Miyako's style with sweeps is unique, she had no formal training at all, everything was self taught. You will see she bends with her middle finger instead of her ring finger too. I think its pretty cool to see someone play as fast as she does outside of traditional technique.

On a whole different tip is acoustic stuff from them - no shredding but you will like. Miyako on piano and Asami voice pair up for an acoustic version of Rising. And Miyako put out an album last year of piano arrangements of metal masterpieces - i didn't think it could be done.
They played Unchained live in Atlanta and Dallas I found the Dallas version the best the Atlanta had issues with the mike her voice wasn't heard at first

every live show Atlanta Dallas and Los Angeles they all moved around except Haruna of course I haven't seen footage yet but being called Cafe Du Nord I expect less room to move around
I was at Cafe Du Nord. Haruna didn't have much room to move around either, as it was smaller than Echoplex in Los Angeles (which worked out, as it was a really intimate show; if Miyako and Asami did a solo show with just a piano, it would be a perfect venue!). But everyone else definitely moved around, and it was FUN!!
