To answer the question in the title: Nothing! An absolutley stunning watch for a fair price i think. I disagree with your take on the bezel. The monochrome look is what sets it apart from all the other models and is the main reason i love it.
thats 100% fair! it's nice for the model to differentiate itself! just for me I'd like some more colour and presence! I think i agree on the price though
This would look fantastic on a variety of leathers/rubbers. A good red would really contrast nicely with the grey tones and spot of red on the hands. I honestly believe this would make the dial standout so much more.

I think a black sailcloth with red stitching would be AMAZING with this tbh, thats my dream combo.

I personally think they wanted to give us a monochrome watch. If im right, they does a very good job.
But my personal preference would be also e black bezel.
Especially because the subdials on the other models are sometimes to colorfull.
But in the end there are a loot of people they like the watch exactly the way zenith did it.

My favorite of this line so far, although as with Zenith recently, the price is higher than I think it should be. Hopefully, they’ll release it in a range of dial colors
I think the prices are more justified than some other members of the LVMH group, as they're all in house movements and everything, but still alot of money.

Beautiful watch but as with all the others I struggle with the date at 4pm. I know it’s a zenith thing and historically they had it there but it does my head in. I’ve got the Black Bay 58 925 - it’s gorgeous! Love it.
that's fair! I personally like the placement! also, the 925 is a brilliant watch, that is beautiful, I just like a little less monochrome. it's a watch I'd get if I had a large collection!
BLAND?!?!? the nickel grey with the titanium is just "chefs kiss" lovely, maybe a little washed out....but I like excess of constants haha. I'll wear a khaki shirt with khaki pants, a jean tie with a jean shirt and jeans and a jean jacket haha all the same pattern or color to me makes it look kind of futuristic. Still would get this over any Rolex Daytona
Id take most CMS sport models over a daytona, but the white dial steel is just sorta perfect on the wrist, also, I love the phrase the excess of constants. But to me this watch is just too monochromatic

I like the word goofball. Not enough people use that word.
And I know it's meant to be monochrome. But I'm also allowed to not like that. Like if a watch is meant to have rainbow diamonds, I don't have to praise it for that design choice just because it's on purpose.

It should habe the coloured sub dials like they have on the chronomaster original blue.. but love the watch on the rubber strap.. it gives it a bit more colour.. just wish it was a easy push strap.. to change cos i can see.thos watch being a strap monster
Coloured sundials, or something a little less monochrome really wouldn't go amiss I think
