I wonder how he feels about skyward sword now with the he version which pretty much addresses almost everything he said he didn't like and included button controls as well
Whenever I see someone who complains about motion controls in skyward sword and I can see them using the controller, 9 times out of 10 there just not using it correctly. It’s not too hard to figure out, if stupid 7 year old me can figure it out then these grown adults can too. It seems like they just see it not working and don’t want to put the time and effort to learn how it works and instead complain.
I love how well you were able to Express the pros and cons of the games without spoiling much of the games itself, people usually struggle with that, great job
I love this video especially because you took time just to add that part to the beginning. Most people wouldn't put that much detail into an intro but you did and that's why your content is top-tier.

Great video! TP is my fav Zelda game, so I'm happy to see it's in your S-tier. I did want to mention, they upgraded the textures in that game, as well as upped the resolution. You can definitely tell on the item and environment textures. 😄
This might surprise you, but Spirit Tracks is my favorite 2D Zelda Game. The fact that Zelda is your companion was great, I really love the Tower of Spirits, it's a better version of the Temple of the Ocean King, as well as the other dungeons and the soundtrack is beautiful. I know that driving the train and playing the spirits flute is annoying, but I feel like the fans are always forgetting the great things about it.
Me too xd I love spirit tracks, it is my favorite zelda game I'm actually playing it again on an emulator and it's an amazing game, sadly it is too underrated
uSagiii Another flaw in this game is getting the train parts. It's all luck based, because Linebeck the 3rd is too greedy to sell you them. You have to give him specific treasures in order to get them. What I realized is that some players have more chances to find certain treasures than others. For example, one player will find goron ambers more than palace dishes. But for another player, he or she will have more chances to find palace dishes than goron ambers. You could have found all the collectibles in the game, scored 900 points at the training mini-game in Hyrule Castle, maxing out your health, finding all the treasure chests and completing all the side quests, but this could takes you a long time because of your luck at obtaining a specific treasure that you need in order to obtain the last train part that you're missing.
I had to create a SSS tier because I like Skyward Sword a large bit more than all the other games, so it sits alone in SS tier, but I love Twilight Princess more than my firstborn son so I had to create another tier just for it
The beauty of Zelda is that everyone likes the games for different reasons. Our lists line up pretty similarly, I would personally put Majora and Majora 3D in S tier
Aside from the bosses (I only played the remake) and the repetition of certain enemies (ie, Wizrobes), Majora's Mask might even eek out Ocarina of Time in my ranking. Both are excellent games, but try to do very different things. I'd love to see a proper Majora's Mask remake (or successor, like LBW was to ALTTP) with updated graphics, more quests and dungeons, better motion controls, especially for Zora and Goron masks, while still keeping the same feel that Majora's has.

Definitely understated if you played this at the time of release you would understand .
100% agree. This list shows a preference for the 3D Zeldas though, which is a matter of taste I guess, but Link to the Past basically defined the Zelda experience until Breath of the Wild reinvented things somewhat. I still play through it once every couple of years. That being said, returning to that same Hyrule for A Link Between Worlds was such a blast of nostalgia and pure joy. I didn't get a 3DS (2DSXL, actually) until very late in that system's lifespan and only really played two games on it: Samus Returns and A Link Between Worlds. For those two games alone I absolutely love that little system.

And the Trash Tier, Zelda 2 is not enjoyable at all and the road to the last level until the end of the game... It's just frustrating!!! And the 2 DS games, I hated them so much. Mostly Phantom Hourglass. The others tier-lists are my personal experience AND SOME of them IF people will like it overall.
Though it kind of hurts not seeing MM on your S tier, I do understand why many fans love that game and others don't. I'm with you on BotW! I liked TP but I cannot place it before OoT. I guess it's a generational thing. Some think that A Link to the Past is better than Ocarina... Apart from that, in my opinion you did a great job ranking them all in a very objective way. Btw, I don't think you're underrated like many say. It'll be only a matter of time for your channel to be a more high profiled one, just keep making good videos 😄
So my list is incomplete because I havent played every game yet but of the ones ive played 1. twilight princess (all 3 versions) 2. Breath of the wild 3. Skyward sword (both versions) 4. @@Yoda-wf6bu BotW is a really good open world game, but it doesn't feel like a Zelda game at all. It has pretty much nothing of what I like the Zelda series for
@@Paradox-xm9zq Thats exactly why it deserves more praise. It’s something different. All other Zelda games are basically the same thing with same concepts.
@@Yoda-wf6bu Different is fine. The issue for me is that BotW is so different that it has little to no resemblances to the other games at all. You know how games like Okami get described as "Zelda like"? If BotW wasn't a Zelda game, I highly doubt anyone would describe it as Zelda like. Majora's Mask is a very good example of something that feels different while still feeling like a Zelda game. BotW feels more like a typical western AAA open world game than it does a Zelda game.
This is my favorite video of yours so far. Sorry if this derails by the way, but what would you like to see in a new Nintendo ip? After Splatoon and ARMS, I’m eager for another one. Though I do feel like I’m in the minority of people who liked ARMS.
My tier list: *S-tier:* _Majora's Mask, Skyward Sword, The Wind Waker HD, The Wind Waker, Breath of the Wild, Twilight Princess HD, Twilight Princess,_ and _Ocarina of Time,_ *A-tier:* _The Minish Cap, A Link Between Worlds, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time 3D_ and _Majora's Mask 3D_ *B-tier:* _Link's Awakening Switch, Link's Awakening, Spirit Tracks, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons,_ and _Phantom Hourglass_ *C-tier:* _The Legend of Zelda,_ and _The Adventure of Link_ *D-tier:* _Four Swords, Triforce Heroes,_ and _Four Swords Adventure_ Honestly even the D-tier games I'd say are pretty good for what they are, but that's hardly surprising considering this is probably the most highly acclaimed video game series of all time.
Link to the past is still number 1 for me, that game is soo good. Really great items and dungeons. The puzzles are so satisfying. Breath of the wild is close second though. Also the original loz is still A tier for me. So much replay value, all items are optional and you can do the dungeons in any order, and there are literally secrets everywhere.
A Link to the Past is a solid Zelda game and I respect your opinion, but great dungeons? I could maybe think of two that I kinda like. The dungeons generally range from bad to mediocre. I especially hate Skull Woods and the Ice Palace. Most of the dungeons are aesthetically bland which makes them very forgettable to me. The music doesn’t help. They play the same music for EVERY dungeon in the game. This makes them so incredibly forgettable.
I was on the fence about BotW. Still am but more so on the good side. Love the gameplay and challenging combat just wish you could repair weapons (hopefully tears of the kingdom fixes this) also the enemies were so spread out at times you're just running. Adventuring is God tier. Even on my like 5th or 6th playthrough I still find things I've missed before. Story is extremely lackluster in my opinion. Other than Miphas part I didn't feel super captivated. Although there's 120 shrines (not counting dlc) 90% were copy and pasted or not that challenging. Would have rather had a lot of them meshed into bigger shrines/dungeons to make them seem bigger instead of super short and scattered. Also needed more enemies. The divine beasts while interesting concepts it left a lot to be desire imo. They needed more enemies inside and they were OoT water temple levels of tedious. Resetting everything to get things you overlooked. The blights were awesome though. Not a big gripe but my ocd hates I can't have maxed hearts and stamina without cheating. The fight with ganon was too easy especially the last segment. Lastly, the music (probably my favorite part of these games) was just wack. There were a few pieces of music that were good but overall was let down.
You should’ve waited for Skyward Sword HD before making this list. It has arguably the most improvements of any of the HD remasters. I’m having a lot of fun with it and it is getting much better reviews than the original.
if they remaster/make zelda two (making darknuts and the wierd crocodile mace enemy have actual counterable attacks that arent bugs) i think that it would be a pretty good game!
I would put Majora's Mask in S tier. I would also put Adventures of Link in S tier. (unpopular opinion, I know!! But, like the original Super Mario Brothers, the game provides endless hours of real entertainment, of a type that is not found easily.)
Personally I don’t think OoT is a S tier just because a lot of the areas feel a bit empty because there’s not a lot of side stuff. Of course the story and actual main quest stuff is good.
I was gonna get mad if he didn't put botw in at least in S but then I got surprised when he pit it in the top of S. I would put it there too, botw is in my top 5 favorite games.
@@thepanthar in no particular order Michael Jackson the experience, botw, dbd, new super Mario bros wii, and sonic generations. Only games I can really think about I really like rn
The nes Zelda deserves way more respect than below average, that game was so good the damn brand lasted till now and Probably for another 100 years. Zelda 2 was terrible and deserved the spot. If it wasn’t for the OG we wouldn’t have a list to begin with. That was the best Nintendo game.
17: Four Swords (GBA)(The only game that actually sucks) 16: Tri Force Heroes (3DS)(Gameplay is too gimmicky) 15: Phantom Hourglass (3DS)(It has good things but certainly a weak one) 14: Legend of Zelda (NES)(Was good at the time, keyword is at the time) 13: Spirit Tracks (3DS)(The most forgettable game imo) 12: Minish Cap (GBA)(A little too simple for me, but still pretty great) 11: Adventures of Link (NES)(Too hated I have fun because of the difficulty) 10: Link’s Awakening (Gameboy)(I can’t say anything else but it’s just amazing) 9: Oracle of Seasons/Ages (GBA)(The most underrated in the series) 8: Skyward Sword (Wii)(Has some truly incredible things but not perfect) 7: Link To the Past (SNES)(A tad bit overrated but still awesome) 6: Link Between Worlds (3DS)(One of the best 3DS games) 5: Majora’s Mask (N64)(The darkest tone in the franchise, and I like dark) 4: Breath of the Wild (Switch)(You have to love an open world game) 3: Wind Waker (Gamecube)(I don’t know what else to say but top tier) 2: Twilight Princess (Gamecube)(I’m a fan of turning into a wolf) 1: Ocarina of Time (N64)(The most classic game into the series)
and no altp is not overated at all This game the prices it's a masterpeace imo But i respect your taste but overated no because this game can be played at his release Today an even in the future
I wouldn't agree with BOTW being top of S as you said TW is the most complete. BOTW is not complete in away way shape or form. I think it's great and have a couple hundred hours in it but I wouldn't put it higher than high A tier. The shrines are repetitive and boring the "dungeons" or champion dungeons are all the same when I try to think of them and the ganon fights in them are boring. You can't even play post ganon fight which makes the game incomplete just with that. The only part it nailed was travel. It's fun to run aroundand look at land marks but that's about it. the fact that the landmarks would mean nothing without past zelda games is pretty crazy. I think the new BOTW will be the definitive open-world zelda game. BOTW was over hyped and that hype will die down in the future. I'm 80% sure.
Great review!! Nice idea for intro!! I just started watching and I already know Zelda BOTW will win because you have it placed in the end of list.😀 EDIT: Yes, you get lost in the world it creates, literally. I'm lost 😀 I will not waste time playing older releases. It's good it's available on WIi U backup mode 😉
As much as I enjoyed Breath of the Wild I felt very let down by it as a Zelda game. I honestly never understood why some people love it as much as they do because I feel that it's just an average open world game with tons of fluff and padding that takes away from what the franchise was. The music, dungeons, and atmosphere were all gone. It just felt so disappointing and it's a bit shocking to see people rate it as their best Zelda or game of the decade as it's just an ok game game and a very poor Zelda game to me.
This is my top 10 all time: 10 - A Link to The Past 9 - Spirit Tracks 8 - Skyward Sword 7 - The Minish Cap 6 - Twilight Princess 5 - A Link Between Worlds 4 - BOTW 3 - Majora’s Mask 2 - WindWaker 1- Ocarina of Time

Now I’m curious about your top 20 best video games of all time ☺️
I almost perfectly agree to this!!
(I'd put Majora's mask at S tier though)
Okay, I am kinda impressed by your ocarina playing!
D Tier
19. Triforce Heroes
C Tier
18. Phantom Hourglass
17. Skyward Sword
16. Spirit Tracks
B Tier
15. Four Sword
14. Four Swords Adventures
13. A Link to the Past
A Tier
12. Oracle of Ages
11. The Wind Waker
10. The Adventure of Link
09. Oracle of Seasons
08. The Legend of Zelda
07. The Minish Cap
06. Breath of the Wild
05. Ocarina of Time
04. Link's Awakening
03. Majora's Mask
02. A Link to the Past
S Tier
01. Twilight Princess
Honestly this list is pretty spot on, the only thing i would change is i would put skyward sword top to mid A tier but thats just my opinion.
"Link's Awakening felt surreal and dreamlike." Hmmm yeah I always wondered why that was
Botw is good in how there is so much to do and so much to find, but then I get collectors anxiety.
Hey pointcrow here do you ever get collectors anxiety, in huge open world games, where there’s so much to do, so much to find
That intro, ur amazing 🤩
Thanks as always man
Wait a minute, I thought you were gonna talk about pokimon games with that cliffhanger you showed us in your previous video
He still will
Yes that is the next big scripted, heavily edited ranking video. I do these tier list rankings in between those videos in a more unformal style
Best tier list I have seen so far. I think 4 swords adventures should be above the very first zelda game but other then that good list
S: Majoras's Mask
A: Ocarina of Time - Twilight Princess - A Link to the Past
B: Minish Cap - Link's Awakening (Switch) - Skyward Sword (Wii!) - Wind Waker - Triforce Heroes
C: Breath of the Wild - Oracles of Ages/Seasons - Four Sword Adventure - A Link between Worlds - Zelda 1 - Four Sword
Trash!: Spirit Track - Zelda 2 - Phantom Hourglass
The reason why I prefer MM over OOT is due to the story and the possibility to do quick or completed runs.
Okay that intro was an EASY 10/10
You my good sir are the smartest person on UA-cam. Valid list. Don’t see many twilight princess lovers.
Love your content man
Thank you bro!
Damn homie how do you always come up with good ideas
lol thanks homie, I just think of whatever
Skyward Sword HD basically fixed all the issues you had with the original. I would put it at the end of S-tier.
We need more of these videos I agree with your opinions on SS
Thank you dude and good to hear!
Great video just wanna say that the WW and TP on Wii U weren't remakes, they were remasters
So my list is incomplete because I havent played every game yet but of the ones ive played
1. twilight princess (all 3 versions)
2. Breath of the wild
3. Skyward sword (both versions)
4. Minish cap
5. Majoras mask (n64)
6. Spirit tracks
7. Links awakening (all 3)
8. Majoras mask 3D
9. A link between worlds
10. Phantom hourglass
11. A link to the past
12. Ocarina of time master quest
13. Ocarina of time (both versions)
14. Wind waker (havent played hd)
15. Oracle of seasons
16. Oracle of ages
17. 4 swords adventures
(Havent played 4 swords, TFH or zelda 1 and 2)
If i could put them on the list age of calamity and cadence of hyrule would be pretty high up. (Havent played the first HW)
rabbidluigi already did this tier list but it’s still a great video
thanks man
I've been wanting this vid!
Majora's Mask is easily S tier and the 3ds version is even better.
S: Wind Waker HD, Wind Waker, Majora's Mask
A: Ocarina of Time, Ocarina of Time 3D, Twilight Princess HD, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Minish Cap
B: Oracle of Ages, Link's Awakening DX, Link's Awakening remake, Oracle of Seasons, Spirit Tracks, A Link to the Past, A Link Between Worlds
C: Breath of the Wild, Phantom Hourglass, Four Swords Adventures, The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link
D: Tri Force Heroes, Four Swords, Majora's Mask 3D
good list as well
Breath of the wild in C-tier? What
@@Yoda-wf6bu BotW is a really good open world game, but it doesn't feel like a Zelda game at all.
Though I do feel like I’m in the minority of people who liked ARMS.
on the anniversary i just listened to Zelda music till my ears bleed
(just found ur channel btw and u make great vids ngl)
I love that this guy actually knows how to play the song of time forreal lol
*me the whole video*
"Yes his fav is OoT"
"Nvm it's TP, still a great game."
"It's BotW? Bruh"
Very nice list. For me Wind Waker HD is the best one, maybe cos I like a lot of the music of the game...but I agree with you list
Nice vid!
thanks chicken
Reading some comments about how he talks about Skyward Sword. Imma just take my leave and not waste my time, thanks comments~
My tier list:
*S-tier:* _Majora's Mask, Skyward Sword, The Wind Waker HD, The Wind Waker, Breath of the Wild, Twilight Princess HD, Twilight Princess,_ and _Ocarina of Time,_
*A-tier:* _The Minish Cap, A Link Between Worlds, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time 3D_ and _Majora's Mask 3D_
*B-tier:* _Link's Awakening Switch, Link's Awakening, Spirit Tracks, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons,_ and _Phantom Hourglass_
*C-tier:* _The Legend of Zelda,_ and _The Adventure of Link_
*D-tier:* _Four Swords, Triforce Heroes,_ and _Four Swords Adventure_
Honestly even the D-tier games I'd say are pretty good for what they are, but that's hardly surprising considering this is probably the most highly acclaimed video game series of all time.
good picks too
@@InfiniteBits Thanks mate, likewise!
@@FluffyMustacheits your taste but for me is on of the game with the best dungeons with wow oot and tp
Take notes, gamer UA-camrs. That’s how you do an intro.
Haha thanks man! Glad you liked the intro
ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO!
Thanks dude, appreciate it!
No Problem
You deserve a million subs
It’s triggering my OCD to see only 3 outa the 4 champions abilities when you showed botw gameplay 😂
You should’ve waited for Skyward Sword HD before making this list. It has arguably the most improvements of any of the HD remasters. I’m having a lot of fun with it and it is getting much better reviews than the original.
The remake of Skyward sword could bump it up to A honestly. Solid list overall,I agree with a good amount of it
I'll remain skeptical...
@@InfiniteBits do you plan to get the remake
@@thepenguinboi8679 lol no, definitely don't want to play that game again
@@InfiniteBits lmao
if they remaster/make zelda two (making darknuts and the wierd crocodile mace enemy have actual counterable attacks that arent bugs) i think that it would be a pretty good game!
No doubt Zelda II probably needs a remake more than any other Zelda game at this point.
You are wrong A link to the past is S people are still playing it 30 years later best 2d game and best game in zelda series
Well it is a N64 game
Your content rocks. Keep at it please.
thank you dude
I'm amazed to see how popular TP is nowadays. It would be in a much lower tier some years ago
I was gonna get mad if he didn't put botw in at least in S but then I got surprised when he pit it in the top of S. I would put it there too, botw is in my top 5 favorite games.
what are the others.
I agree with it for the most part, but I would put Majora in S and Skyward Sword as well as Oracle of Ages in A
Buen video man!! :D
Thank you man
Twilight princess and botw are my top favorites. Hard to pick a top one.
17: Four Swords (GBA)(The only game that actually sucks)
16: Tri Force Heroes (3DS)(Gameplay is too gimmicky)
15: Phantom Hourglass (3DS)(It has good things but certainly a weak one)
14: Legend of Zelda (NES)(Was good at the time, keyword is at the time)
13: Spirit Tracks (3DS)(The most forgettable game imo)
12: Minish Cap (GBA)(A little too simple for me, but still pretty great)
11: Adventures of Link (NES)(Too hated I have fun because of the difficulty)
10: Link’s Awakening (Gameboy)(I can’t say anything else but it’s just amazing)
9: Oracle of Seasons/Ages (GBA)(The most underrated in the series)
8: Skyward Sword (Wii)(Has some truly incredible things but not perfect)
7: Link To the Past (SNES)(A tad bit overrated but still awesome)
6: Link Between Worlds (3DS)(One of the best 3DS games)
5: Majora’s Mask (N64)(The darkest tone in the franchise, and I like dark)
4: Breath of the Wild (Switch)(You have to love an open world game)
3: Wind Waker (Gamecube)(I don’t know what else to say but top tier)
2: Twilight Princess (Gamecube)(I’m a fan of turning into a wolf)
1: Ocarina of Time (N64)(The most classic game into the series)
and no altp is not overated at all
This game the prices it's a masterpeace imo
But i respect your taste
but overated no because this game can be played at his release Today an even in the future
this game deserve all the prices
Not a bad rating system at all.. I basically feel the same way this guy does.. well done..!!
Good Video!
thanks bro
HEY! You stole my list! I'll only forgive you coz of your good taste!
Great review!! Nice idea for intro!! I just started watching and I already know Zelda BOTW will win because you have it placed in the end of list.😀
EDIT: Yes, you get lost in the world it creates, literally. I'm lost 😀 I will not waste time playing older releases. It's good it's available on WIi U backup mode 😉
Wind Waker is S tier end of discussion.
It's also my favorite
Zelda 1 was the best game of it's time and people are still speedrunning it ! It is easily an S tier for me
As much as I enjoyed Breath of the Wild I felt very let down by it as a Zelda game.
Watch reviews you might understand, and it’s the closet to the original Zelda then all the others
This is my top 10 all time:
10 - A Link to The Past
9 - Spirit Tracks
8 - Skyward Sword
7 - The Minish Cap
6 - Twilight Princess
5 - A Link Between Worlds
4 - BOTW
3 - Majora’s Mask
2 - WindWaker
1- Ocarina of Time
