..nice one.
Cheers 👍 they are easy and the expected outcome is never too high so you can bash through them. Thanks for watching and your comment
Nicely done 👍
Cheers 👍
Great job…
Thanks 👍 cheers for watching
I actually love these jobs, They can be a nice earner, as you say, a good rainy day job
Definitely nice to drop on when the weather is playing up 😅👍
I don’t get many like this Nathan but when I have occasionally had one they can be good!
Like you say if you price them correctly as they don’t always take as long as you think!😊👍
Yea they're not as bad as they look sometimes 👍 cheers mark
I prefer them id rather graft and seeing customers reactions after it is amazing
Yea the reaction is great sometimes, often all I get out is a before and after email tho and don't see customers😂 cheers for watching 👍
mate love it how do you find the back pack battery on ya back ??
Don't even notice it on now mate😅how's everything with you? Cheers for watching 👍
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd all good Autumn has arrived high 20s with the odd 30 plus so relative warn for us . Looking forward to winter out busiest time of the year
Nathan I would have no issue tackling a crappy empty yard for a few hours and tidy up. I have a few crappy shed jobs on my instagram too mate. Great topic✌️
Damien from Cork City
We do like to graft😅 will head over and check your Instagram out, if I can work it😬 cheers Damien, hope all's good 👍
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd all good here Nathan mate keep banging out those videos👊
Would I of taken it on......? Yes. Probably. The thought of rats in the shed would of put me off I think. But if the price was right.......
Regarding stripes. You know who likes stripes in a lawn? Gardeners. The general public really aren't that arsed.
There was an old rats nest under that base😬 I've definitely not had many if any requests to stripe lawns but it doesn't seem to be a thing in my area. Cheers for watching 👍
Good video as always🤙
Cheers and thanks for watching 👍
You.did a nice job big difference that Nathan jobs a job money is money id do it and it lools way better 👍👊💯
Cheers mate👍 I dropped you a Facebook message about a job if your interested 😬😅
Ill take a look dont go on there much 🤣 cheers appreciate it Nath 👍 👌
I've cut my teeth on these kinds of jobs since I started the business up in October. I love them! Give me more! A couple of hundred quid, 3-4 hours graft, an hour or so to get rid of the waste and you're laughing, day done!
Keep it up, great stuff. I'm debating whether to set up a channel myself, I already have one for something else and help with another, do I need a third and will it actually make any money?
Definitely worth doing and set up right could get a few of these a day in👌👍 cheers for watching
10.43 on Tuesday that was me messaging 😅
Can you leave me alone😂 you're banned
Great job Nathan. I don't mind jobs like that now and again, got one coming up soon actually. You working solo now? Haven't seen the boys in your vids lately.
Good luck with it mate🤞 to be honest I'd sack myself as well at the moment if I could 😂
I know what you mean.. I'm on a final warning from myself..
@slowmarchingband1 😂😂
Good price but i like a job like this i like the challenge
The big tidy jobs can definitely be a challenge, we must be mad 😅 cheers for watching 👍
I’ve got a question that I need help with please, before my husband died, he always did the gardens, now I’m looking after them, but he always pruned the hydrangeas, google says not till March to prune them, but mines got new growth on it! What do I do now? Help please.
I actually prefer these types of jobs, they can be quite profitable too if priced correctly
I like the fact you can be in one place longer and it does have an impact once done and yes priced right definitely worth doing 👍 thanks Jordan 👍👍
How much did you charge for that out of interest? I would have charged £350 approximately.
I have no Idea now to be honest, but less than that I think. Cheers 👍
Hi Nathan as long as they pay wood do a job like that there's a satisfaction in jobs like that defiantly cant make it look worse 😀😀 Thanks again
Payed in wood😅 satisfaction when the invoice is paid too👍 cheers mate
@@LewisgardenservicesLtd 4 by 2 or logs 🤣🤣 Thanks again
@DJC995 either
It's not a job I would take .. mainly because I don't take waste away . It doesn't work for me and I might get me new gloves dirty 😂😂😂
What's the fancy new outfit then😂
Can't be Tuesday Nathan... its not raining 🙈
It was dry yesterday, today however 🙄😂😬 cheers for watching
I pass jobs like this on to my mate that loves jobs like this,if it means getting a sweat on im no longer interested.
You my friend are a role model 👌 sweaty work is no longer on my list👍😅 cheers 😅
you call that rough i spent 10 months cleaniong a owver grown orchard 20 feet brambles thinning out trees
Wow😬
Where there’s muck there’s brass
There sure is👍 cheers
i used to take jobs on this when customers were apreiated it and had the money to get it done because they prided there home unlike today
So many places do get left to get overgrown 🙄 cheers for watching 👍
it is therapy watching unfortanatley its just customers that lack vision and money just dont kill yourself for it@@LewisgardenservicesLtd
if the price is right why not. if you dont do it someone else will mate 😉I probably dont get these type of jobs because I dont advertise these days.
You're right there mate, that advertising thing only brings in too much work and stress anyway 🙄😬 cheers mate, hope all's good with you 👍
i tell you what in my younger days i like lawn mowers rotorvators but i cant stand hearing the neighboor mowing never get any peace
They do have a tone that can get on your nerves 😅
