I love the Big 8 - Overkill, Exodus, Testament, and Death Angel. Huge 80s thrash metal band. But these ladies can F play...they are my favorite of all time! Great to see & hear you coming back to LOVEBITES. I will admit that the first thing I noticed when the music starts is that your settings have changed so the music is mono instead of stereo. I checked your past reaction of "Break The Wall" and the music in that reaction video retained the stereo mix, Midori left channel & Miyako right channel. All their LIVE recordings have the guitars hard-panned to the channel corresponding to side-of-stage their amps are on which provides clarity of individual instruments especially considering their extensive "twin solo" work which is a major feature of this song, as well as most all of their songs. Also, Haruna's drums & cymbals are spread across the stereo spectrum as seen from audience view, again providing clarity, especially with headphones. Please adjust your settings to retain the stereo mix. Now I will continue watching ... 🐺 dreg👁

Eight new ones of the Dean she is playing came up for sale last month. I think they were $4,200. That's around the same price I paid for Miyako's Signature Dean Flying V, and then spent a lot of money on that strap she's wearing. There is no band now I consider an equal to Lovebites. In 1971, Led Zeppelin became that band for me, the one that can't be beat. Then in 2001, Opeth dethroned them. Then 20 years later in 2021 I stumbled on Lovebites, and there is nothing close to me. The band consists elite/virtuoso band members leaving no weak link. Their compositions are crafted to perfection, and then played to technical perfection.
This song much like most all their other songs has so much going on its pretty hard to articulate without getting to technical, simply brilliant stuff without a doubt! I think I would like something more in a Strat style but they are beautiful guitars for sure and I would love to own one someday! Miyakos Dean Icon isn't the regulary "run of the mill" guitar. She did some modifications to it. Fishman pick-ups, converting it from passive to active... Quite a guitar-nerd, so she got a few others. 1 ML, 1 Deans Signature V, a few Gibsons and Fenders.
yeah you can tell they have a little custom work but they are beautiful instruments played to perfection! I would love to get my hands on one of those newer Deans!
I don't think Miyako has any Fender guitars. She has a Strat-style, light blue that is from Infinity, a boutique Japanese guitar maker. Also a Tele-style "kit" she bought for the wood grain body which she put together with the support of her guitar-tech. Even her "Signature" Dean "V" she customized, the Fishman pickups I think.
