Nothing ironic. I'm sure he knows just as well that she wanted him for the money only. We do, but we just keep up the pretense because there is no other way about it. It is merely a transactional relationship. But so is most relationships. Try being with a same aged beggar and handicap and tell us you love the person and will forever be there for them, ask your other half this too. If you can, you are that 0.001%. If indeed she is the monster who killed that precious precious dog………she may have callously done that first to make it look like her husband died from grief knowing how much he adored his beloved pet & thinking she’d get away with drugging him 🤷‍♀️ probably totally wrong.
On what planet does anyone have a reason to kill a perfectly healthy little dog except to hurt beyond comprehension the person who loves that pet the most .

I completely agree with you; the thought of someone harming a beloved pet to manipulate or hurt someone else is both heartbreaking and unfathomable. It's a cruel act that goes beyond just the loss of a pet-it's an attack on the bond between the pet and their owner. The pain of losing a pet is profound, as I understand from your experience of mourning for six months. It's a kind of loss that truly does break the heart. Pets are not just animals; they are family members, and their absence leaves a void that is hard to fill.

2 reasons to kill the dog have been mentioned by others.
      1) the dog was poisoned in a test run of the drugs used to kill the old man. She had to be sure it would work, and she would then be able to judge how long it would take to kill the old guy. It had to be quick obviously, to reduce the possibility of him being found still alive and taken to the hospital.
      2) he loved that dog and might have left an inheritance to the dog, and she wanted all of it for herself. The dog meant nothing to her and if you're going to murder someone, you're hardly the type of person to stop at killing a dog too.

If she's been released, she's free, but also free from accessing any of his money with no one else to turn to, even as a sugar baby in the Japanese culture where honor means SO much more. So in the end, she's convicted & sentenced herself to life in her own prison!

…seriously… like, how did he physically at his age? Or like how did he fit them in his work schedule? Cause if you’re talking opportunity, pretty sure the “billionaire” label answers that.
