Welcome back to Lovebites ! "Nameless Warrior" chronicles the journey of the band from its inception to the time when the previous bassist left in 2021. This song is not easy to play LIVE because M&M pretty much harmonized licks/solos for the majority of the 6-minute plus track.

I find this song quite emotionally moving as the MV was the last song with Miho on bass for the recording, though released after she had announced her withdrawal. That video is a visual recap of the band's entire career to that point. This LIVE recording is amazing with the twin-guitars dominating, though Haruna is, as usual, laying a foundation that is integral to what I consider "The LOVEBITES Sound". Asami's vocal is phenomenal & Fami shows a serious expression suiting the subject. I'd like to bring your attention to some change in your settings for your videos that occurred sometime between your reaction to "Judgement Day" LIVE published August 22, 2023 and "Liar" LIVE published September 27, 2023. "Judgement Day" and all previous reactions (other bands included) have the music in your video in stereo. From "Liar" forward all reactions have the music converted to mono. This drastically effects the clarity & dynamics in a negative way. With LOVEBITES, especially their LIVE, always has the guitars panned to the channel corresponding to where their amps are onstage. Haruna's drums & cymbals are spread across the spectrum, as seen from audience view, with bass & vocal centered. Ever since listening to Cream 'Wheels of Fire' LIVE I have appreciated this basic stereo mix. I enjoy watching you react to LOVEBITES and hearing your commentary on the songs & band, but this conversion to mono detracts significantly from your previous 'production' that retained their meticulously crafted stereo mix. From their very first self-produced EP in 2017, all raw tracks have been sent from Japan to Finnvox in Helsinki, Finland for mixing & mastering by the same team employed by Nightwish, Children of Bodom, Stratovarius & many other bands. I expect that you are hearing in stereo in your headphones and thereby have an appreciation for their excellent LIVE recording & that important stereo mix, placing us front & center at their shows. The music video for “Nameless Warrior” was uploaded after it was officially announced that band leader Miho (bass) had left the band for personal reasons and that LOVEBITES would cease operations. The music video marked their footsteps from their first live performance as LOVEBITES to Live in Tokyo 2021, and also contained a strong message that “we will come back”. It must have been deeply moving for them to perform this song at the “Revival Concert” they held after a two-year absence.
They didn't announce that they were ceasing operations, only that they were going on hiatus. Just as a clarification. Although one may argue that's semantics. :)
Love this band! I was a huge Iron Maiden fan then these ladies came to my attention and took over as my favorite band! Haruna! Love Haruna. Her feet are so fast it blows my mind.

need to fix the mono playback...good review tho... the music scene in Japan seems to be thriving/growing...and agreed - this band is uniquely old school and fresh/new, As good as their studio stuff is, they're designed to be a live band...
Not sure what you mean about "mono", everything is in stereo and I dont have the ability to make something mono that I know of. Thank you, I really appreciate it I love all the music coming out of the Japan metal and hard rock scene! I totally agree they are definitely one of those bands that is best experienced live! I always recommend them to fans of the older metal and hard rock bands!
