I’d agree, but only if she’s well-written. WandaVision was an excellent character analysis of Wanda, and MoM portrayed her as a hysterical, histrionic parody of a scorned lover.
100% disagree. WandaVision LITERALLY ended with Wanda reading the Darkhold, dark music, and her boys crying out to her for help... that's literally the plot of Multiverse. Did you see the end credits scene of WandaVision?
@@Yehoshua66 DSMoM is her exact arc in wandavision repeated and done worse. Yeah, but Waldron who wrote Multiverse of Madness could've bothered to read the WandaVision scripts before writing Wnada. Jac Shaeffer obviously took the rime to familiarize herself with that film's plot before writing Agatha.

@AngelEyesMayCry He said he didn't watch WandaVision, not that he didn't read the scripts. Watching the final cut for WandaVision would've been impossible because it didn't release yet. Waldron made it very clear that he read the scripts and watched early cuts of the show. There is really a stark difference between female characters written by women compared to female characters written by men. The latter usually ends up with women suffering for male characters' sake of development and usually ends up dead. I enjoyed MoM but I agree that they did not do Wanda a favor there.
what made me sad about MoM was that they Wanadvision and the beautiful heartbreaking story of Wanda’s motherhood and turned Wanda into a monster and sort of demonized her attachment to her children
I enjoyed Wanda in MoM. I can understand why people weren’t into that direction, but she was mesmerizing as the Scarlet Witch! Everything I wanted to see post-WV.

It's okay, Jac, you can say they slaughtered Wanda's character development. I'm sorry, but I think if you're going to be making media about a character in a universe that all ties together, you should be required to watch all prior media in the universe with the character and THEN write for the character.
You clearly didn't understand that post credit scene at the end of Wandavision. You do realize she was corrupted by the Darkhold right? They literally said so multiple times.
@@movielover7565 You do realize that "corrupted by the Darkhold" and "having plans that made 0 logical sense in any universe" are not synonyms, right? You know? The one where her children are screaming for Wanda to help them? Something that might have made Wanda's goal and actions a tiny bit reasonable?
