I always felt Manslaughter was the worst. Way to big and slow to dodge anything. Sweet tooth and Warthog absolutely shred through his extra armor since they can hit you for the entirety of their Specials. Constantly hunting for Turbo because it needs to use it all the time to put out fires since it can't dodge anything.
These are actually really entertaining. I cracked up when you were trying my to coax other drivers off the bridge into the pit, but you ended up falling in lol

The El Camino design for the vehicle is phenomenal and truly inspired, and that's honestly the only nice thing I can say about playing as Brimstone lol
I honestly never had issues playing as Brimstone. I like driving around as Spectre in this game, being able to zoom and shoot, and Brimstone's stats are almost Identical to hers. The special is not great, but it is satisfying to finish enemies off with, which is what I see it as being used for. Also 17:20, that green sign in the tunnel, park under it and jump for Secret Health.

Brimstone was the hardest for you to use? Personally, I'd say it was Grimm until I figured out how to fight the bosses for how tricky they are to hit (weak spots). Brimstone's a character where you need to learn combos to be effective, like Dollface. His special is huge when you combo it with freeze. Try to hit and run with every attack you make, like Grimm. Never rely on your machinegun. Also tricking AI into falling off cliffs is amazing with Brimstone. Standing still, NEVER do that in TM games or SW Demolition. Vigilante 8 is huge for Beezwax.
Brimstone... As kids we would play knockout rounds of video games, mostly racing and wrestling. Pick a guy and if you lose you can't use him anymore. Run it until only one player has options left. I do not think Brimstone ever won a round but I for sure know he was usually the last option we'd leave ourselves.

I'd argue that sure he's a good guy in the reboot game, but he's just a one-scene wonder that never shows up again. And personally, the definitive Calypso is the first game's one, where wishes are fulfilled in both letter and spirit. Maybe should we get a new Twisted Metal game, we get the more common jackass genie of twisting wishes on easier and medium difficulties, while getting wishes fulfilled in a way that was actually wanted ought to be the reward for going all-in on the harder difficulties.
Perhaps Brimstone is so underwhelming and underpowered as a metaphor for Jebediah?: He's delusional, hence the large armored vehicle that is somehow weaker than a golf cart, but also a "punished" soul seeking redemption, so using it it's just painful?. I started watching your PTs simply cause I wanted to see every vehicle's "weapon storage" animations, but it's honestly entertaining to watch, so thank you!

I haven't done it for this game but I did do it for Small Brawl, The effort I speak of is beating the game with everyone on normal & in doing so you unlock the 1st boss as a playable character, and that is rough to do with certain characters, I know you can do it in this game too because Small Brawl and Black were made alongside each other if I recall, It's ashame that in this one it stops at Minion, to my knowable knowledge Black was supposed to have Warhawk has a playable character if you beat the game on hard with Minion just like you would beating Small Brawl on Hard with Trapper you unlock PieceMeal.
Preacher is actually an interesting character because he's the guy responsible for cursing Sweet Tooth's head to forever burn. If that's not interesting enough, the supposed "demon" possessing him is just his own piety and sanity working against him. Religion can actually get people to be that way, if they're not balanced enough from reality. In terms of gameplay, he's just an average character. Too bad his special attack only looks good if you were on the receiving end of it. You'll hardly hear the martyr shout "REPENT!" if you play as Preacher because you'll be on the move most of the time.
I used roadkill and grim as my favorites but agree brimstone felt lacking from what i remember playing and manslaughter driven by black the unlockable car, his code was the secert story line behind the whole game

With characters like roadkill running around, he really isn’t that good and has a lot of flaws, but he’s at least usable. Characters like Hammerhead is slow, needs to be in harms way to do anything with her special, using the special almost guaranteed to flip you over, which opened you up to more damage, and seeing videos of hammerhead today, the ram damage it does do does not seem worth the trouble you have to get into to use it. Imo, hammerhead to me is a worse character than Brimstone.
finished with all characters back in when the game came out....yup brimstone special sucks...tho for me the one that I had a problem finishing it was darkside,have tons of fun playing the auto cinema vs 8 in hard.....
Darkside has a lot more potential than Best Boi Brim, but trying to harness that potential is about as pleasant as bashing your head into a wall and the wall telling you to go f*ck yourself.

Yeah Brimstone was ass on some things but, that ride had one of the best control in the game. Other than his armor it was one of my favs.
