I played xylophone for this my freshman year. I think I still have most of it memorized and this nearly 3 years later. Some songs just seem to stick with you I guess.
Played it my freshman year on Marimba with three others (We had like 15 percussionist, so). Still remember it to, and play occasionally. My friend Jack and I loved it so much, we begun to learn the wind part and translating it to mallets XD
I'm playing this along with my high school band for a conference in January. Your soloist on the mallets is very talented. Excellent blend of sound all around the band.
The tone is really terrible compared to how my middle school plays this, at this same speed. The performance is not so great overall. The tone is the main problem.

We just did this for Spring Concert and took the tempo north of 160 which is the original
