So, as everyone has already seen. I posted the right video, but put the wrong Thumbnail and Description up. Turns out I'm human, and sometimes kind of dumb. Thank you all for watching anyway. Let's hope I can remember how to do this next time.
You spoke of adding sponsorship previously and myself like many others appreciate your honesty and integrity. I wouldn't blame you either way but I hope you can find trustworthy sponsorship and share the good ones with all the folks out here struggling to weed out the rest.
Just flog snake oil and collect the cash. Who cares if you're selling Snap-On or Established Titles. Everyone is going to ignore it anyway. At least you're getting paid and continuing to offer free videos.
Good job with fabricating, welding, cutting and fitting things together. Soon the firewall will be made to go in! The 3 of you laughing and having fun is inspiring!
The first plastic used in UK cars was, I believe, a product called Bakelite. It was first made in 1909, so I reckon your steering wheel was covered with it, or something similar. BTW, this wrecker is awesome. I think it will be stronger than an Abrams tank. The petrol tank could withstand a direct hit from a missile. Can’t wait to see it finished.
Did I get a different video? Great work on Robby's truck, but no welder for Mini-Mater. I don't care it's all good. The creative work & ideas are phenomenal. The steering system works well. Mike you need to work some Bondo magic on the steering wheel then it would be plastic. Thanks for Sharing
Love to se you all boys working together laughing at each other. The best part is that you bulid your own solutions not buying and convert you do it from scratch 👍
At 16:05 I was waiting for Mike to say "you'll find one over there". Great teamwork, great explanations as usual and great work wht the glue stick. Thanks for another great video.
Looking like 👍 an episode of "Monster Garage" which is definitely a good thing, those shows were awesome! With TV dying on a daily basis, TG we got you guys and UA-cam 👍
Great video and great creativity guys! I always love watching three great friends working together on an off road working masterpiece! One of my favorite channels
I almost felt like I needed safety glasses to watch this video. I enjoyed watching all of the steps you went through fabricating stuff for the wrecker. Looking forward to the next one.
awesome work , I look forward to what ever comes out ,you guys are all so talented, between you guys at TRail mater, Robbys Crew, Matts team and the guys at Fabrats you are all so talented, thanks for sharing
Mike my friend I know your twin lmao! When you taste the steering wheel at 1515, totally reminded me of my best friend Alan! Who literally investigates most mechanical things by tasting them!😂😂lmao! Thanks boys for always putting on a good show I appreciate it.
Bakelite, formally polyoxybenzylmethyleneglycolanhydride, is a thermosetting phenol formaldehyde resin, formed from a condensation reaction of phenol with formaldehyde. The first plastic made from synthetic components, it was developed by Leo Baekeland in Yonkers, New York, in 1907, and patented on December 7, 1909. They used it in pistol grips, telephones and all other old devices.
I LOVE the mixture of hi-tech and lo-tech in the Trail Mater shop; modern welding gear and a (probably) hundred-year-old drill press!! Ditto for that fabulous lathe!
"In this one we install out new Premier Power Welder system". Woops - likely wrong video...but love the work on Robbie's truck nonetheless. Great fab work and some laughts, and tape across Rory's palm - all in all, a great Saturday video. Looking forward to the next Robbie wrecker video that has Mini Mater in it....teehee
I didn’t pay attention to the thumbnail, I seen you ,started watching your build is like a blank canvas puzzle , putting all the pieces together with ease, Mastering the puzzle! If was live I believe there would be positivity comments, if negativity, wouldn’t respond because it’s a really great build, it’s coming out great 👍
Always enjoy show..yall are some great fabricators...and some visionaries..love how its coming along, of course im not having to build any of it.. always great content..always
Trick to getting a stove to draw from cold is to light the fire in the flue itself -- heat rising in the flue sets off a chain reaction. Spent years struggling because I treated stoves like any other fire but they're not. Awesome wrecker creation!
Rory, the words that come to mind for you are "a craftsman with a wide range of skills who invariably posts fabulous content." Thank you, Mike and Shawn for the excellent films and Happy New Year to all of you and members of your family.
Really enjoy your well rounded general expertise. I have recovered from major back surgery while watching your channel grow up. Well maybe it never grew up…. Thank God for that, closest I come to hands on work right now is watching you guys clown around. I’m jealous of both the successful and not so successful attempts at improving your fleet. F the armchair nay sayers you are in the arena they watch, you get it done. Thanks again

No worries shit happens
OMG, Rory is ONLY human after all.....................
You DO suck at UA-cam😜
Rory come on man! Don't try to tell me you are human. Lol! Loving Mini Mater but @RobbyLayton Model AA Wrecker Build is taking shape nicely IMHO
Rory I watched the whole video & never noticed till i readed comments. You still might be mas smarter dan me .
I see 'Trailmater' (or Mike, Shawn or Rory) and I click it. I don't care about the pic or the thumbnail...it's Trailmater so it's all good! Always!
"Did that really go through? Did that really work?" Priceless.
You spoke of adding sponsorship previously and myself like many others appreciate your honesty and integrity. I wouldn't blame you either way but I hope you can find trustworthy sponsorship and share the good ones with all the folks out here struggling to weed out the rest.
Weed is a good sponsor, oops! I wasn't paying attention again.
Honestly one commercial is as bad as the rest. 🤷♂️
"use code mudslurpies300 on ag1 to get netative 5% off you next sparklefartpowder purchase" 😂😂
Just flog snake oil and collect the cash. Who cares if you're selling Snap-On or Established Titles. Everyone is going to ignore it anyway. At least you're getting paid and continuing to offer free videos.
Of course he will
Who reads desgriptions or pays attention to thumbnails? Just seeing a new vid from y'all is enough for me.
I read every video description since they take the time and effort to actually write a few sentences about what’s going on.
Exactly.I saw 'Trail Mater' and clicked. I hit Like and watched. Always entertaining.
That's the first thing I do
It gives me a clue what am about to watch
I am not really into Trailmater, but this build is a hoot... so yeah when I see this I jump. The rest I catch when I have a minute
@@dustinkelley7932 i bet you have all the merch too since they take the time too
Good job with fabricating, welding, cutting and fitting things together. Soon the firewall will be made to go in! The 3 of you laughing and having fun is inspiring!
I love Shawn’s laugh.
No
They all have a Infectious laugh ❤

Bakelite was what I was thinking too.
Bakelite is a brand and trade name that is still around today, not a material.
The material they're most famous for is a Phenol formaldehyde resin.
Everything was made of Bakelite from clock housings to dinner plates!
@@Angel-hd2rs ... and telephone bodies.
Bakelite is made by mixing raw-rubber sap with Sulphur; Not sure if heat involved
Great work! Humility in your achievements is impressive.
Best channel on youtube
Just a cool Saturday video. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
Keep up with the good work love watching your videos on UA-cam God bless

I was thinking the same thing, but I think I like this one even better..
Yeah kinda surreal!
Surprise!
I didn’t realize until this comment. I just click on Rory’s channel when comes in regardless😊

Glad to share this snowy Saturday with all of you,
Great job on this build,

But he is no nonsense get it done
Thanks for the video guys
You're never going to beat trail mater but Robbie's rig is looking badass.
Hell of good work.
Sick as fk ! & I don't lie !!!!!
It's amazing how 100 year old bolts almost always come loose with no problems, but a 10 year old modern bolt is rusted solid...
My favorite pass time….. watching others work. ;) Good job men!!! That thing is going to be awesome
It's nice to see you are once more working on Robby's wrecker.
The guy who can't think for himself! Lol
@@1one3_Racing To whom are you applying this sentiment?
@@guypehaim1080 Robby Layton. Have you not noticed that every build, except the bronco, is a replica of someone else's?
That truck is gonna be bada$$. Good job fellas!
Rory called the welder a gluestick at 15:48 ahahaha
You are amazing builders. The designs you come up with are great!! Robby's old wrecker is going to look absolutely outstanding!!
Everything looks the same, but it is all different.
Wow, this truck’s gonna be amazing!!
Pass the Glue Stick..!! Nearly fell of my chair with that one. Keep dishing out the quality entertainment guys,... You make it look easy.
Hearing the belt slap on the drill brought back memories of my Uncles Machine Shop.
That is going to be one Killer Truck! Thanks for sharing .
AND the sterring wheel is da BOMB !! Love it ! Makes the build !
YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! GOD BLESS. STAY SAFE. 😇
Can’t wait to see the Model AA’s shakedown run. It’s going to be too cool for Robby, you better add it to the trail mater fleet. 😊

U guys are awesome
OMG Rory!! Lube that tap!!
Coming from a old machinist watching you use no lube on your drills and taps is like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Weeeee! Keep up the good work! Greetings from Sweden
Love the teams imagination when fabricating. Makes me think more outside the box when I'm building projects
Making one heluva machine Rory, interesting to watch 🤠👍👍

Not over 6' so he doesn't need a harness!!😆Mike kiilin it with all his expert machining!!! I like that steering setup!!
Great job again.
Nothing like the sound of tools and machinery at work. 👍🏽
At the very end when Mike climbed in the cab and was sitting next to Rory I immediately pictured Laurel and Hardy🤣🤣🤣
