- Nicole Allen is the chef and owner of Nic’s Shrimp House, an up-and-coming food truck that offers southern style shrimp dishes all around Las Vegas. You might not associate Las Vegas with cajun inspired seafood, but Nicole has defied the expectations of the Las Vegas food truck scene by dishing out her 3-foot-long jumbo shrimp skewers, and other dishes that offer her original take on shrimp.

I love how he goes and talks with the customers while they wait, it would make me feel so welcomed. Also from a customer, I want to say it is the greatest when you get something that looks just as good/better than the pictures. That takes EFFORT and we thank you for that.
I liked this episode. I like her personality and voice. She speaks about her craft passionately and with pride.

Thats crazyyy. You never had an ACC/ACP (rice with shrimp/chicken topped with queso from a mexican restaurant) and used the chips to scoop up the rice & shrimp with queso?? its straight fire lol
@@TheJoseGonzalez9 yup, we mexicans either use tortillas, chips or a pieces of tostadas to scoop up the left overs, so yeah, i dont know what Geo is talking about lol

Love this. They knew what they wanted to do and did it. Team work. I would like to try something like this because I like cooking. Love this story. It's so crazy how she and I did the same job medical billing and like to cook. I'm glad they did this.

I have made it thru the whole menu and I can say I haven’t had anything that wasn’t A1 but my favorite are the shrimp and steak nic rolls

I’ve had nics shrimp food truck once during Covid lockdown… man I’ve been missing them ever since… them shrimp rolls are straight up fire!!! So good. Haven’t had them since but I always recommend them to people because it really is worth the try.

I'm all about supporting the local business. I tried the shrimp stick once.
The frugal side in me was like, for that price, I can do it myself.
If you go out to eat anywhere you can make it all, especially if you're a cook, because what it's really about is the experience and if you're frugal person and you gotta spend your money, frugal ppl will always be negative about something but if someone else is paying then everything is great.
Being frugal is good but sometimes you gotta let yourself enjoy things if not just stay home and cook.

Spicy shrimp skewers slightly charred..
shrimp nachos with the rice and lots of nacho cheese and those crispy homemade chips.

I tried the spicy shrimp skewer at First Friday. Pricey but tastes really good.

I love this!! Whew i could go for this right now!! Reminds me of Hawaii and lots of Hawaiians in Vegas we go the garlic shrimp trucks and lots of food truck events. Next time in in the 9th Island i gotta look them up. I love that's its a family run business

I was fortunate enough to be able to try the rice plate at First Friday in Vegas’ Arts District a while back. It had a really good flavor, but it was way too salty. Regardless, I’d still be willing to try some other items in the future.

Shrimps are basically Sea Cockroaches. Next time you eat Shrimp - think about it, and examine them close - they resemble water bugs or fat roaches - of the sea. Google it.
